I've been an AAA Texas member for years, and for the first time ever called for roadside assistance today. I had a totally blown out tire. I was told they'd get there somewhere between 1 and 2 hours. I live in Houston, a major metropolitan area, and you would think they would be there quicker. I ended up changing the tire myself, and plan to end my relationship with AAA Texas. It's a waste of money!

Their response time is good. I get discounts on hotels.

Their service guy responded very quickly on a Sunday night and did everything we required. He ensured that he got a statement from us that we were happy. We were happy with his work but we were sunk by the cost. It was to re-key four doors and we were thinking it would be a simple re-keying job but for some technical reasons, it couldn't be done. The bottom line, I think, was because he didn't have the right parts and we can't argue with him at that one. The estimate we called for was $300-400. I don't know whether he was right or wrong but I was disappointed. However, I think he did the best he could and the work he did was certainly satisfactory. The locks have worked fine since then and I'm sure they'll work fine for another 20 years.

They are prompt, quick and efficient. The price is great because we get and ldquo;xand rdquo; number per year for no extra charge.

OUR HOMEOWNERS INSURANCE KEEPS GOING UP EVERY YEAR. LAST YEAR I HAPPENED TO CHECK WITH AAA AND THEY HAD A GREAT POLICY AND PRICE. SO I SWITCHED TO AAA, HOMEOWNERS PLUS AUTO, UMBRELLA AND FLOOD. THE ONLY NEGATIVE WAS THEY DON'T OFFER AUTO-PAYMENTS FROM YOUR CHECKING ACCOUNT. I HOPE THEIR RENEWAL PRICES DON'T GO UP TO MUCH THIS YEAR.
