As always, Brian does the work himself or with a partner. He personally inspects the grass and lets us know if there is any problems to deal with such as over or under watering.

The evaluation was performed while I was away from the house, but it was completed promptly and thoroughly. I decided not to pursue professionally fertilization at this time, but would definitely call them first if I change my mind in the future.

Great! He was so flexible with my schedule and I was able to communicate with him via email and phone - very easy to reach, and friendly and helpful. I did not have to wait around for him - he was happy to come while I was at an appointment. He did a great job, left instructions and analysis. Also left a helpful seasonal watering chart. I will for sure be using this company again and again!

The yard was builder installed and less than a year old. Previous owners had put in a few raised box gardens that are now just yard area only. Some yard sections were browning badly, others were varying shades of yellow-green... with only a little bit of green. There has been persistent ants where the old beds were as well. Following the initial treatment for ants and on the yard 2 months ago, and a revised watering schedule (recommendations provided by Bryan), the yard is already greatly improved. I've had a second treatment today and will continue using the service. It's looking so much better even with the Houston August heat. The cost and labor of a new yard would be awful... I feel this service is money well invested.

I can definitely tell the difference between my yard and others. They are always professional and I never have any hassle with paying for the service. Bryan does the work himself with some help. He shows up, treats the yard as needed, leaves a note/bill, and leaves. We have used them for the last 3 years.

Bryan and his team are great! We see a genuine improvement in our lawn color and thickness & reduced weeds since they started treating our lawn a few months ago. My neighbors have commented that we have one of the best lawns on our street - and that makes me smile! Thank you Lawn of the Month for a job well done! It is nice to have a monthly service where no contract is required but I don't see us cancelling Lawn of the Month any time soon.

About a year ago, our lawn had brown patch and a multitude of weeds. I first contacted Lawn of the Month around the Spring of 2012. They showed up at the agreed upon time, inspected the entire lawn and identified our issues, then treated our lawn that same day for the first time. We were advised that it would take a while to get the lawn into better condition, and we were patient, continuing the services as determined by his scheduling based on our specific needs. At first, we only were having the lawn treated. In the meantime, we ourselves tried to treat scale, mealy bugs, mold on numerous plants, shrubs, and bushes. We got tired of the battle and our poor results. We spent time and money replacing plants and shrubs, only to have the same 'buggy' issue affect the replacements. We finally asked Lawn of the Month to completely take over treating all plants, etc. as well as the lawn treatment. It's one of the best decisions we've ever made. It is now a little over a year since we began our yard treatment, and the difference is amazing. Our lawn is robust and healthy, and we've stopped losing plants to scale, mealy bugs, etc.. Lawn of the Month requires no contract (a big plus) and gives you specific trreatment for your yard. Best of all, each visits provides a written report of what was done to your lawn, bushes, yard treatment for bugs, and tells you exactly how often and how long to run your sprinkler after treatment. The service is truly personalized and very effective. The pricing is right on, and a bargain when the reults produce a healthy yard.

Lawn of the Month has actually not started providing services yet, but I wanted to at least put in a review that could potentially help other members. I contacted Lawn of the Month last weekend to come by and give me an estimate on eliminating my weed problem, and also see why I was getting some yellowing in my lawn. Within that day (Saturday) an email was returned saying they would come by the next week and leave me an estimate on my door. I was impressed because 99% of service providers want you to take time out of your day to meet them. They showed up early in the week and gave me an estimate that was very descriptive of my problem and how they could correct it. The price was fair and the fact that they don't force you into a service contract is great. I have asked them to get started, so as I see results I will update my review!

WOW!! I don't know how he does it! I've used another lawn treatment service in the past and have treated my lawn myself. This Spring I decided to try Lawn of the Month primarily because of the reviews here on Angies List. I know that I've already said it but WOW!! My lawn is now thicker, healthier and far more plush that I could have imagined! It is thick, soft, deep gorgeous green, weed-free.. in only a few months. I seldom write reviews but I really cannot believe the difference and recommend that you give them a try!

He was very good. He called ahead, showed up on time, and did a great job. He was the best I have encountered. He was professional, knowledgeable and very helpful.

I was impressed with every aspect of Bryan's business practices. I was most impressed with his responsiveness to my communications with him. It seemed as if he was responding to my emails only seconds after I pressed the send button on my computer. He was very knowledgeable, professional and punctual. Yet he was was approachable and friendly and I never felt like he talked down to me because of my lack of knowledge. He did not try to up-sell me but provided estimates for optional services that he provided. This was the BY FAR the BEST business transaction I have ever been a part of. It was fast & easy. It was less expensive than other big companies who provide similar services. And I am confident that the results will be better than what I have received using other companies in the past. His website has pictures of other lawns he has treated. I have taken before pictures and will add after pictures to this report to let others know how the treatments work. It was a pleasure working with Bryan and I would highly recommend him to anyone who is wanting help in getting rid of problems with their lawns.

Bryan is very knowledgable about lawn treatment. He provides a detailed report of services performed after each visit. My lawn has never looked better!

I found them on Angie’s List, I read the various reviews, and I didn’t call anybody else. I am quite happy with them, the lawn looks infinitely better than when they started, and they have only been out twice. Their treatment is very effective.

They are punctual and the lawn looks much better than it did last year so whatever they are doing is working. They are good and I am still using them.

I contacted Bryan by email because it seemed like I was paying for monthly treatments. He responded that we are on a seven week schedule. For a year of treatment that will come to $375 which is a little more than the $350 we were expecting, but probably just due to the taxes. Overall I am very happy with the service and the results. Bryan appears to know what to use and when and how much we need to water. My B rating is only because the price seems a little steep for the time it takes to do the job, but I guess we are paying for the expertise as well.

I have been struggling for years to grow healthy lawn on the back and front yards. I replaced the grass sod at least 5 times but every time the grass would be taken over by crabgrass and eventually die. Now I have healthy thick green lawn free from weeds. Of course, it will take a number of treatments to achieve the goal.

Bryan seems to be very knowledgeable. At one point when I saw a weed in my yard that I had not seen before I sent a picture to Bryan via email. He identified the weed and plans to began eradicating on my next treatment in June. It is nice to work with an individual rather than a large comapny that takes care of so many lawns that they are only intrested in quanity rather than quality.

He has done an excellent job at a very affordable rate. My lawn looks tremendously better.

Services provided as contracted. This is the second application. Yard is definitely greener with fewer weeds. So far so good.

I contacted two companies to get a bid and felt that this company gave me more "bang for my buck"

Yard of the Month started in February and after two and a half months the weeds have really been reduced dramatically. I've been really happy with the way the yard has turned out, there is a big difference in the before and after. I would recommend Yard of the Month to friends and family.
