Family Christian Doors

FDC was contacted to repair the garage door. They came out the same day as promised and completed work in a timely fashion. They also replaced the old rollers on both doors. The doors are much slightly now.

The technician was very knowledgeable. He could both fix the problem and tell me what was wrong with it. He did leave a bolt off one side of the door harness, which I pointed out. He then fixed it. He was also very courteous, and was willing to explain what he was doing as he worked. I got the impression he liked what he did and that doing his best was important to him.

They did a good job. They were true to their ads. They were on time and very professional and courteous. They were honest and trustworthy.

I hired Family Christian Doors to install an automatic garage door opener. Our garage has two doors but only one has had an automatic door opener during the 30 years since this house was built. We bought another car and needed to be able to open the second door. Jason arrived on the scheduled day to not only give me a quote but to do the actual job, which was very nice. He ran into some problems installing the attic supports for the opener due to the age of the house, and then some unexpected problems occurred with the electrical system, for which I had to call an electrician to repair the next day, so the job was postponed until the electrical problem was solved. Even though the job lasted much longer than either Jason or I had thought it would, he was extremely pleasant during the entire process. I would definitely hire FCD for any garage door problems I have in the future.

Called them on a Thursday evening and they were there Friday morning. They fully explained the repair options and the pros and cons of each and the price. Were able to complete the repair and serviced both doors in less than two hours. They are very professional. I not only will use them again, but will recommend them to friends and neighbors!

My garage door won't go up. Christian Family Doors came out the same day and replaced the spring, rollers and trolley. I decided to have the spring and rollers on my other garage door replaced. They said they needed more parts and went back to the shop and came right back and did the work.

They were excellent. They came out and did a very good job. The salesman was friendly; he did not try to oversell us. The folks who came out to do the work were very prompt. They showed up on time. They got the job in done in a reasonable amount of time.

The repair guy was very courteous and punctual. He also worked very quickly. He got the whole thing back together and the side rail fixed in less than an hour. Also they were the only company that picked up right away on Sunday when we broke it and they were going to come out Sun. evening but then we realized we could manually shut it enough to wait for Monday. The only problem we had was that the technician left without punching out the lock hole in the new side railing. We called the company back right after he left and he came back right away and fixed it in 5 minutes so it was not a big deal. Overall we were very impressed with the company and would definitely go with them again.

The garage door had gone off track because one of the rollers had broken. They replaced them with the ball bearing rollers which come with a lifetime guarantee. They lubricated all the joints and checked the chain on the doors. I would give them the highest rating both in terms of calling them and the response I received verbally. The quality of personnel that came out was great. The work was excellent.

In general, it was a good experience. FCD answered call quickly. sent a technician to do the evaluation. After evaluation, he suggest me to replace the door. I then choose the $599 promotion one. The technician arrived on Saturday in time, and perform the job very well. I am very satisfied overall. The only negative is that they tend to ask for a fee for any extra thing, even a very small thing. Another thing is that I asked why the new door does not have a handler outside like all other neighborhoods' garage doors have, they just tell me that it does not come with it and the handler is inside which I know that one is not a handler. But I am afraid they charge extra fee for installing a handler, I just give up.

The garage doors are 10 years old so they needed some routine maintenance. I used a coupon that I found through Angies List. They were prompt and courteous and came the same day that I called them. If i ever have to replace my doors I will call them again.

This company is amazing. They are my first experience with Angie's List, and I am very impressed. I choose them because of the ratings on Angie's list and the knowledge and help of Tony, with whom I spoke when I called for an estimate. Tony answered all my questions, walked me through all the options and door features. They did not have the lowest price, but they won my business by the help provided by Tony (difference from low bid was less than $20). The installer, Josh was awesome. He arrived on time, advised how he would go about the project, and then got after it. 3 hours later, the old door was loaded up, new door and hardware installed, jobsite cleaned up. It was a great experience, and I would highly reccomend their company!

The experience went very well. They were very courteous and thorough and they checked to see exactly what I wanted before they started the job, and they were also very prompt. They cleaned up after themselves; they didn’t leave any mess in our yard for me to clean up. I never even saw them, it was all done by phone. I just came home one day and it was done, and I was very pleased with their work.

They set up an appointment with me for late in the day, but ended up calling me back and said that Jason could be over within an hour. About 20 minutes before he arrived, Jason called to say he was on his way. He is a super polite guy, and very knowledgeable in the area of garage doors. In less than an hour, Jason was done replacing the spring and lubricating all the moving parts on the door. Good work, good people, and a fair price. I couldn't ask for more.

Good. They arrived on time, gave a quote and suggestions on what could be done and what should be done. I had them perform services and then paid.

I called them on a Saturday, and they were able to come out 15 minutes later. The tech did some extra stuff while he was there. He service both my doors.

They were able to confirm an appointment on the day I called for service and it wasn't because they had nothing else to do! They find ways to provide service instead of looking for excuses to tell you why they can't get there! When the tech arrived, he focused on my problem instead of trying to up-sell me with other services I really didn't need. Thoughout the process, he was thorough, but again, didn't try to up-sell. Forgot to mention - the tech called to tell me he was on the way and arrived when they said he would.

After replacing the control pad the tech advised me to get a key entry opener. I have found this to be a great idea so I bought 3. Now I have the secure feeling of a safe enviroment opposed to leaving the garage door opener in the car at night.

Very quick to replace a broken garage door. I am very pleased with the company and the experience was stress free.

It started with the pleasant person that answered the phone and the curteous behavior was continued with the staff that arrived on time to fix my garage door. They told me exactly what was needed and kept the cost under $100. A great company to work with for garage door problems.

I joined Angie's list to find a contractor I could trust to fix my garage door right and not take advantage of my ignorance. John arrived exactly on time. He had great integrity and was very professional. It wasn't cheap, but he delivered quality and expertise as promised. He fixed it very well and answered all my questions on the door. This worked out exactly as I hoped and was a very good experience.

I decided I needed a new garage door in advance of the painting of our house exterior. I contacted Family Christian based on the positive feedback on Angie"s List. I called at 6:30 at night and someone answered the phone and arranged for someone to come out and give me an estimate the next day. After a visit by the estimator, we agreed on the scope of the project and the price without any upselling, etc. The next morning, the installer came out and installed the door and attached it to my existing motor. The whole experience was great and they were extremely efficient. I highly recommend Family Christian to anyone considered a new garage door.

I could not be more pleased with the service I received. I literally called FCD on a Wednesday and met the sales representative the next afternoon to review my options. Since the doors I purchased were in stock, the crew worked an extended day on Friday to complete the installation. Overall, the products that Family Christian Doors sell are higher quality than the competitors. I am planning on having FCD install two new openers in the very near future.
