Terrible attitude, rudeness, will never use again. Harassed for payments (I paid far more than worth), most of trees planted are diseased. Spent way too much for the attitude and overcharging.

First, I noticed the concrete work very rough and not smoothed out. I complained and said it was too rough because the rocks were sticking up. The work wasn't completed until 5 PM, December 24th. He retorted that he didn't want anyone to "fall down" on a smooth and slippery surface. However, he was mixing the concrete manually and didn't even have a mixer. On the side, he splashed concrete over the decorator stones. When I insisted the owner come out see the work, he remarked that I could probably use a wire brush to remove it. When he told me that, I thought he meant that a worker was going to come by, but that never happened. The Red Oak that they planted ended up being 15 inches too deep. I thought it looked kind suspicious when the landscape material was wrapped tight around the tree trunk. In fact, I had to convince them to use the soil I provided for the health of the tree. The way they originally left it would have killed the tree within 2 to 3 years. When I asked about it, he said the reason was because I requested a mounded flower bed. While I did want that, I wanted to work within it to be professionally done. For the flower bed, I offered him a picture of what I wanted. He did not take it or use the plants that he listed. He used native dirt with rocks in it the size of a saucer, telling me that the native plants needed to be planted in native soil. However, he planted everything in the mulch and not in the dirt. I called them a couple times after the project was completed to address my concerns. I gave ample time between each call. He finally came out many weeks later and agreed to bring the flower bed dirt at a later date. At this time, he's still not fulfilled that promise. My natural mulch driveway I had requested was fulfilled using material that I could have picked up for free at my recycling center by showing my water bill. After two phone calls and over a month of waiting, he finally delivered the mulch that he had promised. Throughout the whole project, the only thing that I liked was the two trees. Also, the workers were respectful, friendly and nice. However, even when they were my grass, the weed eater stripped the bark off a 4 foot oak tree, all the way around. To this day, I'm still praying that the tree survives.
Description of Work: He was hired to do landscaping for me and do the follow as itemized: A mounded red oak bed with weed barrier (stapled in place) applied a thick layer Texas hardwood mulch, and planted 2 bi-colored iris (5 gallon), Red Oak Tree (45 gallon). $795 2 limestone boulders in bed ($750) Concrete area 58' sq feet ($585). Using existing hole on right side of drive way planted oak tree: $500 (the holes pre-dug using the company that brought soil). Created mounded bed by right side of property by street which contained another weed barrier stapled in place. Planted 2 bicolored iris (5 gallon), 1 red yucca (5 gallon). Placed 2 limestone boulders ($345). I asked them to make a drive area that looked natural (with mulch) for more parking. Using bulk mulch, brought in a dump truck, created parking in front of home to left of mailbox. Vegetation to be spraid with weed killer and then removed ($450). Work to be done by end of day Christmas Eve.

They charged 900 to remove a metal shed. They were supposed to do a French drain but instead he said they would still the land to guide the water away. They tore up a lot of ground. They left the mounds of dirt they dug up right next to the ditch. My driveway had tire marks and dirt (clay) marks all over. When I asked the owner about the mounds of dirt he said that it wasn't part of tge price for him to remove it. He did say that for 400 he would lay sod! I asked him to clean up my driveway but he refused stating that the coming rain would wash it out. It didn't! It stayed there for over four months. What did wash away wasthe mounds of dirt he refused to clean up. They went right into the ditch he charged me so much for.
Description of Work: They removed a shed. They dug a ditch around my garage to get the water from flooding it when it rained.

These people are a complete ripoff. They avoided our calls every chance they got. They would tell us that the tree died because we chose NOT to take care of it.Please stay away from this company!
Description of Work: Central Texas Landscape company is a complete rip off. We were charged over $4000.00 to have a three of trees planted and to have some plants put in. Each tree costs us $500.00 a piece and both died. They refused to replace them and never staked the trees to the ground. The live oak that was planted was leaning to the side and finally they came out to straighten it out. When I got home it was still leaning. Working with them was a complete nightmare. They want half the money up front. Do not use these people.

I didn't use their services. They are quite expensive. They were professional about everything. They came out on time.
Description of Work: Central Texas Lawncare and Landscaping gave me an estimate of $20,000 to lawn work, landscaping, siding and lawn irrigation. I had to pay them a deposit to come out, the estimate was not free.

I had used this company in the past to install a drain system around my house. I liked their work, and when it came time to have my pool removed I called them for an estimate. They were not the cheapest estimate, but they did provide me with a written estimate and promised to fix any drains that were damaged when they removed the pool. They started the job on the day they promised to, and finished early. I had a couple of spots that need to be looked at, and Larry came out to review and has fixed these right away.I have had a great experience with this company, and plan to use them to do some landscaping in my front yard real soon.I also plan to have some extensive decking and hot tub in the back yard and will call them to do this work as well.
Description of Work: Demolish in-ground pool. Had used in the past to install drainage around my house

A year later we hired a gentleman that works for the Killeen parks and services and he cfharged us half of the amount CENTRAL TEXAS LAWNCARE & LANDSCAPING charged us.This gentleman planted four 20 gallon trees and over 40 types of bushes and ground cover and up to now only one bush has died.
Description of Work: This landscaping company was hired to plant 3 trees and some ground cover. Two of the 20 gallon trees died and were never replaced. They refused to replace because they said it was our fault they had died due to poor maintenance. Why would we neglect two four hundred dollar trees yet continue to care for the third tree and the ground cover?Anyways when we contacted the company they would say that someone would come by and see the trees to determine if it was our fault or the trees had been sold already in poor shape. No one ever showed up and they stopped anawering our phone calls.

They were very courteous and very candid. They told me what they thought it would need, then told me exactly what it would need. They were also very understanding. Within 6 hours I had a new front lawn. They did an excellent job. He even knew the right grass to put in.
