Soukup Roofing

I met with Joshua who intially came out and looked at what work needed to be completed. He was totally professional and explain the work that would be done. Took pictures and alleviated any fears I had concerning everything. Any additional questions during the process and even afterwards Joshua took time to advise me. I was VERY pleased with the work.

Everything was done on time and well done. Mr. Soukup was professional and friendly to work with as was his employees. A close friend had Mr. Soukup do roof work and replace large patio cover on the back of her home in 2014. She was very pleased with how things went. We will definitely use Mr. Soukup and/or his firm for future roof replacements. I am posting this now because I was not a member of Angie's List back then and I received an email today asking if I had ever had work done by Mr. Soukup.

Mr. Soukup himself returned to give me the estimate and I have never been treated better by a service provider. He was kind and respectful as were all of his employees. I was always told in advance when and what to expect and was always contacted immediately if anything unusual arose. They went above and beyond my expectations for services and even did a tremendous job of matching the existing paint color on the outside of the house. All roofing is expensive, but Soukup was no more expensive than any other roofing company I contacted. The service and treatment I received would prompt me to pay even more if they had asked. Even the company they subcontracted with to do the interior repairs was exceptional. I will not hesitate to call them again if I am in need of service, but I don't know if I will. It has rained several times since the new roof was put in and no signs of water anywhere.

Had leaks around several vent pipes, attic was getting wet. Soukup came out, gave an estimate and did the work. No more leaks! Small company, family-owned, thus not as responsive as I would like. They are honest, however, do superb work and charge a fair price and are thus worth the wait.

The team showed up when they said they would, they removed the old roof in a day, they replaced the old vents, added the new roof and fixed the chiney replacing it with hardy plank. Very professional. They had one of their workers come out after the old roof was removed and once the work was done with a maganet to find any old nails. If I needed my roof replaced again, I would call them first.

Outstanding workmanship. Took a while to get on their schedule but were easy to work with. They removed old roof and cleaned up after the job.

Punctual, professional and nice people. Owner stopped out himself to make sure everything was ok, this is a very good contractor.

I applaud this company for getting the job done right! I had a previous company attempt to repair this problem but to no avail. This company is honest and committed to making their customers happy with the results. When I need a new roof, I'll be looking to this business.

This company is fantastic. Courteous, timely and honest. He even found another moisture issue on the back of my patio that was bringing water into my house. Absolutely the best contractor I ever done business with!

The crew arrived on time. They were professional and courteous. They repaired some trim work for me at no charge. They completed the roof replacement withing 1 day. They also had a person dedicated to cleanup and he probably worked harder than the guys doing to roof work keeping up with the cleanup as they went along. When they were done you could never tell that any work had been done except for the beautiful new roof that we now have. We are extremely please with the work and would recommend them to anyone.

Really good quality people and they were really dilagent. They did the job right and cleaned everything up. They came recommended from our insurance company and were under insurance cost.

Called and immediately had appointment setup for review of roof. The gentleman, Joshua, at first could not make the first appointment because of sick child but he immediately contacted me and established another appointment which he came out promptly. He reviewed all the areas and gave me his assessment and I signed the contract on the spot. I thought the timeframe and pricing were reasonable as i had had roof work done before. He also fixed a few very easy things, on the spot, for me to stop some of the water in case it rained again before his crew came out. The crew was out on the assigned date and got the work done without issues. Soukup roofing then billed me about week later via mailed invoice. I was pleased with the overall efficiency of the company and the work looked to be done to well. I have not seen water coming through during rain.

Estimatior was professional and courteous. The warranty was less than the contractor I choose; otherwise I would have chosen Soukup.

From initial contact through final inspection, this was a positive experience. Within 1 day of referral from my insurance company, I was contacted by the company to schedule the initial assessment appointment. The estimator arrived promptly on schedule and provided me a thorough estimate by email within 2 days. On the day of the job, the crew arrived promptly and proceeded to remove the old, damaged shingles. They installed new dimensional shingles and associated flashing. On the first day, they worked for over 10 hours. They finished up after about 5 hours of work on the second day. Throughout the work, one member of the crew was on the ground, continuously using a magnet to collect errand roofing nails. The following Wednesday, another crew member did an additional magnet search to find additional nails. Following that, yet another person arrived to do the actual roofing inspection.

Mr. Soukup checked our roof for us and said we could probably get maybe 5 or so more years out of it, but we were in the middle of new siding, so now seemed like a good time to take care of it. He was going to be replacing the drip line once Southwest Exteriors finished, so we asked him to bid on a new roof. He showed us several options, including one that was the higher quality but was on sale (it was being discontinued), so that one was the winner. Besides, it was the right color, so perfect! Anyway, he had his crew out a few weeks later and in two days, we had a new roof! Excellent company - reliable, responsive, and careful with your property - I would highly recommend them.

Outstanding experience. First visited with Steve Soukoup who personally inspected the roof and compared with the report provided by the insurance company. Agreement was reached along with scheduling. Crew showed up just as scheduled and bright and early not usual contractor starting time of 9:30. The crew worked steadedly for two and one-half days. They were careful not to block access to the house and cleaned up each day. A few days after completion another of their employees arrived to inspect the job for quality and completeness. A few days later another of their employees showed up to inspect our grounds to insure there was no damage and that all was left as it should have been. This included using a magnet to pickup any remaining nails. Then just last week another of their employees showed up to paint some vent caps that had not been finished. We were unaware this work needed to be done. This company is so diligent and so responsible that our insurance company will guarantee their workmanship. That is very uncommon. We just cannot recommend Soukup strongly enough.

Good work, workers knew what they were doing.

They were amazingly good. There was nothing bad at all. They sent us a satisfaction survey at the end. They were really good. They did the work when they said they would.

It was very reasonable. They were very thorough and looked through everything. They were honest and told me I didn’t need to pay for unnecessary repairs. The roof was in fine shape, so we didn’t need to use them for anything. He also told us about some hail damage we had to one of our skylights. He told us about a place we could replace it for a discounted price, which was very nice.

Being that they are such a reputable company, they are a bit backed up with work so just a few more weeks until the roof gets put on. I believe they are worth the wait. I work in Real Estate and was impressed by the work they have done for some of my clients.

On the scheduled repair date, a man with a large empty trailer arrived at my home earlier than expected. When I went out to talk with him, I discovered he only spoke Spanish, which I don't speak. He said he came from the roofer I was expecting to arrive. I called the office and spoke to a member of the office staff. She said she would call Tony, my scheduled roofer to find out what happened. She called me back to say the dispatcher had sent the man at my house because Tony was completing a job from the day before. She told me Tony would be at my home later that morning. When he didn't arrive, I called again. I was told another roofer would be at my house by 2:00pm. This roofer arrived, got to work, and finished the repair in less than 2 hours. His crew cleaned up the area where they worked. The roofer told me the company would be send me a bill for the work. We have experience high winds and rain, several times, since then, and there is no leak.
