This company and their workers from scheduling my appointment to finishing the job were nothing but polite, punctual, and hard working. They always arrived within the 2 hour time frame I was given. Louis, Rick, and one other nice man went out of their way to make sure my garage door was fixed correct in a timely manner. They took the time to explain to me in a way I could understand why the repairs had to be made. Once they were done they showed me as well as explained to me what they did. They even stayed after 5:00 pm to make sure I would not have to go another night without a working garage. I will HIGHLY recommend FCD to others as well as call them again should I need any future garage repairs. Thanks!

Service was requested to replace a broken tension spring on the garage door. Contacted FCD and spoke with Joe who scheduled an appointment at my convenience. On the day of the appointment, contacted Joe to get an ETA on the technicians and explained another committment may require a rescheduling of the appointment. Joe was very considerate and verified the work would be completed without delay. The technicians arrived as promised and verified the work to be completed. The three technicians, Lewis, Ricky, and Troy were all very friendly, courteous and, efficient. The repairs were explained and completed exactly as described.

Very well. I called at 6 PM on 9/23 for an appointment for my garage gate as it just stopped working. I received an appointment for the next day, window of 10 - 12 PM. They arrived about 11 AM, called 15 minutes before to alert me they were coming. They switched out the motherboard and put on a key pad gate opener within 30 minutes. The gates were tested with my remotes and are now functional.

They came exactly when they said and were completely competent in their assessment of my garage door issues. It was fixed the same day and now I have a quiet garage door that actually works.

I signed up for the garage door tune-up deal, having recently moved into this older home with a very marginally functioning garage door. The representative consulted about which tune-up to use and I decided to have both new rollers and a new key pad plus some additional work to upgrade the system. The additional cost was $600 but was a very good investment. I was quite happy with the outcome and the service. The representative had all the needed items readily available so the work was completed within 3 hours. I will definitely use Family Christian Doors again when needed.

I requested someone come right away as my truck was in the garage and I couldn't raise the garage door. The customer service person understood my situation and had a service technician come by after 5:00pm. He quickly diagnosed the problem as a broken tension spring and could have scheduled me for another day, but agreed to replace it right then without complaint. He also suggested I replace the spring on the other side as it was likely to fail soon as well even though this meant it would take even longer. He was at my house until close to 7:00 pm, but never said a word, and had a good attitude. I told of my ordeal of being stranded due to my vehicle being stuck in the garage and since their houses were the same age suggested they don't use anyone else and I found them on Angie's List. I had purchased their most recent $99 deal to service my current garage door/opener, hoping it would address the issues I was having with the old one. I called mid-day Thursday hoping to get a late Friday afternoon appointment as I would be taking a few hours off of work. Phone contact was pleasant and professional and they offered to accommodate my schedule. They gave me a 4pm-6pm window of arrival, with a courtesy call when they were on their way. I received my courtesy call around 5 pm and Louis arrived shortly after that. When the technician arrived he assessed the situation, listened to my issues, and he told me he can service it, but it most likely wouldn't solve all my problems since the opener was very aged and dated. I believe it was the original one when the home was built, which would have made it 20+ years old. He offered to service it as the "deal" was and see if that fixed the issues, or I could purchase a new one one and he would install it on the spot. He went over the costs and exactly what he would be doing and how it would all work, and at that time I made the decision to replace the old garage door opener. They applied the $99 coupon toward the purchase of the new unit. After using the new unit a few days I am happy I made the decision to replace it. I am just sorry I didn't install a new one sooner. I do want to say that I did not at any time feel pressured to replace the unit. I made that decision based on the problems I had been having, and wanting my money to go towards something better (newer), rather than just throwing money at an old problem and hoping it would help. I would definitely call them again for service, repairs, or replacement.

I was very pleased with the gentleman that came out to my home. I purchased one of Angie's Deals for this for one door and he gave me the same price for the second door while he was here. I had the choice of either the quiet rollers or a keypad installed and I thought this was a good price for the work that was performed. He did not try to sell me anything that I did not need. The worker was very polite and courteous. He performed the job quickly and the doors work beautifully. They are very quiet now. Definitely would use them again.

I purchased a $99 deal on Angie's List. Family Christian Doors contacted me right away to schedule an appointment for the following morning. I was given a window of 8-10:00 a.m. and was informed that I would also receive a courtesy call prior to their arrival. I received a call at 9:30 and he arrived at 9:55. Micah introduced himself and went through the details of what he would be checking. He was very thorough and wanted to make sure I understood everything. He told me that it would be about 30 minutes and it was. When it was completed, he even wrote down some notes for me about future maintenance that we could do on a regular basis. He answered all of my questions and was able to change the code on the keypad...something we had been unable to do despite repeated attempts. Perfect experience. Would highly recommend this company.

