LASITER AND LASITER PLUMBING

This is my first home and my first plumbing problem that I didn't feel comfortable tackling myself. Lasiter came out at the agreed time, and addressed the problem quickly. Their representative was professional and knowledgeable, tested to ensure the repair worked, and answered all my questions. The problem is solved and I am happy, though I feel like the price is a bit high. With that said, in many cases you get what you pay for, and I don't mind paying a little more if I get this level of service consistently. I will call them again next time.

This involved going down an hill at an 45 degree angle for about ten yards or so. It involved two lines that intercepted and went down. My brother had estimate for straight line for $16,000, and that was just going down. I thought they were pretty good. The sewer line is working good, but they didn't clean up their mess very good. They cleaned up fairly well, but not real well. I won't be very judgmental on it. They were done really quickly. We had a delayed with the rain. They done it ahead of scheduled.

Professional and polite on the phone. Very Prompt on returning calls. After arriving for estimate, Lewis was able to arrange to have heater delivered and installed the same day when we thought it would be a day or so later. Without question we will use Lasiter and Lasiter again and recommend them without question. When we had problems with the city inspector showing up, Lasiter and Lasiter went out of their way to contact the city a second and I believe a third time and kept me well informed of the inspectors final arrival time. Terrible customer service, delay of a week and two set appointments, where both times they didn't show up. I received a crazy $5000 estimate with them never even coming to the property. I would not recommend them to any Angies List members. They had a chance to rectify the situation and instead just blew it off.

Smoothly. Called them around 7 p.m. on a Thursday night and they arrived by 9 a.m. on Friday morning. Seemed a little pricey, but they also had to completely bring us up to code since the previous homeowners skimped. In addition to a new water heater, they added insulation around the pipes, a drip pan and a new PVC pipe exiting from the garage closet out of the garage (so that if the drip pan ever does overflow again, it won't go inside our house again).

Completely missed diagnosed the problem. We had water seeping through a second story shower into the kitchen below. They said we needed to recall the bathtub. So we spent a couple hundred dollars getting that done. It turns out that had absolutely nothing to do with the problem, because as soon as the shower was used again the problem resumed. I don't know if the problem was lack of training or knowledge or what, but we will never be using this company again and I would under no circumstances recommend it to anyone else.

I noticed a small amount of water leaking from my water heater so I called Lasiter and Lasiter. They were fairly prompt and arrived about two days after I put a request in. The tech took a look at my water heater and determined that it needed to be replaced. I was very happy when he said he could replace the water heater the same day. So he did an estimate and it came back at $1650. The water heat replacement was around $1300 and the rest was due to some code issues they had to do as well. I figured this was a little high but wanted it replaced same day so I agreed. I found out later from a buddy of mine that these replacements can be done for as little as $900 if you find the right plumber. So I was not happy that I over paid but happy with their work and how fast they completed it. An inspector had to come out and check the water heater to pass code. He found that I did not have a carbon dioxide detector and wouldn't pass without one. Lasiter and Lasiter agreed to install one for free. Overall, they seem like a great company and did good work. My buddy that told me about pricing is from Lubbock so things could just be more expensive in DFW. Either way I am sure there are cheaper options out there.

The technicians doing the work were excellent, they knew their job. The only issue we had was outside their control. The old water heater was 50 gallons. They tried their best to find a new 50 gallon one that would fit into my existing water heater closet, even bringing one out to try that they thought might fit. But because of the new federal regulations that went into effect last year, the 50 gallon ones were too large for the space. I only have 2 bathrooms, and a small family so did not feel the need to spend the $$ to enlarge the space. So they installed a 40 gallon water heater that will meet my needs. I called the company at 7:45 am, and they had a technician at my house at 8:45 am, ready to work.

Fantastic transaction from start to finish. I called the morning of 3/30 with a tight schedule and a leaky faucet. They were able to get me on the schedule for the same day!I was given great instructions as to what type of faucet to buy---and that was good as I had no clue and probably would have gotten the wrong one! Jeff the plumber was awesome. Got the job done quickly, was very careful not to get water all over the area and was very helpful and friendly! An A++++ for sure for this great company and its employees.

