From the time that Ronnie came out to do the estmate to the time the crew drove away was a great experience. I feel that the guys on the crew went above and beyond to make sure that my dog would be safe and not able to get out of the fence. I am extremely happy with the job that was done.

I called A-1 to make an appointment for an estimate. 3 days later they showed up on time and gave us the estimate with details about payment. They said that if we chose them, as soon as we paid half down, we would get on the schedule. We went to their shop to pay within a week, and we're put on the schedule for 3 weeks later. I think that's normal this time of year. Three weeks later, on a Friday, they showed up on the day we scheduled at 9:00 a.m. on the dot, introduced themselves and went straight to work. By noon, all of my old fence was gone, all of the new post holes were dug, and new posts set with concrete. They set over the weekend. The following Monday they were here again right at 9:00 a.m. And put up all the cedar fencing and gate. They were finished again around noon. We paid the remainder of our bill and it was done. They didn't leave a mess at all, we're punctual and efficient and left a number on completion to call if there were any problems. I would highly recommend this team!

Three panels on my old wood privacy fence blew down from the wind. I called to get an estimate for repair, and also to replace the whole back portion of my fence. Ronnie came out and gave me three different estimates, one for repair, one for replacement using steel poles, and one for replacement using wood poles. In the end, we decided to just replace the whole back portion with using steel poles. The guys came out to take out the old fence, and put in all the poles. Two days later, they were back and finished the fence by noon. I was pleasantly surprised that it was done so quick and with such quality. I highly recommend these guys!!

well, i wanted a quote for a new wooden privacy fence so i called them for an estimate. Scott and Ronnie came out. We got to talking and they "suggested" not recommended, a longer-lasting better fence. I looked into it and decided that is what i want. After confirming that is what i wanted, they put me on their books. It only took a week or two and they were here. When they finished they cleaned up so well, i couldn't even tell they were here. Since having the work done, they have been more than willing to come out to answer questions i had. (Not about their work, about additional work) i will recommend them to anyone i can.

The whole process went very smooth, we were given a start day, they came and set the poles, was told they would come install the fence two days later. Workers was prompt and courteous, fence install went great. After installing fence workers did an outsta nding job of cleaning up. Scott made sure we were completely satisfied before receiving payment, told us if we had any concerns to give him a call and he would address them. About three weeks later we decided to have the wrought iron installed, again every was done in an orderly manner, job was completed in three days as quoted. Again great care was shown to make sure we were completely satisfied with work and clean up was excellent. Any other fencing needs I have, I will definitely call A-1. GREAT JOB

We have wrought iron gates connecting our brick fence. One gate's hinges had rusted and the gate was completely off its hinges. The other gate would not latch properly, because the brick fence had shifted and the latch did not line up correctly. A-1 came out immediately, gave me a quote, and then I scheduled the service. They performed exactly what we needed, and our gates work perfectly!

Work crew arrived and set new posts, informed me that they would allow a day or two for the cement to cure. Returned 2 days later and had the new fencing installed with 3 hours, cleaned up the work area, had me inspectthe work completed, and departed. The crew were clean, courteous and professional, being polite and respectful in all aspects. I highly recommend A-1 Fencing to anyone who is contemplating a fencing project..

This was our 3d fence in 11 years, the first my husband placed, it lasted 8 years, the second a fly by night "family business" put up and 2 years later it was leaning over. Ronnie showed us part of the fence was only 2 feet in the ground, no wonder it did n't hold up. So we paid not too much more for an all metal fence, it matches our grey brick home, it looks great.

It is great. I would recommend them to anyone. Its a litte pricey but you get what you pay for. People stop by and ask me about my fence all the time. It was well worth the money. They hauled away the old fence as well. They were done in 3 days.

This company has excellent products and service. I could not have found a better company to replace my old wooden fence...Their attention to detail, outstanding work quality and unprecedented work ethic is refreshing. The owner took the time to explain the information , process, cost and time factors to me several times to be sure I understood everything to my satisfaction. The price was worth every single dollar for the security and beauty of the product as it enhances my sense of safety and enjoyment of my home and yard. They had been fantastic. Everything they said they were going to do they did. They did an outstanding job. If they said, they were going to be here they were here. They came and checked on the progress of the other work because some parts of it had to be done before they could come. They had just been great. Their price was good. On the fence itself, I received three different estimates and their price was the best. In addition, I felt comfortable working with them. My project was a big project. They had been so good to work with. Without a doubt, if I have any other services in the future I would call them. The fence I got have forty-five months insurance guarantee.

