+ -1 moreWork was acceptable. Difficult to get phone calls returned. One plant died immediately and we have in writing that all plants were guaranteed for one year. It was decided to wait out the Fall and Winter to see if more plants were healthy...or not. In Spring I started calling about the dead plants...very hard to get calls returned, finally reached Rick LaField who said that he would take care of dead plants and he made some suggestions for replacements for me to think about. I called back in one week and it took two more weeks to finally "catch" him on his cell phone. At that point he said "I just talked to you last friday". This was not true and when challenged he started arguing and then we were "disconnected". This happened around the first week of April and have not heard from him since. I went out and bought new plants and replaced them myself. I would not recommend him nor would I use his company again.
Description of Work: Old garden removed in June 2009. In September 2009 revised landscape and hardscape plan to a more pleasing form that was acceptable. Did the work as contracted to do. Returned to improve one minor problem. Made it clear that all plants were guaranteed for one year. During the course of acceptable work, phone calls were not returned in a timely fashion. In the initial planning stages I was overwhelmed by a hugh and costly proposal. Took some doing to come to an agreement, but finally after actually listening to my suggestions we arrived at an acceptable plan.
