Beyond expectations! Joe was the kindest and most intelligent man we have ever had the privilege to help us with plumbing issues. He handled things so well, they were better than when the careless plumber who installed these items originally! The work so well now! He treated our home as if it were his home, and we ALL were crazy about him as a person!! Only man I will.want to help.us in the future!!

So they showed up for their assessment, & one guy goes up to the attic while the other guy just sat on my bottom step & caught his breath. So after the younger guy took screenshots of what was going on in my attic and showed them to the older guy, the older guy says “Well, looks like your builders went the cheap route and installed copper coils, which is wrong because due to the humidity in our area all coils are supposed to be aluminum. Your coils are rusting, so my recommendation is that you replace the coils on both units to be done with it, and if you’re doing that you need to also replace the pan. The pan is $900, but since you’re a veteran, I can give it to you for $700. Your house and units are under 5 years old, so they’re under warranty. The warranty price is $2700, but if you didn’t use the warranty it’d be about $3800.” I then asked what about the 15% veteran discount the lady on the phone promised me? He replied, “Well I’m already giving you $200 off the pan, I can’t go any lower.” Mind you, I’m not dumb, & a 15% discount on a $2700 bill is roughly $450, so no, his $200 pan discount wasn’t sufficient. As far as the pan was concerned, I smelled BS, so I did my research. A new pan costs $100 at Lowe’s or Home Depot. So the next day when the installers showed up, I voiced my concerns. The installer said “I’m just the installer so I don’t deal with pricing, but I will tell you I’m pretty sure a drain pan isn’t $900”. He also advised me that installing my Nest thermostat, which I specifically told the guys the day prior, wasn’t on the work order and therefore he wasn’t supposed to touch it, but he’d take care of it for me. Additionally, he told me that the work order only said the coils on one AC were to be replaced. This all caused me to call the company. A manager called me back and explained that he’d take $700 off the price because my actual price for pans was $200. Mind you, I still haven’t seen my $700 credited back to my card. He also assured me the Nest thermostat would be taken care of. He also advised me that they’d removed the coils from the wrong unit, so they’d end up replacing both after all, at no charge to me. That was nice, but given the fact I was told both were being replaced for the price quoted I wasn’t impressed. So as the work continues, I again ask the installer about the Nest, and he says “oh, they told me they’re going to send an expert out to install the Nest for you. Ummm, no expert showed that day, & it’s been a week and I haven’t seen or heard from anyone. To top it all off, after all that money, & they were at my house from 930AM until 7PM, and the installer tells me “I think there are still issues, so I need you to be watching your ceiling for leaks.” Umm, so you mean to tell me, on a 5 year old house, that I just paid you $2700 to work on, you’re telling me everything may not be fixed and to watch for a leaking roof???!!! I’m not happy with this place, and I’m very concerned about the lying. I asked the manager on the phone why the guy who gave me my quote told a bold face lie to me about the pan price, & his reply was “I don’t know”.

In getting other quotes, and talking to other people, I do believe we'll be able to find the service that we need done at a better price. I can see why people would pay their price because their service is so good.

The technician was informative and professional. He utilized shoe covers going in and out of the house which illustrates to me a show of respect and care. You don't get great service like this anymore so it was very refreshing to receive. Abacus is a little higher than most, but the service received was well worth the cost.

I purchased an air conditioning unit last year and a heating furnace.

I had a line that was clogged coming out of the kitchen. It was resolved.

my house was flooded recently and we discovered several issues as well as created some by cutting water line taking down drywall in wet bar. Technician took care of those issues as well as pointed out issues to gas fireplaces. Technician went above and beyond.

Jason's team arrived on time & quickly assessed the issue to be related to the irrigation system. This was really good news - no major repair needed. He did no charge for visit. Very nice fellow.

Need to have total replacement. Original equipment.

They were suppose to come out from 12-3. I never heard from them. I called and they said they would have o come from 3-6. After waiting 5 hours. I called at 5 and cancelled. Would never use them again. So disappointed.

Went great. Quick reply. Called before arriving. Gave us a quote told us what was wrong. We agreed and Jose "Pepe" did the work.

They advertise on Angie's list and their website 24/7 service. Called on Sunday at noon - was told no one was available until Monday morning. Not the thing you want to hear when its 90 degrees outside. Perhaps, Sunday service pertains mostly to their plumbing or electrical service; if so, that should be spelled out in their ads.

Technician had to troubleshoot the leak & traced it to the water heater in our attic.
