+ -1 moreIt was a good experience having him work for us. I'm not sure about the price because a lot of it was reimbursed by my insurance. They came out within a few hours and everything is done within a couple of hours. They also referred us to a company where we got our alarm system. Everything was very quick, efficient, and the locks work great. He was an expert and a local. He knew the neighborhood. The price was fair and reasonable.
Description of Work: We used A B A C Safe & Lock to replace some locks and install a lock on our gate.

+ -1 moreCharlie arrived earlier than estimated. Call that he was at the car. Watched him pry the frame of the door and taggedthe lock and open the door. He is smooth and made his job looked very effortless. I also mention that i got him off Angie's List. Thank you Charlie for all you did to relieve my tension.

+ -1 moreCharlie arrived promptly and tried to pick the lock without success. he then removed the lockset after asking if that was OK. he offered to replace it but I could do that myself.

+ -1 moreHe was here for 10 minutes and told me he had fixed it. I had several things going on at once and I assumed he had fixed it and didn't check his work before he left. When my husband got home he said there was no change at all in the condition of the door. My husband ending up taking the time to fix it. My fault for not checking it out before I paid him. He had me make the check payable to him personally and indicated he owned the company.
Description of Work: I called Charles Priest twice to get him to my house to fix a french door that was out of alignment and wouldn't lock. The work (lack of) was done on 6/3/08.

+ -1 moreI called another locksmith to have work done, and since he was going on vacation, he referred me to Charlie. I called and left a message. Charlie called back immediately, and we scheduled for him to come the next day at 10:00am. The next day he showed up promptly at 10:00. He was very friendly and polite. I indicated the problems, and he immediately knew what to do. He did his work quickly, and having fixed everything to my satisfaction he was on his way.
Description of Work: Charlie checked the locks I indicated, re-keyed two aging locks, made a total of eight new keys, and then tested the re-keyed locks. He had me check everything myself to verify that everything was working o.k.

+ -1 moreI was referred to A.B.A.C Key and Lock by another locksmith. Charlie came at the appointed time, and replaced the bolt. He also slightly enlarged the strike plate so that the bolt could slide in/out more easily.
Description of Work: Replaced the front door lock bolt.
