Our double kitchen sink had began to back up then drain incredibly slowly. I checked the trap and it was clean, so I assumed there must be a clog further down the line. I used two plungers on it , but had no luck. I first used Service Magic and Royal Flush was one of the companies that called. They were the only company that would actully give me a ballpark quote over the phone, because of this and the fact that I needed it done that day, I used Royal Flush (even though they were not even rated on my newly purchased Angie's List). Two workers came to the house very promptly, and began to look at the situation. I will say that initially I was a little put off by the fact one of them reeked heavily of smoke, but that did not impact the work obviously. They snaked the lines seven times, used cameras, installed a disposal. At this point the clog appeared removed and I began to pay, but as I let the sink flow I realized after a minute that it was still backed up. They got back at it and eventually found what they believed was roots in the pipes!!! Very bad news. But after consulting their boss, the boss named Kevin, took it upon himself to come to the house personally and use his 20+ years experience to determine whether it was in fact roots in the pipe or not. When arriving he decided to try find a vent in the roof and snake the pipe from there. After an hour or two later, SUCCESS!!! It was not roots, but instead a mixture of dog hair from the previous owners and organic sludge. The house was left pretty clean though some leaves had made there way in and a pair of gloves were left. Overall, I felt like they went above and beyond!!! A quick job turned into a four hour ordeal, and while they could have left me with the conclusion that tree roots have invaded and now I would have to take bids on a $2000-$5000 job to solve the problem, instead the boss came over personally and made sure all aspects were considered. I was not charged more for the many extra hours of difficult work, so I feel like I got a great deal in the end. Royal Flush will get to the bottom of the situation and do so without charging you extra for every little issue that arises.

I came home from an out-of-town trip to find a gusher running from my front yard down my driveway to the street. Ack! I called a plumber I had used before, but he said he no longer does jobs that require climbing under the house or digging, but he recommended Desmond at Royal Flush. I called him at 7:30 in the morning, and he said he could be here by ten. He arrived a few minutes early with his helper, and plunged right into the job. They worked hard, efficiently, and expertly. Desmond was friendly and courteous, and he exuded professional competence. They took off their shoes when they needed to come into the house, and answered my many questions. When I asked them to look at a dishwasher that wasn't draining properly, they gladly did that, too. I was very, very impressed. I don't know whether the price for a difficult two-hour job was on the high or the low end, but I would pay it again. They're my new go-to guys!

Demond Koontz came to our house to investigate the cause of our $1,165 water bill and to look at the cause of mold in my closet. He quickly determined that the mold was coming from faulty caulk in a shower stall and that we do not have a water leak. He was punctual, polite, and professional. He declined payment but I gave him money for his time and gas. I will definitely call him again.
