I was afraid when I found out that the provider, Home Depot, used a contractor named Rockwood Blinds and Shutters. I could not find the contractor reviewed on the internet. The contractor also was not listed, as far as I could find. with the Better Business Bureau. Nevertheless, the Home Depot I dealt with had knowledgeable people in the Flooring Department and HD also seemed to work seamlessly with Rockwood Blinds and Shutters. Rockwood sent their installer, Justin, over to measure my patio door a few days after I paid for labor and materials up front on Wednesday, June 19, The materials were delivered to my house by another contractor who had knowledge of the business a few business days later. It was perhaps a week after that that Justin came back and hung the blinds. The quality of the blinds and of the labor were quite satisfactory. Could it have been better? Maybe, but probably not. When I bought my townhouse about 7 and a half years ago I had thought I could make do with the vertical blinds that I had been left by the previous owner. Even then they were slightly out of wack but serviceable. But now everything functions according to Hoyle and all the vanes are identical. I paid for cleanliness, aesthetics, a warranty and professional workmanship.
