Description of Work: Issues with Kinard Services - owner Gregg Kinard Hired to do electrical and AC for 3 room lake cabin. Upon arrival Greg and his helper gets into an augment over not being paid for work done in prior weeks. The worker quits on the spot and departs. Had to redo/correct the following work that Kinard was paid for: 1. Electrical boxes not installed at the same height 2. AC vents in ceiling not the same size 3. AC vents not sealed in attic, leaking badly 4. Switches are different colors some white some ivory, some off white 5. Light switches were installed wrong locations and at varying heights, one on the window trim. 6. Closet light switch was installed on the outside of closed instead of inside as instructed. And the light was off centered and not positioned to light the entire space. 7. Did not consolidated electrical box outside – left one box inside and one out 8. AC thermostat install above air return, which is not recommend by any AC company. 9. Had to relocate bathroom exhaust fan from over vanity to center of bathroom. 10. Left dangling HOT wires in attic and under the house 11. Installed white can lights instead of brushed nickel color as requested 12. Did not install can lights flush with ceiling, left uneven gaps between rim trim and ceiling 13. Installed standard light switches instead of flat to match other dimer switches 14. Did not provide Luxaire AC warranty or instruction package. Greg said he would provide if I used him on phase 2 work 15. Drilled 5 and 6 inch holes in the floor where only 2 or 3 inch holes should have been drilled On Sunday June 25th provided cc for payment for Rough In work. Gregg said it was declined, and requested a check, so I wrote a check. When I contacted Credit Card Company I learned the card had not been declined. Greg hit the cc and cashed the check too. Then filed lean for $3,700 as well. Hired AAA Electric, owner David Thompson to fix issues listed above. David finds even more electrical issues not done per code nor best practice overall. The hot wires left under house and in attic was a huge fire potential.
