Description of Work: My a/c unit outside was clicking. Kane's was contacted from my house insurance company. I'm a single mother who work night shifts. One technician showed up at my door without anything identifying him with an old t shirt and and jeans saying he needed to come inside my home to see the A/c unit. I asked him if he was from Kane's and he said yes. I still couldn't see the truck with the business name. I told him the clicking was outside and not inside and he still said that he needed to see the ac unit inside. I still didn't let him in because of some burglaries cases that have been happening in our tri-town area. I followed him to the ac area on the side of the house where another guy (this one with Kane's shirt on). This one said the same, that I needed to let the other guy come inside to check the unit, however the we're already working on the outside unit. The one with the business shirt was telling the technician who came to my door how to do something with the unit. So it was easy to deduct the one without uniform was an apprentice. They ask me to turn on the unit and lower the temperature. I did. This whole time, still no one has giving me a name, but their truck was blocking my driveway an it has the company logo. I asked if he still needed to go inside without an answer. Then, I told the guy that appear in charge if I can give him the copay check so that I can go back to sleep. I have to work night shift. The problem ended up being some loose screws, nothing to do with the unit itself. While the guy that appear on charge was writing my receipt, I said I hope the other guy didn't get upset because I didn't let him in the house, but it he needs to go inside, he can go. The guy that appear in charge replied "no, is too late, you already hinder our time". I repeated again, if he needs to go inside to check the unit he can go. The reply was the same. All of this while the apprentice was still tighting the bolts of the unit. I asked them before they took off to put my trash can back in place, because they has thrown it on the grass and it was sideway. The guy in charge laugh sarcastically and told the apprentice to go. They didn't even work on the unit five minutes. Took my copay money, and ran.

Description of Work: Excellent work. They were honest, told us exactly what we needed and what we didn't need. Helped us with our warranty and saved even more money. They have the customer in mind. I would use them again in a heartbeat.

Description of Work: Air Conditioner quit running. A/C was repaired by replacing a fuse.
