They replaced the switch with a new turn and polished the 35-year-old lamp nicely, all in a timely fashion.

Perfect job on the repair, and we love the fixture we bought (they took 10% off because it was the one on display and did not have a box).

They did an adequate job and completed the work quickly, but I felt as though as I was overcharged for the service. Also, they didn't clean the lamps as I had asked them to do.

When I dropped off the lamps, the shop was busy but the lady at the counter took a second to acknowledge me and tell me she'd be right with me, which was nice. They took my lamps, tagged them, and said they'd call me in a week. They didn't, about 2 weeks went by and I ended up calling them. I told them my stub number for the drop-off tag, but the guy on the phone said he couldn't find them and he'd have to call me back. About 30 minutes later a different guy called me back and said he had them and they were ready for pickup. When I picked them up, they looked great, worked great and I was happy overall. So, really, my only snag was that they seem a bit disorganized. Other than that, I was happy with the service and I would recommend them.

QUITE UPSETTING-EXTREMELY RUDE OWNER/MANAGER!! Got a phone call from a friend that I haven't spoken to in years while shopping. Quite happy! Perfectly in the shopping mode for the rooms we are renovating and hoping to be able to fix a couple of our fixtures and don't mind the store being clearly OVERPRICED!! I get charged with this VERY ANGRY gentleman (OWNER/MANAGER: medium sized; white hair) who is yelling at me asking me to get off my phone and get out because there is a single "CUSTOMER WHO IS WAITING FOR ME" since she thinks I work here!!! Loud enough for my friend to hear!! He wouldn't even wait until I ask my friend to hold!! And called "me" RUDE and asks me to leave!! I didn't say a word and left!! Sir! People like you are not worth the fight! You lost my business! You will lose others' businesses simply because you are not able to RESPECT others ... Its not about selling; you simply don't know how to do it; provide a service!! Go ask your only waiting customer "how may I help you ma'am". Also find out why your workers looks quite unhappy!!

They did a fine job. The timing was a bit off, as it took three weeks instead of 7 to 10 days. Sales should mention realistic repair timing. They seem to be busy with many repairs, as it seems to be the only good 'game' in town. Recommend them, but watch out for the timing! Good repairs take time!

I dropped off the lamps at their store, and they promptly called me when they were ready for pick-up. They rewired all 3 of the lights in a timely fashion and their customer service was great!!

They did what they said and gave warranty on the same.

They are great. They know me when I walk in. They are willing to spend time with you. They will let you take your lamp home. If you see something wrong, they will let you point it out. They are very easy to work with.

Mr. Schwartz was very welcoming upon entry into his store. He helped me to get my lamps out of the car and made sure that the tickets were written up right away. While they reported being short-staffed, the turn around time for the repairs was within days rather than a week. The lamps are in great working order. I would absolutely use this company again.

A & O Lamp did a satisfactory job. They fixed the lamps. The people were very nice.

The repair was exactly what was suspected and price was as quoted. The repairman also replaced the felt on the bottom of the lamp, which I did not ask for but he did as favor. I believe the firm provides a quality service for fair price. While waiting for lamp repair I walked around in the store and it is clearly high end lighting and fans. The ceiling fans appeared to be the very best quality, and higher end than a box hardware store. Many lamp shades and lighting accessories were also available. This is quality store. Many customers were bringing in antique lighting and medical equipment for repair while I waited on our lamp.
