A Better Pressure Wash

Mark did an outstanding job on all of his work. Worked continuously while he was here, through the heat of a July day in Texas! He made our walkways and driveway look like new. People would stop and admire his work, so i hope he gets more calls from this job. I would definitely call him again to pressure wash or clean windows. Very professional and a pleasure to work with!

When is the last time the outside of your house smelled fresh and clean and simply gleamed in the sunlight? The original structure of my house is brick. (The house is over 75 years old.) It had developed significant accumulations of mold which was especially concentrated where I had allowed the bushes to grow up against the house for an embarrassing number of years. In preparation for needed mortar repairs and painting of the cedar shingled addition, I hired Mark Martin of "A Better Pressure Wash" after finding him with great reviews on Angie's List. Mark came out within 24 hours to give a written estimate and noted that he would take extra precaution with all bricks that were compromised by mortar issues. Mark and his brother-in-law, John, showed up when they said they would and they did an outstanding job. It took them just over two hours to clean my 1500 square foot house. Mark sprayed the worst areas with a pretreatment before they started the pressure washing. They had to climb on the roof to access the steep pitch on my single story house. They raised each screen of my 14 windows to wash away the dirt and leaves that had accumulated. And, as a lagniappe, they pressure washed my dirty front porch! I was worried about the brick holding up, because of mortar damage, but there was absolutely no damage done to the brick and it is the cleanest I have seen it in years. I don't have a stucco house but I was also given a lesson on how badly stucco can be damaged when someone inexperienced with stucco simply pressure washes it instead of cleaning it the right way without pressure washing. Mark didn't ask, but I am going to pass his name on to some of the folks in my neighborhood who do have stucco. Mark and John are very professional and personable. They make a great team and I am lucky to have found them. I know anyone else who hires them will be just as satisfied as I am.

Perfectly. All the work was done as expected and when expected. No trash was left at our house. Totally satisfactory in every way. This is Mark's second year of doing my windows and walkways. I will definitely call him this time next year.

Everything a serviceman should be and more. Came to give me an estimate very promptly and provided fast follow up with pricing. Also offered to clean other areas of my home and I must say, it is GLEAMING! What a fantastic job. I will go back every time to him for cleaning gutters and other exterior services. Previously I had tried a different popular A rated gutter cleaning service on Angie's List and it was a miserable disappointment--I couldn't even manage to get the company to show up after a month. I am so pleasantly surprised that "A Better Pressure Wash" was able to handle gutters so well, and they are a flawless example of great service for gutter cleaning. HIGHLY recommended for upscale homes.

Cancelled twice due to crew problems and equipment problems. Came out first time and pressured washed house etc. Did not do a complete job, I called Mr. Martin and he said that when he comes back out to wash all of the windows he will complete the pressure washing. Unfortunately he torn up our spa top that costs $420.00 therefore he told my husband he knew this work would be for free and did a lousy job. Even with that and the additional cost to us to replace the spa cover we paid him $175.00 because we felt bad.

I called on a Friday afternoon before the 4th of July holiday weekend, and Mark cheerfully answered and said "no problem", he'd be glad to come by after the weekend and take a look. When he called with his price, I was really impressed. We had put off hiring someone to do this job, because even companies who'd offered "deals" were quite a bit more expensive for a home with three stories. But that green mold was getting worse, and the north side is the side that faces the street -- so it's extremely obvious, and really unsightly. Not anymore! I'm SO happy we found A Better Pressure Wash!! Mark and his partner arrived promptly at 9:00 this morning, and within a couple of hours-- voilà! The mold is gone, and our house is beautiful, again! Mark explained that he would never use a pressure-washer on stucco, because of the potential for damaging, or even ripping off, the stucco. He uses a hose and chemicals, along with his own skill and knowledge, and the results are absolutely beautiful! They cleaned the mold off the entire north side of the house-- the stucco and the windows -- all three stories, all the way up to the roof! I'm SO thankful and SO impressed! "A Better Pressure Wash" is "THE BEST Pressure Wash" in my book! I will DEFINITELY be calling Mark back -- I'm putting him on speed-dial-- and recommending him to my neighbors and friends!

good and worked 3 hours consistently. Covered up plants before spraying chemicals. Do cover any brass door handles as chemicals.affect them.

Cleaned the windows with newpaper, which prevents streaks. Completed all work in single day. Very prompt arrival and start.

Mark was very friendly and personally came to the house to do an evaluation before giving us an estimate. He did an honest evaluation of what was needed and what wasn't, which I appreciated. He gave me a timeframe for the service and completed it earlier than I expected. Everything looks great, especially the brick. I would call him again.

The three men were timely and hard working. They quality of their work is excellent. My only complaint is that they removed the spray nozzle from my hose and now I can't find it.

Simply said, excellent service! Not only did they do a super job on my residence that I was readying for sale, they also did some additional pressure washing on the house next door in order to assist with the total "curb appeal." I have no doubt that their work contributed immensely to the very quick sale at OVER ASKING PRICE! Yay!

They power washed the fence in one afternoon. The fence needed to dry to 2 days before applying the sealer. This was when mother nature decided to spend the next five days raining, but they were able to apply the sealer to finish the work. Mark Martin the owner does what he says he will do and do it professionally. I would use this company again.

We hired Mark to clean the exterior of our rental house, in addition to cleaning the gutters and windows. Mark was very prompt, scheduling the work immediately.
