A1 Plus Electrical, Heating & Air

If I could leave "No Stars" I would. I am located in Texas City, called on Monday for a "Visual Estimate" for Ducting. I was put on the schedule of 1pm-4pm window for Tuesday. Received text to confirm appointment, and I did. Tuesday @245pm I called to get status, was advised they would call to see where & how long it would be & would call me back with an ETA. 4;04PM, NO CALLBACK, NO ETA, NO SHOW NO CALL FROM TECHNICIAN. If you can not adhere to "your schedule", then why was I put on one?

The technician didn’t perform the cleaning that should have been done and did overcharge my system with refrigerant and leave the condenser caps off, causing a leak. When I scheduled a follow up I was charged another $79 for a technician to completely fail to see the real problem and tell me my condenser coil was leaking and my best option was to replace the whole system for nearly $10,000. I called my parents’ trusted technician for a second opinion and he found the issues and repaired them immediately and said the last technicians clearly didn’t know what they were doing and massively overpriced their quote. They also left their licensing information off of the invoices - a legal violation the licensing board takes very seriously. I reached out Thursday afternoon to get my money back and I’ve had no response at all.

My experience was positive, they work hard and do the job correctly.

I wasted three days dealing with A1 Plus with zero results. First scheduled appointment, the technician failed to appear without prior warning. Second appointment, technician arrived but failed to complete the service because he lack the required parts. This tech stated he would return the following morning by 10am. He failed to appear. Spoke with customer service rep, she stated would call me back after doing some research. After several hours, I contacted A1 Plus again only to be told they are not authorised to service Kohler generators. I disclosed my type of generator on Angi's List and during the initial telephone contact.

I was not very happy with the price to fix my electrical problem that I was quoted on. However, Abel Alfarro and Jerrod did a great job, were fast, and explained the electrical problems and issues encountered. They provided great customer service.

Friendly, and the technician seemed to want to get results to my satisfaction.

They were right on time and were very professional with no pressure. Haven't made decision yet but plan to very soon.

Centerpoint was out and could not fix the problem but A-1 did, and they did a great job.

Young technician made mistake costing me microwave. Otherwise as promised.

Mr Roy Escobar was very professional in the way he review and discuss my project to intall a new conection in my home for a portable generator. He recommend me including a surge protector for my home which I thought was a good idea.

Jose was here on time and very courteous. Had defective toggle switch to ceiling light fixture; he fixed that. Also asked him to remove two light fixtures in another room so they could be cleaned.

Went very well. Dimmer light was flashing; turned out the wrong bulb was installed several days ago. Jose checked the switch first-it was fine. Then he checked the bulb. Grabbed the wrong one!

These guys really did a great job. I asked for a quote through Home Advisor, they quoted me the next day and the day after that they did the work. Ray and Eric came out and put in a new outlet in our kitchen island. They were fast and did a great job. And they did a fantastic job at cleaning up before they left. I very highly recommend.

The tech arrived on time on October 31. One of my sockets was the switch to the garbage disposal; the other to a regular room light. He had to run to Home Depo for the parts. Good experience.