On June 5, 2012 - the day the work was scheduled to start, I had not heard from the company. I called them around ten AM, after no one showed up. The lady who answered the phone kept talking to someone in the background, and I was told that they were running late on a job and would not make it to my residence until later in the afternoon - if they were able to get to it at all that day . I was a little unhappy with that because I believe they should have called to let me know what was going on. About an hour later, I received a call from the same lady and she said their crew was on the way. They started work around noon on June 5th, 2012 and were here for about four hours.They removed the old fencing, dug the holes and set 5 new metal posts in concrete. They said they would be back in two days to install the new fencing with the gates. An underground sprinkler pipe was cut into while digging the holes for the new fencing posts. The company does not take any responsibility for damages of this kind, which appears in writing on the contract. Be advised that it is the homeowners reponsibility to identify and accurately mark any underground pipes or wires before the work starts. On June 7, 2012 no one showed up to complete the work at my residence. After not hearing from them around 11 AM, my wife called the company to check on it. The lady that answered the phone told her that their crew was "out" but the lady didn't know what job they were working on. After no one showed up by about 5 PM, my wife called the company again. She was told that the work for the day was slowed down because of weather. I watched the weather radar closely that day and if we had any rain in this area at all - it was light and spotty. We did not have a drop of rain at my residence. The lady said that someone would call us the next morning to let us know what is going on. At around 9 AM on Friday June 8, 2012, I received a call from the company. The lady said their crew was getting ready to leave the shop to work on two jobs in Belton-Temple - finishing the work at my residence being one of them. She could not tell me when to expect them to arrive at my residence.. The crew arrived at my residence at about 1045 on June 8, 2012 and started work intsalling the new section of fence and the 2 gates. The work was completed at 1245 PM. I believe the company needs to improve in regard to the scheduling, job progress tracking and communications with the customers. It is their responsibility to keep the customers informed about schedule changes. I got the feeling that my job was a low priority "sideline activity" for them. I realize this was a small job by their standards but when I am paying a premium price for their services I expect to be treated better than I was on this occasion. With that said - I am well pleased with the quality of the new fence and the gates that were installed.

Overall it was great. From the estirmate to the install, everything went as scheduled.

They did a good job. There were some weather delays, but they called and apologized. I have been pleased with their service.

Overall, the experience went very well. When they initially fixed the dog fence, our dog got out. I called them and they sent out a technician came out the same day to repair the fence. It was excellent!

Saw thier sign on a fence, rode around town ands looked at other fences with other companies name. I compared the quality of work and was impressed with the workmanship of A1. I called them, they came out, gave me a bid and we agreed on a price. They began construction in about two weeks and promptly finished the job much to our satisfaction. We would recommend Ronnie & Scott to anyone considering having a fence built.

Aside from some weather restrictions, everything was completed in a timely manner and to a high degree of professionalism. The results of the job look great. I am completely satisfied. I have already received compliments from passers by on the fence. I would use this company again. A1 seems to have a constant flow of clientele so be prepared to wait at least a few weeks between estimate and actual start time on the job.

It was fine, they were very cordial, nice and professional. They came out the day after I requested the quote and they were very friendly. They were just mroe expensive than I was willing to spend.

These folks provide excellent communication from start to finish. The estimate they provided was right on the mark, no hidden costs or things they hadn't thought of. My final bill was actually a bit cheaper than the estimate. They are also very friendly and punctual. Both of these jobs were completed quickly with superior workmanship. I would highly recommend this company-quality service at resonable rates!!!

We decided to install a fence around our pool and we investigated several kinds and styles of pool fencing, trying to make sure we were within the city code for requirements. Among the estimates we got, which were many, A1 Fence and Welding were the most knowledgeable and professional. They did not hesitate to drive 30 miles to come see us, not once, but twice. Ronnie gave us a reasonable estimate, spent a lot of time with us and was always easy to reach by phone during the selection process. He did not get impatient with us when working out the details. They installed the fence exactly as scheduled and then went out of their way to make sure things were cleaned up when they left. Scott even went to the trouble to send me pictures, since I couldn't be there to see it. We were very pleased with their work. They kept their promises and did a great job on our beautiful fence. They are rated A+ with the BBB.

I had a relatively new concept done at my home. After looking around I found A-1 Fence & Welding Co. When Ronnie and company owner Scott came to my house to give me an estimate on just a wood privacy fence, they introduced me to a maintenance free wood alternative called metal privacy fence. I had never heard of it and I was quickly hooked. Yes it's more expensive now, but it comes with a 45 year warranty. So ir you spend $1,500 (cheap) on a wood fence, plus say $500/year to keep it in good shape, and need to replace it every 15 years, this $5,000 fence is actually cheaper and you don't need to do ANY upkeep on it. So I had them do it. First they came over to my house one week before to to do some more measuring. Then when they came (on time) to start the fence, they had my old fence tore down and most of the new fence up in like 3 or 4 hours. They came and finished it the next day, again in like 3 or 4 hours. I was VERY impressed with their speed. Ronnie and Scott came over to talk to me again before they finished the fence to see what I thought. I tell you, it wasn't done when I left that day and I had never seen a better looking fence in my life. That was till I got home. When I left they were just starting the trim, but when I got home the fence was done and it added to the beauty of my home so much. It's sad in a way that it is so good. Sad because I'll be in the grave probably before I'll need a new fence, so I can't use them again. That is if I don't get another place. So needless to say, Ronnie, Scott and the entire A-1 Fence & Welding Co. staff have been super to work with and I encourage ANYONE to look them up for all you fencing and even your welding needs.
