Description of Work: Extremely impressed. Used the $99.00 special to have 2 hours of work done and these guys were fabulous! I had previously gotten an estimate from an "advertised" electrical company and was told it would be $400.00 to get the lights back on in one of my rooms and over $4,000.00 to re-do my electrical box. They didn't even look in the attic, just checked out the basics. 3XM came in, fixed the electrical issue in the back room (which was in the attic) and told me there was nothing wrong with my electrical box, IF we wanted to have it changed out it would only cost about $800.00. They were so professional I had them install a security light outside for an additional $100.00 (he still had time on the clock from the two hours special and included that time in the charge). They will forever be the people I call if I need electrical work done.

Description of Work: I am selling my mother's house and some of the wiring in the fuse box is outdated and couldn't pass inspection. Not knowing anyone from that area, I found the electrican on Angie List. He had to add fuses to the box and reroute some of the old wiring to make it safe and pass inspection.

Description of Work: We had him install dimmers on 5 of our lights ( we provided the dimmers), remove 4 brass sconces and install 4 new bronze wall sconces. He also moved an electrical plug and cable to the middle of our wall so we could ( later) mount the 65 inch flatscreen TV on the wall. He was very nice, professional, and worked quickly and cleanly. He didn't say that certain things "can't be done", he just used his intelligence and did them! He has built his own house before so he knows other trades. This made me even more confident in his abilities.

Description of Work: I contacted this company to get a bid/estimate on installing 3 recessed lights in out master bedroom. After briefly speaking about the work we wanted done, Bill said he was busy and asked if he could call me back in a couple hours. I am still waiting on that call from 3 days ago. He sounded nice on the phone and I am sure he does good work but I will not consider using him again due to this. I am in sales and it is beyond my comprehension how someone that owns their own business can be okay with not following up on potential work/clients. It must be nice that he is that busy and doesn't need the work! I am not sure if it is because my job was too small or if it was because I mentioned the Angie's list coupon? Either way, it is disappointing to not get the courtesy of a returned phone call.

Description of Work: What a great find! Bill installed four new pendant lights for me. He was professional, timely in both arrival and work and completed the work was exactly what I needed. He was clear on the phone approximately how long it would take, his fee and what time he would arrive. One of those few "good guys" out there!

Description of Work: 3XM was hired to add a whole house surge protector, locate the reason the spot lights were not working and to fix the frayed wiring at the main breaker box.

Description of Work: Bill installed a new dining chandelier to center over my dining table. As a result he had to add another electrical box.

Description of Work: I had 2 ceiling fans with light kits that were not working properly. I had tried to repair them myself with no luck. I needed a professional to come and check the wiring and get the fans and lights working again.

Description of Work: He figured out the problem with an outdoor switch we had already replaced, he swapped out a dimmer switch for a toggle switch, and figured out why one of my low-voltage lights had quit working. I think he only used an hour to do all of it, but that's all I needed done.

Description of Work: Had problems with electical switched in kitchen and dining areas. Found problem and quickly and profressionally fixed all issues. I was impressed. Will do business with again.

Description of Work: I paid for two hours of electrical services. He came and replaced several ballasts on my fluorescent lighting and replaced the lights that no longer worked. He also replaced a grounding nut and colored some electrical wires for me.

Description of Work: Technician was very helpful and did an excellent job.
