Description of Work: Replaced the switch in lid of washing machine in about 30 minutes.

Description of Work: My 2 year Whirpool dishwasher quit and I was about to buy a new one. After seeing Action Appliance on Angie's List, I decided to call him. He came out the next day and told me the control board was bad. Ordered a new one, but it was bad also (he never tried to install it). He got a second replacement board, installed it and the dishwasher works fine now. I hadn't told him, but my garbage disposal had just started leaking. With a small hammer, he tightened it and no more leaks. Fortunately this was a very minor fix, so don't expect him to do major repairs that weren't what you call him for. He may give you an opinion on some other problem or he may come back another time to fix it. He has other customers of course. He has quite a bit of automobile experience and he looked at my car, which had been leaking coolant. He told me what he thought it was and referred me to an automobile repair place. How many people would go to that kind of trouble for problems not related to what you called him for? This man (Ken Wilson) is very nice, knowledgeable about a lot of things and is very willing to refer you to someone else to fix it if he doesn't have the time.

Description of Work: My Oven ignitor had gone out. Ken gave me an estimate, picked up the part and came and installed when he said he would. HE was very nice and professional. He even repaired a burner at no charge, I'm sure this would have been double the cost from a major company like Sears, or Maytag. They probably would have told me that the burner was bad, instead he explained to me that it was just clogged and proceeded to unclog it.. He also gave me a 1 year warranty on the product and the work that he did on my oven.I would recommend him for all major appliance repair, and will call him back for sure.
