Grizzly Fence and Patio

Reached out to Grizzly Fence in Feb to repair a blown down vinyl fence panel due to an unstable post left of panel. Vinyl panel was put back in place and he claimed that post was reset. 2 days later the same panel fell down and he sent someone to put panel in place with brackets but same post and panel still swaying. We reached out to him again asking for a permanent solution to stabilize the post. No response. Panel came down again. Both my husband and I reached out in text, left a message on his phone, on next door app and his Facebook, still no response. Do not recommend.

JASON CHILDREES (OWNER) of GRIZZLY FENCE AND PATION installed a new gate due to an "alignment" issue with the existing gate in JUNE, 2018. He was PAID ON FULL on 6/4/18 on my Mastercard. The price of $315.00 included a FIVE YEAR WARRANTY ON ALL PARTS AND LABOR including FIVE YEAR WARRANTY on ANY ADJUSTMENTS NEEDED. Within 60 days the NEW gate already needed an alignment. After several calls and approximately two weeks Mr. Childress came out and successfully adjusted the NEW gate back into alignment. Unfortunately, during this time it was made clear that Mr. Childress was not happy to come out since it took REPEATED CALLS as well as him repeatedly saying "I'm not making any money on this". Unfortunately, I had to call Mr. Childress again on 5/27/19 for another "gate adjustment" since the NEW gate would not open and close properly. As before, it took numerous phone calls with him now repeatedly saying "be patient, I'll get to it when I have time". After 3 weeks he finally came out and drove a stake into one of the gate posts and told me "this was a cheap fix and probably wouldn't work". He was correct, after ONE day the gate wouldn't open and close AGAIN. After NUMEROUS calls AGAIN, he said the same thing, "I'll get to it when I can but to BE PATIENT". After two weeks he came out and "reset" one of the gate posts in concrete. That "fix" lasted ONE DAY again. It's now been almost THREE MONTHS since 5/27/19 with the gate still not opening and closing properly and constantly listening to Mr. Childress say "I'll get to it when I can and to STOP CALLNG HIM", even though I have never called him more than ONCE A WEEK. The bottom line, he won't live up to the contract of a FIVE YEAR WARRANTY ON GATE ADJUSTMENTS and so I have given up on his ability to fix such a simple problem correctly.

Jason was very professional, friendly and extremely accommodating. I had already received 3 other quotes from other fencing companies, which were all considerably more than Jason's quote. Jason initially gave a quote per linear footage via text based on the materials I requested (8ft x 5.5in cedar pickets, 2x6 pressure treated kicker, 2x6 cedar cap, 2x4 pressure treated rails, 2 3/8" steel post and water treatment.) This was pretty straight forward, which helped relieve a lot of anxiety I had about the entire process, making me wish I had made the call sooner. Once he arrived and measured the area, he stayed true to his initial linear quote, which was very competitive, in fact, better than all other quotes I had received. Ironically, it rained both days we had scheduled to do the job, as well as all through the weekend. Although it rained, Jason and his crew worked tirelessly each day, completing what they could with risking safety. Knowing I had big dogs that were being confined to the house, as long as the fence was down, Jason even came out on Sunday by himself, to put up a temporary fence, until the rain subsided. Once it stopped raining, Monday they were able to complete the job very quickly. The previous owner of the house had planted a two trees right up next to the front fence facing the street. Jason actually moved the fence out a couple of feet closer to the street so the trees would not be pushing over the fence. He also cut off a branch at my request to allow enough room for the 8ft fence on the gate side. Jason and his team are very hard workers and get the job quickly, professionally and the quality is unsurpassed. This is the fence I always wanted, but thought I could never afford. My fence has only been up 2 days and I have already had 3 people in my neighborhood stop to inquire about the contractor and price. I highly recommend Grizzly Fence and Patio. I was not disappointed. In fact, I am having my back deck replaced later this year and I already know, I will be calling Jason first! Don’t hesitate.. Get some quotes and then contact Jason.
