Ken Davis: Formally KTS

Ken was very thorough when looking over the trees before giving me an estimate of the cost. He didn't just eye-ball the trees; he went around them and looked at the size, complexity, and how much work would be required to bring down the 30-40ft tree without damaging anything around it. We agreed on a specific date for him to do the work, and he arrived on time around 8am in the morning with 2 other workers. They were there at least 7 or 8 hours cutting down the large 25yr old maple tree that had not done well in the Texas drought of 2011. Ken oversaw the whole ordeal and gave the others managing instructions on how to cut each wedge and rope the branches before they were sawed off so they would not hit the other trees or fences when they came down. I believe there is an art form to that. Not one bit of damage occurred as the branches were being cut down. The whole time, they were also cleaning up after themselves by raking, sweeping, carrying branches to the front yard, and grinding them up. Ken even used the blower and cleaned off my back porch! Ken made the final large cutting of the trunk as close to ground level as he could get it. They had to come back a different day to prune the other trees because it got so late in the day which I didn't mind at all. The guys were exhausted. When they came back, they started early, and did a wonderful job of trimming the trees. They look very nice. I was very impressed with the professionalism, friendliness, cleaning of the yard, and the total price of the whole experience. I will definitely use them in the future.

Great experience overall. Their crew arrived early in the morning and got right to work. The entire job only took about 2 hours start to finish. All leftover debris was cleaned up thoroughly and yard looked very nice when they were finished. Very satisfied. I would highly recommend.