We received amazing service from Josh, with Family Christian Doors!! Josh called to inform us he could arrive early, if that was acceptable. He was very professional and extremely engaging. FCD is fortunate to have such an awesome employee!! Josh explained all our options, gave us the prices of each option, and then set about effectively completing a much-expanded work order with a speed that can only come from experience! We bought an Angies List deal for Family Christain doors to service our garage door. They arrived on time, performed the service as described, tuned up our door nicely which now runs much smoother and quieter and made no attempt to upsell us at all. We will gladly call on them again should we have any garage door problems.

My garage door was getting where it made a lot of noise when being opened or closed. I responded to a $99.00 special on Angie's List to have my garage door rollers replaced and the door serviced. I signed up and Family Christian Doors (FCD) sent me an e-mail to contact them on the next day. I set an appointment for 2 days out and FCD gave me a arrival window of between 12:00-2:00 PM. The technician, Louis, showed up at 11:50 on the designated date ready to work. Louis was polite, helpful, did an excellent job, and represented his company well. The garage door never sounded better and he gave me some hints about preventive maintenance. He also helped me reprogam the outside opener which had never worked. My experience with FCD and Louis was 5-stars and I recommend this company to anyone requiring service on their garage door. Thanks!

I called around 9 am. The person I spoke with was extremely helpful in explaining the types of door available. We had a new garage door installed before I came home from work. They were wonderful to work with.

It went perfectly. They provided, excellent Customer Service when I called to schedule an appointment, and they also were able to provide same-day service. The technician was on-time and was very polite and exceptionally professional. He took time to answer all my questions, provided repair and pricing options, and I felt that they gave me a very good deal on the actual labor and materials. I will definitely use this provider again and would highly recommend them. I'm very happy with the overall experience.

The tightened all the screws all over the door. The also replaced all of my roalers with new ones. They also made minor adjustments to the alignment of the door. They did a great job and were very polite.

James was very friendly and explained everything he was doing. He answered all my questions and did a great job. The coupon was a great deal. I would recommend them to anyone.

They sent a young man named Micah to do the work. This guy worked his tail off. He suggested I keep the insulated steel door after I was thinking a lighter weight door would be better, but not near the quality of the door I already had which was in decent shape. We made the decision to just to use a larger motor 3/4 hp as opposed to the 1/2 horse power that had been on their for 15 years. He replaced the opener, replaced the springs compatible with the heavier door, changed the rollers from the old metal style to the newer silicone style. He setup an outside key entered opener and fixed a long overdue wall control with the latest in technology. My wife and I feel like we just bought a new car with the ease of use, silent opening and closing. I would definitely recommend Family Christian Doors to anyone and their guy Micah was a pro..

Called in advance, asking if it would be ok to come earlier, which was great for me. Very courteous and knew what he was doing. He replaced the garage door openers with new hardware and rails. About two-thirds of the way through the process, he asked if his brother, another FCD employee, could come and help him finish the work. (It wasn't that he needed the help, but, instead, resulting in the job being done sooner. They worked very good together. Both were willing to answer questions as they worked and at the completion of the job. I was very pleased with their work. If I have to pick one thing I would change, it would be to remove any trash accumulation from the job, instead of putting it in our trash cans or leaving in the garage door opener boxes by the trash can. That isn't in the discription for the server, so I really can't knock FCD for it. I would definitely use them again.

The technician was young, very energetic, very knowlegeable, and explained everything he was doing. Total time spent was less than an hour. Did what was advertised without trying to make any additional sales or try to charge me for extras. He did, however, give me some very good advise on what to look for in the future. My garage door is 25 years old and I will probably need to invest in upgrading some parts such as the spring. When I do I will use Family Cristian Doors. I am very pleased with the work performed and the manner in which it was completed.

The two car garage door was making loud screeching noises and was binding while opening or closing from time to time. The door is heavy since it is a wood clad door. I called on Monday morning and they set up an appt. for Tuesday afternoon. I knew that the light duty springs that the builder used were probably at fault and knew I'd need heavy duty springs. Micah ,the repairman , showed up on time and spent 3 and half hours replacing the springs, adjusting the tracks, and lubricating the rollers. The garage door opens quietly and smoothly now! It did not work this well when it was new. I felt that $800 might have been high but at my last house I spent a comparable amount to replace two broken springs.
