Cornerstone Roofing & Remodeling

We had our hail damaged roof repaired by Cornerstone Roofing and Remodeling in 2014. The workmanship was outstanding, and the experience was so professional, we were pleased to hire them again to repair hail damage in 2022. They again did a great job! This time replacing the roof (with an awesome warranty) and replacing all the gutters. Jerry and his brother Joe are very professional, completed the repairs quickly and conducted an exceptional cleanup. They worked with the insurance company for some necessary claim adjustments and did not expect payment until all parties agreed. I would highly recommend this contractor for any of your roofing or remodeling projects. They provide high quality work at a fair price with outstanding customer service.

The roof replacement turned out to be a logistical nightmare with the holidays and my schedule for Cornerstone roofing yet they managed to accommodate our needs and had the materials delivered and installed at the agreed upon time. I also had a few other things improved upon while getting the roof replaced and these guys are top notch. This is my second experience getting a roof replaced thanks to hail damage and this is the only company I will call for my roofing needs. They came to me from a referral of a friend and I am so happy they did. Joe did an amazing job as did his crew. He explained everything in great detail and he wasn’t satisfied until I finally understood the process which can be confusing working with the insurance company. When you have projects done on your house two things take place today. 1.) Everything is expensive, from labor to materials. 2.) There are a lot of people who claim to be contractors who claim to have the knowledge but have not been at it very long. The second category can be the most expensive contractors you will ever hire. This was my first time with Cornerstone and when I called, Joe was very polite and professional. He came to my home and went over all the roofs on the property. He then sat down with my wife and I and gave us advice as to what would be the best products to replace the roof with for the best life and performance. We had a bad hailstorm the week before and there was a lot of damage to our house and a lot in our area. I filed the claim and Joe from Cornerstone met the adjuster from the Insurance Company. They went over each building and discussed all the damaged areas and the proposed plan to repair it all. Thanks to our technical assistance from Cornerstone, the Insurance Company agreed with all of the line items and paid the claim in a couple of days. We scheduled the job and the crew arrived at the promised time. The crew was amazing in that everybody knew their job and the roof was bare wood in the few hours. The crew stripped the roof and checked everything before beginning to install the new membrane and shingles. Because the house was built in 1992, the original roof was tired but more importantly, had been laid down on tar paper. The new materials started with a membrane type base material and name brand shingles. On the advice of Joe from Cornerstone, we added ridge vents and drip edges all around to pull heat out of the attic and give that added protection to the edges of the roof. The job was finished on time, as promised, and when the Cornerstone Crew left the yard was properly cleaned up and looked as good as when they started. I have been a Manufacturing Engineer for over forty years and spent a lot of time on facilities projects. These guys all knew their jobs and really got things done quickly but, with amazing skill. The roof looks beautiful and once I get the trim painted plan on having Cornerstone install gutters all around to finish off the project. I am a really fussy customer and these guys really knocked it out of the park. Delighted with my new roof and would be happy to talk to future customers or even have them come and see the job Cornerstone did for me. Delighted to find such a great team of craftsmen in today's uncertain market. I do not write reviews for many companies. These guys really did a GREAT JOB.

Good service. Honest people. I am impressed by the efficiency they did the job. In my case, I signed the contact and got my roof replaced in two days. I like the upgrade they offered and I am satisfied. I like my new roof ( I may not have chosen the best color though).

The crew that came out was courteous and friendly, but also got after it! They were able to remove and replace the roof in one day, so there was no danger of an overnight thunderstorm to cause water issues. When they removed the shingles, they removed it all the way to the wood decking, and didn't leave the old torn tar paper, and replaced it with a newer better tougher product. The roof looks great, and the ridge vent really sets the look of the roof off. Another crew later came out and replaced the seamless gutters in only a few hours. Today, Jerry came back out to collect payment, and there were no surprises. The price was exactly the same despite some tough negotiating he did with the insurance company. In the final analysis, I found Jerry to be honest and upstanding, and he sands behind his company and his product. I would definitely use him again, and would recommend him to anyone needing a quality roof replaced the right way.

Jerry Reyes explained everything in full detail before any work was started. His company only used the best materials on the market! Project was completed as requested and within agreed timeframe. His work crews (lead by Dennis and George) were very professional and it could be seen by my neighbors. His office staff was helpful and quick to return calls or emails throughout the entire process. You should hire them for your next project. Jerry will not let you down.

Roof brought up to code free of charge and Jerry was able to give us other upgrades at discounted price. He is knowledgeable about both the insurance side and production side of the business.

My emails to Cornerstone were not responded too, so I asked to cancel. They finally found my emails in the trash or something.

It was fine. I think so, I would consider using Cornerstone Roofing & Remodeling in the future if need be.

Roofer did not show up during estimated time. Called an hour after time window to say they couldn't make it and would show up the next day. Roofer came, took pictures, and charged $125 for the visit. Said would call back with a quote or with details about starting work. Never called back. Would not recommend.

A call was made on a Tuesday to the roofers since I had a leak on my back porch that had been there for about 2 months. I thought that the new roof would repair it, but after the owner came by and took pictures it was obvious that the chimney had rotted away. He said he could get a team to it either by the end of the week or early teh next week. The team came by on Friday to look over what they would need and started working on Saturday morning. The completely rebuilt the chimney and painted it to match the existing paint. They were done by early afternoon and the job came in at $200 under budget. Very pleased.

After a pretty major hailstorm, EVRYONE was getting their roofs re-done. I called many places and they all said that they would not be able to get to my roof for at least a month or two and most would not be able to get me a quote for a week or two. I called Cornerstone on a Monday morning and that afternoon, I had a 2 people up on my roof getting me a quote. On Tuesday, I received a call asking if we would be ready to have the roof put on the next day! The team arrived right at the time they said the would and completed the job. I am extremely pleased with my roof and it was a better value than the other 2 quotes I received. I HIGHLY recommend Cornerstone to anyone in the area that needs roofing done.

They did a good job but I tried to get them and contact me again because my insurance needs some information and they never contacted me again. The guy is nice, did a good job and is fast, but we could not reach him on the phone when we needed him.
