Fantastic! There were no hidden fees, all work was performed as requested in a timely fashion and the tech Jason was awesome! He was informative professional and courteous to my family.

Abacus called me to let me know the technicians would be there in about 30 minutes, and the technicians showed up right on time. They promptly diagnosed the issue (dampers had blocked the air from flowing into that bedroom) and fixed it. The only charge was the initial evaluation charge, which the Angie's List coupon covered. Our guest bedroom is now the same temperature as the rest of the house.

Everything went fine and a minor repair was made. No problems and the tech explained everything.

Abacus came out the next day. The Abacus certified plumber could have told me several expensive things that needed to be done to determine if there was a leak. Instead, he offered me the least expensive way to determine if I had a leak. I appreciated his honest opinion and not taking advantage of my lack of knowledge on what needed to be done. His honesty confirmed that I will use Abacus in the future!

It went great. I called Abacus in the morning & by 3 pm Lindell was over to install a new garbage disposal. He was very polite & courteous. He cleaned up the whole mess & I as good to go.

It went great. Cesar worked really hard for 3 straight days, up & down the ladder, in this horrible heat. When he installed the new breaker box, he worked 5 hours straight without a break. He was amazing . I just can't say enough about his dedication to doing the job right.

Our sink clogged on Thursday night. I called Abacus on Friday morning at 9:30 and they were able to schedule me for that day at noon. Sonny, the plumber, arrived on time and was super friendly and personable. He listened to my concerns and immediately identified the problem and presented me with a quote to fix the issue. The price was very reasonable and came with a 123 day warranty. Sonny fixed my sink in under an hour and also went above and beyond by repairing a pipe that was improperly installed by our builder (at no cost). He recommended a product for maintenance which i did buy. I trust Sonny completely. I could not have asked for a better experience.

Antoine felt more like an old Army buddy, than just a high quality technician. He radiated experience, confidence and kindness. Antoine really listened to me, before going to look at the equipment. The whole experience, resulting in a quick and necessary repair, felt like it was being done "with me". I highly recommend Antoine El-Kassis (and have already taped his ABACUS business card to my attic stairs)!

I didn't go well at all. I requested service and was given a service day and time. On that day, the customer service manager called 2 hours after the plumbing was supposed to arrive and said he was behind scheduled and would arrive at 6pm instead. At 7pm, the customer Service mgr called my again and said they would have to reschedule the following day. THE PLUMBER NO-SHOWED AND NO-CALLED AGAIN!!!! This very professional.

They did a good job of diagnosing the problem and not running unnecessary tests.

We were having problems with our plumbing (toilets and kitchen sink) that started shortly after the July-4th holiday. The toilets began backing up on Friday night the following weekend and it was obvious that something needed to be done by Saturday. The first attempt was to notify our septic maintenance vendor but got an answering machine several times. I then called several vendors with A ratings on the Angie's referral list, and Abacus was the first to return my call. I reached them late Friday night but they agreed to come by between 8:00 and 11:00 AM Sunday, the next morning. However, when we had not heard from them by 10:30 AM, we called them. Turns out that the dispatch had the wrong contact number and had not been able to reach us. So they had canceled our appointment. They originally were going to set-up an appointment for the following morning, but when we described the urgency of the problem, they agreed to work us in later that day. The technician arrived around 4:30 PM and it didn't take long for him to diagnose the problem--our septic tanks were full, and the system was not draining properly. Since Abacus did not perform pumping services, he said we should hire a pumping company (see quote in postscript). While discussing the payment, he brought up the Abacus Membership that would provide several miscellaneous plumbing services for a year at $126.00. This includes a complete home inspection and several miscellaneous benefits so I signed us up for one year. One attraction was maintenance of the hot water heater, which I have been meaning to work on for some time. Another is for them to "come out and video inspect mainline under slab thru cleanout..." after the other septic company comes out. These services are to be performed when they come out in the future. The Angie's Coupon specifically states that the benefit does not apply to members of the Abacus club, and I asked. He only charged the membership fee, and nothing for the service call. So this did not seem to be a problem considering the future work. Will see what the follow up brings, so watch for another review of this company. PostScript: The pumping company noticed that the septic pump was not running and this was the main source of the septic problems. This was not diagnosed by the Abacus technician, but to be fair, in his notes, he said " I'm not a septic tank expert but all the signs show a full tank to me. Told customer he should call a septic company to come and it then abacus can come out..."

This was an excellent experience. The panel in question is out of date, and the area around it has some erosion damage. The technician was very knowledgeable and helped me understand some of the risks and issues that could occur were I to move forward with the replacement. I received a quote almost immediately and was more than happy with the overall experience.

I would consider using them again.

The technician was very professional and informative. He made me feel very comfortable by welcoming my interest in his work. He quickly isolated the issue while explaining the process. The repair was quick and Monte provided A+ service. I'm glad to have found a company of integrity.

I checked Angie's List Tuesday evening and saw a lot of good reviews for Abacus so I decided to call them. They scheduled the appointment for between 10a-1p the next day, on Wednesday they called back and advised that Thomas would be at my location at 12:30p. So an A for responsiveness & punctuality. Thomas Moreno came by, took a look at the location, checked for the leak which proved to be a fractured water line and immediately indicated he'd be able to repair it right away. He quoted a reasonable price for the work and also indicated he'd honor the discount coupon on Angie's list as a first time customer. He immediately began the repair, showing me the corrective measures and improvements he was making as the work progressed. All in all, the repair from start to finish took about 2 1/2 hours and I ended up with corrective repairs that are better than the original installation. A job well done. Thomas thoroughly cleaned up the job site and restored the area back to normal. I unhesitatingly recommend he and Abacus for any of your plumbing repairs.

Everyone I dealt with at Abacus helped make the best of a frustrating situation. The technician they dispatched was able to resolve the issue quickly.

The main drain was fixed and my AC was back up and running within 2 hrs of the technician showing up at my house.

We woke up to a decent sized water leak coming from the meter box on our front lawn. I checked Angie's List and saw a lot of good reviews for Abacus so I decided to call them. I called around noon, scheduled the appointment for between 3-5 that day, and they called back and were able to come earlier, about 1. So an A for responsiveness & punctuality. Andres came by, took a look at the box, and immediately said it was the flange and would be expensive. He said that five feet of pipe would need to be replaced at the meter at a cost of $1500. He said that the bolts had rusted causing the leak. Water meter bolts rusting? That didn't pass the smell test. He didn't even drain the flooded meter box to get a good look at the issue. As the house is only 2 years old the meter, pipes, and everything is pretty new. So I declined service to get a second opinion and had to pay a $49 service call fee. And I'm glad I decided to get another opinion because it turns out that the only issue was just the bolts were loose! The bolts were tightened and the leak fixed without replacing any pipe or parts. I do not believe that this misdiagnosis was made on accident so I wouldn't recommend Abacus for any plumbing repairs. Hope this helps save someone some headaches and money.

The abacus plumbers and electricians are always polite and very competent. We highly recommend them. While there are other companies that charge less for their services we find Abacus offers the best value in the long run.
