Description of Work: After a neighbor recommending Nolan to me for a tree I needed taken down in the previous year, I was familiar with his quality work and unbeatable pricing. I called Nolan again when I needed a tree taken down in addition to trimming other trees. He works so fast and so efficiently at such great prices, I don't know why anybody would use anyone else

Description of Work: Ace came in with the lowest bid but did a really first rate job.

Description of Work: Did some pruning of trees. They were courteous, punctual and the price seemed fair.

Description of Work: Ace was one of several tree service companies I called for a quote to cut down a dead oak tree in my back yard. their estimator came late, after I had chosen another company. This company quoted $800.00 for the job and said they would begin the work the very same day. Then, the Ace estimator came and quoted $550.00 saying "That's not $800.00 worth of work". I decided to use Ace, obviously, based on the much better price. They rescheduled me a couple of times and I ended up having to wait almost two weeks when I had told them I needed it done ASAP. Then, on the appointed day, the owner came and decided not to do the job. Later in the day, I finally got in touch with the estimator who told me the owner had changed the price from $550.00 to $1200.00, making it the highest of 6 quotes I received. I had scheduled deliveries, workers and even travel based on this tree getting cut down. I double confirmed the date with Nolan Strange, the owner. After he flaked out on the job, seriously screwing up my plans, he would not answer my calls, nor return calls when I explained in voicemails how what he had done had affected my other plans. What a disgraceful company.

Description of Work: Mr. Strange appeared exactly on time, his workers did the trimming for 4 large trees and fed one tree. They cleaned up and took away the trimmings, leaving some fire wood from one tree, as I'd asked. I just bought my house, so when my neighbor said the trees had never looked so good, I thought, OK, that's good!

Description of Work: Removed some trees and tree limbs, ground out stumps.
