Family Owned Restoration

We had water come into our townhouse due to all the flooding in DFW these past few weeks. Shane came out to inspect our damaged floor on a Sunday evening and was able to come and pull it out the damaged area and started the drying process Monday. We loved his quick response - it saved us money and more issues had the water sat a few more days.

It was reasonable. I'd use them again.

A copper pipe in my wall burst a small hole near the slab while I was out of town traveling. I came home to a first floor soaked with water -- with the water getting under my hardwood floor and also seeping into the carpeting. Pretty much the entire first floor of my house had water damage and I had no clue what to do other than to get help fast! I talked to a few friends and they recommended I call Shane at Family Owned Restoration. I was able to reach Shane, explained the emergency and WITHIN THE HOUR he was at my house assessing the damage. It turns out we needed to stop the leak, remove the water and salvage as much of the floor and carpet as we could. Shane referred a top-notch plumber who worked on the wall leak while Shane and Family Owned Restoration provided state-of-the-art fans and water removal equipment to start the drying process. In short the process turned out to be a week long with Shane and Angie moving fans, checking for wet/dry spots and diligently monitoring progress. They treated this crisis as if it were their own and were extremely helpful and dedicated to getting the job done right. They kept me from panic mode by providing professional service and care. When all was said and done Family Owned Restoration completed the job with success and in a very cost-effective manner. They always explained what work needed to be done and asked for my approval before they started anything. I'd never had water damage before (thankfully) so I had to find a trust-worthy professional to identify the issues and recommend solutions to remedy the mess. Family Owned Restoration completely exceeded my expectations and provided me a complete solution to fix the damage. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM!

They arrived on time and cleaned the carpet. I was afraid I was going to have to replace the carpet in the house but to my sruprise the carpet looked great when they finished. Both Angie and Shane came on a holiday weekend and cleaned the carpet. They also cleaned corners and along the baseboards. When they were finished it looked new and I was told he would probably last another 5 years. Their crew came two days later and cleaned the carpet in the duplex I was moving out of. It also looked new when they finished.
