 + -1 moreRepairs were excellent. He came out to our house and said our stove needed a new controller. He called Frigidaire and he told me that the part would be about $200 and he billed me $280 for the part plus a $30 instillation charge plus a $45 dollar service call when he came out to give me an estimate and when come out to install it.
Description of Work: Repalced the control pannel on our electric stove. It tool about 15 minutes to install it.

 + -1 moreNeither of our two phone calls were returned. Representative we spoke with the first time said we'd be called back, we were not. The second representative we spoke with could not locate our original work order request. Did not receive a call back regarding that conversation either. We went with an other large appliance repair service that gave excellent service.

 + -1 moreHe showed up within two hours. He thoroughly examined the dryer even though he found out right away that the trouble was in the propane supply. He switched the propane tanks and the dryer worked! I appreciate the inspection and I am confident that there is nothing more wrong with the dryer.

 + -1 moreA year earlier he had charged over $500 (what now appears misdiagnosis/misrepair on this same 'fridge. Now, frustrated I told him I was going to order a new one. (5 day wait for it). Before it was delivered, Perez called offering to pay me for him haul away the old one. I got suspicious and reconnected it and now a year later it works fine. Perez used to have a good reputation but I think, and my neighbors do,that he is preparing to retire. We are happy to let him do that.
Description of Work: 2 service calls 6/8 & 8/30 Refrigerator/freezer over "Freezing". Vaseline to door seals and hairdryer to melt ice! Not interested to find out the cause.

Description of Work: Washing machine went out. What're you going to do? I called Mr. Perez on a Monday morning, and he was here an hour and a half later. And done in thirty minutes! The problem was the first thing he checked, a switch, but I wouldn't have known to check that. He was professional, friendly, and obviously knew what he was doing. I was a little surprised by the price, but it was worth it.

Description of Work: We used H A Perez Repair Service to repair a gas top for us a Jenn air. The cleaning lady reported that it just didn't feel right to her something didn't seem right so we called him out to bring him out and he found a gas leak at the valve which is the valves that turn on each burner. So he immediately shut off the gas and said that he could fix a lot of things but this is one thing that's better for him not to fix it. If this is going bad and you are going to have more problems and I don't want to take your money.

 + -1 moreA lifelong resident of the area had recommended him. He knew what he was doing and got the job done.
Description of Work: He repaired our Kenmore Elite washer and dryer, our backup Kenmore Dryer and our Jenn Aire gas cooktop for $440. No service contracts. Fast service. On Monday, the Elites were repaired, the same day we called him! (part of the drum support on the washer and the heating element and top limit on the dryer). He had to order parts for the second dryer (heating element) and cooktop (electronic ignitors), but they were repaired by Wednesday. He was the second person we had called to look at the Elite dryer and cooktop. The first guy, who works for the service department of a store in McAllen, told us they weren't worth fixing.