Plumber checked everything over and gave me a free estimate. For things I decided that were too costly, Plumber gave me some tips on how to fix myself if I went that route. We ended up just needing the drain pipe cleaned due to water overflowing from a washing machine. Plumber initially tried a cheaper fix before going the more expensive rotorooter, and when it didn't work out, just charged for the rotorooting. Explained what he was doing while he did it (I was curious), and showed up early in the window they said they'd be out there. They also got in touch with me ASAP after contacting them via the web, and had an open schedule which I appreciated.

Chaz is great! He arrived on schedule, I informed him I was told by another plumbing company that the clog was not accessible and a clean out would have to be installed.. Chaz said he would determine if that would be needed or not. After he worked on the clog for approx. 30 minutes he was able to clean clog without installing a clean out.. he informed me in detail on how he was able to remedy the problem.. I WILL use Lasiter & Lasiter any time I have a plumbing issue going forward. I do Recommend this company A++

I feel we had a good experience right from the beginning. The technician I spoke with to schedule the service call took detailed information and gave me a quote on the phone. He then called the morning of the appointment to let me know that the technicians had just left the office to head to my house. There were two technicians working together. Both were very nice and went over the details of the repair work before starting. It only took about an hour and a half and all repairs and the leak check were finished. I will definitely call them again when I need a plumber.

Super nice tech came out the very next day we had a return call within a few hours to schedule and all is working fine. Will use again when we finish our other bathroom

Made an appointment for an estimate for leak and other small jobs. Day of the estimate (week after making the appointment), got a call 45 minutes before he was due at my house to cancel saying that it was too far for them to come. I would guess the distance was 20-25 miles. They should have told me up front that it was too far or at least done me the decency to call earlier than they did. I had to take off work in order to be home for when they were supposed to show up. I think they just didn't think the job was going to be worth their while. Still have a leak that needs to be addressed.

We've used them 3-4 times and they initially did the plumbing when we first bought the house. Scheduling was really easy. They know what they're doing and the service guys are always very nice. They keep track of when they've been here and why so they can cross check when they come out again.

I was looking for an energy-efficient gas water heater, not just a quick replacement. Cold water for a few days is no fun, but I knew I was making a decision I would live with for 10 years or more. From the initial phone contact onward, the company was not listening to me. On the second phone contact I spoke to a master plumber, and I was told that I would have to wait a week for the type of water heater I wanted to be shipped to my area. Amazed, I agreed to wait. I was wasting my time. The plumber who was eventually sent out removed the old heater, and I had confidence in his honesty and his work, but when we looked at the replacement unit that he had been given, it was just a standard, inefficient model, and I refused it. I let the plumber go, and eventually I paid for his work by mailing a check. (Their first attempt was to call me and ask for a credit card number over the phone. No way!) I used another plumber and got a unit I am pleased with, plus an installation that made more sense than L&L's proposal.

Doug, arrived on time on November 11th but was unable to complete the descaling of the water heater as the required valves had not been installed and none were normally carried on his truck. Arrangements were made for a return visit on November 18th and I was advised in good time that he was running a little late ( about 30 minutes outside the proposed time band. As this was not a problem, Doug arrived, installed the valves with a minimum of fuss, descaled the water heater, cleaned up and I had the water turned back on after approximately 1 1/2 hours. An excellent job with good coordination from the main office to ensure that the job went off as planned. They get a gold star from me and I will certainly call on them for future needs

They came on time and did job promptly. They applied $25 coupon. My friend are very satisfied with their job.

It went excellent, I would highly recommend them to anyone.

All good so far. Provided a warranty in case of repeat.

Luis was very prompt arriving at the beginning of the service window. He provided a reasonable quote for the faucets and I said to go ahead with the repairs. He found one was in good shape and repairable (which he did), thereby, saving the cost of a new replacement and completing the job below the original estimate. I am confident this is someone I can use for years to come and would highly recommend them.

Four previous plumbers couldn't find the gas leak. They found the gas leak. They were here for two, three days checking and stuff like that.

Plumber arrived promptly after hours to fix broken exterior copper connection to faucet that was spraying water. Difficult space to work in but the plumber did the job great.
