I was overcharged. I had to have them come back and do work over. When the did the work over, it has not held up. I would never use them again. They were punctual. They charge too much. The guy was pleasant but the work has not held up. It was not done in a professional level. The patch that he did to seal off the water pipe to the roof was very sloppy. The toilet that he installed has already come uncaulked and moved around on the floor. I would never have them come back in my house.

The technician listened to our issues and offered numerous solutions and recommendations while taking into consideration the costs of the services. He was considerate, professional, and went beyond expectations with his service levels.

Recommendations made to initially repair, but total replacement is recommended. Customer service was great from the initial call to when the technicians diagnosed the problems. Even though I did not have funds to fix today, the technicians were so compassionate and kind. I would recommend this company to anyone looking for honest and quality service.

Very well. Besides checking all of our water connections they check toilet seals and test water hardness and pH. The best part is they do a thorough flush of the water heaters. This service is provided as part of the yearly membership fee to belong to the members club.

It went well arrived on time and performed all duties and cleaned up after themselves. They understood the system and did a great job.

I called this morning to request an estimate for replacing two 40 gallon water heaters with equivalent 40 gallon units or with a tankless system. My appointment was then scheduled for today, which was great. The technicians showed up at the time promised. I had several questions about tankless systems versus tank systems as regards reliability, maintenance, various pros and cons, etc. All of my questions were answered well with technical precision, and all aspects of the estimates were explained. I called and scheduled an appointment. They called me before the appointment to let me know that they were on the way. Gregg arrived on time and quickly let me know the two possible scenarios for the leaky toilet. He was able to fix the problem. Uneven tile under the toilet and worn out seal. He also gave me estimate for a couple of other jobs that I need to have done. He answered all my questions and was very professional. This is the second time that my wife and I have used Abacus and will use them again. I also recommend their Membership.

I called Abacus to diagnose a problem with a slow draining bathroom sink. Customer Service was very helpful in scheduling an appointment and managing expectations. The technician, Roger, arrived on time, was very friendly and proceeded to correct the problem, leaving the bathroom perfectly clean and the sink working like a charm. All the paperwork was electronic and sent to my email address. I was thrilled with the service and the results!

We are an alarm company that was installing a small cellular transmitter next to the security system panel in the customers closet to switch them over to our monitoring. When he was installing a dry wall screw in the wall to mount the unit, he accidentally made a tiny puncture in a copper pipe behind the sheet rock resulting in a fine mist of water coming out. He spotted it right away and turned off the water before any damage was done. It happens, just a freak accident. When we called Abacus to see if they could come out and splice the pipe (its a small, probably less than one inch copper pipe, from the hot water heater). Their plumber showed up in probably a few hours which we thought was outstanding. He then called our office and laughingly (not kidding) told us that it would be over $ 600 to put a coupler in and sweat it in (which means solder it) and then he said, probably take 15 minutes. $600, are you kidding? They knew they had us over a barrel as we say in Texas and just laughed when we said he had a gun to our head. When their office lady called us for payment, this is what she told us....."Since you are a commercial business, you are being billed commercial rates." We said, it's a house, not a business. She said since a business is paying for it, you have to pay the commercial rate. Are you kidding me? This is a joke right? Where are the hidden cameras? Nope, no joke. Just outright highway robbery.

So impressed! My husband was going to change the air duct to prevent foul smell of dead rodent from coming in, but the owner requested the technician to double check and asked him to replace only when he spots damage. When we asked for air duct cleaning, the tech recommended the specialist who had given us a lower estimate. Then the company also honored the two day promotion of free inspection. Very impressed.

Abacus was able to schedule an appointment very quickly and was very accommodating when I needed to unexpectedly change the day. The technician was clean, polite, asked questions and explained what would need to be done and all of the pricing up front. The technician was able to diagnose the problem and unclog the drains and explained what had happened and what could be done in the future to help prevent clogging. Highly recommend!

Technician was very thorough in his inspection and made recommendations to maintain performance of A/C unit. He took time to explain what he did and answer all my questions. Very pleased with service and would highly recommend Abacus

FANTASTIC! They called twice to let me when they'd arrive (they were actually running early!) and when Luis arrived he looked at the problem and immediately knew the issue. He had our dishwasher up and running in 15 minutes. He showed me how to prevent problems going forward AND how to clean it thoroughly to prevent buildup. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

First, I want to give a big thank you for offering 24 hour service. It was quite a relief searching online for 24 hour plumbing services when at 9pm my water heater decided to spring a leak and 3 companies popped up. All with high ratings. I chose Abacus because I had seen your trucks driving around town so it was purely based on a visual observation as to why I chose your company. I also was impressed by the time it took to send a technician out and the way you kept me informed as to when he would arrive. I appreciate the communication. After I initially called Abacus to get a technician, the gentlemen on the phone made me aware of the time frame when the technician would come and said he would call me back as to a more accurate time. Sure enough, he did and told me it would be an hour. This was at 11pm. I was very pleased that the technician actually showed up sooner than an hour. Great service and communication! Second, I want to let you know that Steve Phaly was an excellent technician and his attitude and demeanor was exemplary. He clearly enjoys helping people and is obviously very knowledgeable in his field. He introduced himself, shook my hand, and was very polite when I met him. He saw the problem immediately, took appropriate action to stop the leak and when I told him that this was a lease house, he understood that I might need to contact the management company before repairing the problem. He wrote out the invoice with an explanation of what needs to be done which I have sent to my management company and I hope that it will be taken care of soon. If I did not have to go through a third party, I would have had Steve fix it on the spot or have called Abacus in the morning to schedule an appointment. Based purely on his excellent service, I will definitely call Abacus again if ever I need a technician. When I purchase a home, I will definitely have Abacus on my list of service companies to call.

Great! On time and the representative was friendly, thorough and took time to explain every step of the process. The total customer service experience was A1. The price point was for Summer and Winter AC Maintenance for my two AC Units. Also, include additional coupons that can be applied to other services they provide.

The quality of the work was fine and the technician himself was very personable and professional. The reason for the F rating is because I was charged over $2000 for three hours of work. I supplied the sink, I supplied the disposal and I supplied the kitchen faucet so the entire $2000 that I paid was for labor (with the exception of $150 of drain cleaner). That works out over $500 an hour for labor. That's more than my attorney charges me per hour. This is completely unacceptable and I feel like I was price gouged because the technician knew that I had no running water in my kitchen
