Not Good! I should've known a 90 day warranty is a red flag! When you can hire most foundation repair companies who will warranty their work for a LIFETIME, 90 days should've told me everything I needed to know. Uretek ICR North TX injected two spots on my pool deck that had settled approximately 1 inch. 1) A medium size deck beside the spa, and another small step onto a sitting area. I was told it may settle a little, but never thought it would sink this much. The spa deck is now 1/2" lower than the original inch it was, and the step has sunk as well. In true fashion, after my 90 day warranty was up and I realized it was still "settling", I contacted Uretek again about a possible repair. They were more than happy to re-inject it, but for $500 more. I asked if they would consider standing behind their work for longer than 90 days and again was met with a $500 estimate. This product may work for some, but I wasted $1,800. As a Commercial Developer, we use sub contractors all the time. No matter who's fault, when we realize our work was not what was represented, nothing beats going back and doing the right thing. Maybe I'm just old fashioned. Proceed with caution!

They injected too much of the material into the foundation, causing it to elevate almost an inch higher than what it's supposed to be. I was told that it was due to the level of rain that we received recently, and that there was nothing they could do. Three months ago, a crew came out to measure and confirmed that it had elevated. At that time I was told that it would settle on its own and that if it didn't (even after I emailed them a hydrostatic documentation that confirmed that it was not a leak), they would come out and remedy the problem. However, when they came out this October, they told me that this was an issue that I'd have to take care of due to upheaval. I was told that I should have the original company that did the foundation to come out and raise the house to equal Uretek's mistake, however I feel that this is completely impractical.
Description of Work: They came to do some foundation repair. The procedure requires drilling several holes into the foundation, and injecting a foam which later hardens.

Originally the inspector was scheduled to be at my home a week earlier. I however forgot about the appointment. I left a message apologizing. He was very understanding, called back rescheduled and completed his inspection. He was not mad even though he had a right to be. Although I did not need Uretek's services I would not hesitate to use them in the future.
Description of Work: Dan Billings came to do an evaluation of my foundation. He was quick, courteous and informative. He told me after he was done that my foundation was within tolerance. No trying to sell me something I did not need.

Description of Work: Responded quickly - very professional. Satisfied so far with results. Installer advised when leaving that I should wait 60-90 days to see if "additional product" would be needed and that the adjustment would be no charge. He also advised that paperwork was to follow. I have not seen the paperwork but am EXTREMELY satisfied with the immediate results AND all my URETEK interactions. Work was completed 3 weeks ago. Pending any re-settling issues in the next 2 months and URETEK's response, I will give them my BEST recommodation. So far, they are GREAT!!!! |

We had a badly stuck front door and some serious cracks in interior walls. They raised the fire place, drilled a few other strategic holes, which were filled with a jacking fluid, and fixed my problems. They were prompt, knew what they were doing. I highly recommend.

My driveway is on a 6 foot retaining wall and over 30 years it sank about 8 inches, cracking as it did. Uretek came out the next morning after my call. Quoted a price and sent a mudjack crew out the next day. 2 other companies had been out, with one estimate at $30,000, the other at $16,000. The drive was lifted with the mudjack and I will use this company again.
Description of Work: Assessed my foundation and drive.

Their service was excellent, clean and professional as well as prompt. I was satisfied with their work, and they corrected the issues left by the prior service provider.

This was a follow up visit for further adjustments after about 6 months, during which the house had some further movement after having piers installed. Wade Babock and his crew arrived promptly at the appointed hour. Wade explained the procedure clearly and performed the procedure. The crew was efficient, clean, and moved all furniture back. I would use Uretek again without hesitation should the need arise.

The job was described as unusual for this contractor but he indicated that the work could be done satisfactorily He had to re-schedule due to a breakdown of his truck but a satisfactory re-schedule date was determined and they arrived right on time. Work was done quickly and clean-up was immediately performed, all to our satisfaction.

Description of Work: You can read reviews all over Angie's List about companies that have invested in presenting their services via a web presence, and yet, cannot follow through by simply returning phone calls or showing up for scheduled appointments. Uretek is a prime example in this observed devolvement in American business practices. They have a great, informative web site, but no follow through. If you are looking for someone to address your residential concrete concerns - look elsewhere. This company seems better suited to the needs of a large commercial customer.

Having had foundation work done on the exterior of our home some years ago, I was concerned at some of the cosmetic issues we were seeing in the house - cracking plaster, doors not closing properly. I contacted the Foundation Repair company that had done the work and after an evaluation it looked like it wasn't the exterior that was compromised, but the interior. Chris gave me Pam's name at Uretek and she came out the next day to evaluate what was going on. Although the damage wasn't severe, I was concerned because it seemed to all be in the area of the plumbing - the center of the house. She suggested we have a leak test done on the plumbing to make sure there were no leaks under the house due to the recent movement. She gave us a couple of companies they have dealt with and could recommend. The same day Pam sent us a bid and we arranged for the leak test to be done. Once done I contacted Pam and within days they were able to have a crew out to do the work. Two gentlemen from Uretek along with a very interesting truck showed up at the time they said they'd be there. They were friendly and professional. They ran the hoses for the polymer into the house, reviewed the readings on the foundation and got to work. They drilled a series of 5/8” holes on 6-foot centers and injected a two-part polymer in order to fill voids and lift and stabilize the affected areas and reduce recurrence of the problems. Within 2-2.5 hours they were through. All of the gaps where the ceiling was separating from the walls were closed and the cracks in the sheetrockl were just lines. The workman went over all of the areas with me and explained what they had done. I was pleased that they didn't have to move back or cut any of the carpeting, but the house was empty and there were concrete areas they could work with. This was also a reason the work went so quickly.
Description of Work: Guaged the damage to our slab, provided a bid, pumped foam under the slab to relevel and fill voids.

Instead of a bid, Mr.Henson suggested we get soaker hoses to go around the back perimeter of the home and soak deeply every 2-3 days. If this doesn't raise the level appropriately, he will be happy to come back and offer a bid. Cost to us: two soaker hoses. We were very pleased with his honesty.
Description of Work: Back of the house off level. Raymond Henson came out and investigated prior to placing a bid.
