Mann Flooring

We had an exceptional experience with Mann Flooring for our flooring needs. From carpet sales and installation to ceramic tile and hardwood, Mann Flooring's craftsmanship and attention to detail were evident in every step of the process. The quality of materials provided was top-notch, and Terry Mann took the time to ensure everything was installed to perfection. We were deceived by the crew. We found that the installers were laying down a lower grade felt material than what was paid for and what was agreed upon in the contract. When confronted the installer initially lied than came clean, once we said we would have Lowes verify the felt is 30lb. They installed 15# felt instead of 30# felt under the hardwood flooring. I know the difference and they probably thought the customer wouldn't know the difference. I asked him to show me the receipt. He replied with "I threw the receipt out". I said, then I will go to Lowes and ask them if it is 15# it was at that point he said he would go get 30# that we paid for and remove the 15# felt off our floors, and shortly thereafter one of the workers handed me paper from the felt packaging that read 15#. Another issue we ran into was that the crew needed to be told how and when to acclimate the wood. The crew delivered wood and kept it in sealed boxes stacked 5 boxes high. In other words they did not know how to properly acclimate the hardwood once in the home. This is a critical point so the warranty is not void and so that the wood won't cause the customer problems in the future with expansion etc. We had to request that the would be acclimated correctly in our home and show them images video so it is done right.. The company does know how to lay flooring because our floors look great. They look really good. The crew showed up on time everyday. Honesty was an issue with materials. Word of caution watch the materials closely inspect all materials that you ordered and paid for BEFORE they install it and while they are installing it. Make sure your wood is acclimated if it needs to be. The office needs to work on delivering a legible contract prior to the start of work and verify with the customer that they can read it. Other than that they did a good job and floors look good and it was at a good price..

Original scheduled start was delayed due to special order for material needed to handle sunken living area. First available start date was a Saturday but they had a crew available to work straight through the weekend so we elected to proceed. The entire project took 4 full days and each morning Jose and his crew arrived promptly at 8 am worked steadily throughout the day. Each evening they provided enough cleanup that we could remain in the house with our 3 pets. The crew was very proficient at handling the irregular shaped areas and the results were every bit as striking as we had visualized. On the final day, all the furniture was replaced to our satisfaction and the property was left clean with all trash hauled away. Although I was originally stunned by the cost estimate, after actually seeing the amount of work required, I have no misgivings. I would definitely recommend Mann Flooring as a full service provider.

These guys are AMAZING. They have customer service down. They scheduled around our time so it was convenient for us, I seriously think if I asked them to start work at 5 am they would have accommodated it. They were also very clean and had a lot of pride in their work. They gave me great care instructions for the flooring and they came out looking amazing!!! The value they added to our house will go a long way when/if we resell. We will expand the home and don't want anyone other than Mann flooring doing our new floors. They showed up on time and got right to work. The floors took more effort to prepare than they anticipated, but they were very pleasant and friendly despite having to put in some extra time over the weekend to get the job done right. The floors look great!

The sales man David Wolf was very helpful. The crew was great and cleaned up well. I was very pleased with end product. They did a really great job.

I have quotes for the services I get done and I liked their quote for the service to be done. They were 18% cheaper than the other quotes I received. They gave me a date and time for when they had the appointment and called me before the appointment to verify. They were on time and I appreciated it. The product was really good, they were courteous and they cleaned up after themselves. They did the work fast and did exactly what they said, they also called me a week later and asked if I was satisfied and everything was still ok.

The workers were several hours late without calling and were unprepared when they did arrive. They had to reschedule the job so that they could install a subfloor, which we had decided on at the sales rep's recommendation, so they should have been ready. The subfloor went well but the actual installation of the vinyl, which is a pattern, ended up crooked and also did not match up from room to room. The sales rep came out to check the job after and said "oh well, I wouldn't have noticed if you hadn't said something. You are the only one who will notice." True, but guess what: I am the one who lives here and looks at its crooked non-matching pattern every single day. The cuts around doors are not neat and come out from the wall so that they are collecting dirt. I wish I hadn't paid them in full before I made them come back and fix the problem areas because now I am living with the result. I would not recommend them.

They were very professional and did a great job. We could not have been happier. We will definitely use them again and have referred them to others.
