We purchased the garage door tuneup Big Deal. The chain drive on the opener was rubbing on the door and started to catch as it was going down. The technician was prompt, courteous and very thorough. He spotted the problem and suggested replacing the original rollers with new ones to reduce the noise. There was no pressure to upgrade - just a suggested upgrade. We are totally happy with the work that was done. I would hire them again.

Everyone we spoke to was very professional and friendly. The spring on the garage door broke trapping the car inside the garage. We attempted to lift the door but it fell back down twisting some of the rails on the door and opener. FCD dispatched a truck as soon as we called them. The technician was able to lift the door so we could get the car out. He clearly explained our options to us. Due to the age of the door we decided to replace the complete door and opener. They offered to come back out that evening with the new door but we had a prior engagement so they came out first thing the following morning and replaced the door and opener. We are extremely pleased and would use them again.

My service included replacing the old rollers, which were causing a load screeching noise. Oiling all parts on the door and tracks. The door was slamming down hard and that was because the device over the door was too tight. He was able to adjust this without replacing it. He did not try to take advantage of me and was open about the cost before he started working. After he finished and I paid him and he had put all his tools away, he noticed a light bulb was out and went back to get his ladder. I gave him a bulb and he replaced the old one. He was very friendly.

I purchased the $24 tune up Big Deal on Angie's List. When I called to make an appointment they had an appointment the same day! They took my husband's number since he was going to be home instead of me, called before they came as they said they would and came during the pre-arranged 2 hour window. The technician worked on our garage door which would not close anymore, adjusting the sensors that apparently had gotten out of whack. He then lubricated the parts and made sure all the settings were correct. Everything's working great now! Highly recommend.

Jared was awesome. I had just installed a set of garage door openers, and wanted to make sure that they were working well with our garage doors, which had previously just been used manually. One door in particular had a tough time going down, causing quite a bit of racket on the way. Jared adjusted the rails to ease the stress on the door, lubricated it, and ensured that everything was balanced correctly. Along the way he offered excellent advice to this new homeowner on how to maintain the doors, as well as some other services FCD offered if I wanted a quieter and more airtight garage. Very impressed with the service, and will definitely use them again should the need arise.

Service provider arrived on time and did his job. I have no complaints regarding the quality of work. What annoys me is that he showed up and, immediately after introducing himself, began trying to upsell me to all kinds of different things I didn't want. I explained that we were fixing the house up to put it on the market and didn't want to sink a bunch of money into it. That made no difference in the "sell job". I finally drew the boundary & walked back into the house.

i purchased the $24 tuneup coupon because my garage door was not opening and closing without holding the button. Working with the team at Family Christian was very pleasant. My service was scheduled for Monday between 12-2pm. it was around 1:45pm and I had not received a call or update from anyone so I gave them a call. I spoke with Tom who was very pleasant and he checked the system to discover my number was transposed and the serviceman had attempted to call me a number of times unsuccessfully. He let me know they would be right over. Steve arrived right away and took a look at my opener etc.. and let me know it was very simple adjustment and he would even secure the tracks to my wall. He suspected the loose fitting was the reason the beams were going offline causing interruption of service. He also explained a number of ways to care for my system as well as advice on replacing the track wheels at some point. I inquired about replacing my unit so I could get a light in the garage and he also explained how this could be taken care of with the current unit by a handy man. My garage door opens and closes beautifully with a slight touchh and now I know how to check to make sure the beams are aligned. I would definitely hire them again and refer them to all my friends and family. thanks

They are very good. They did try very hard to upsell various different things, but also provided some general guidance that would reduce costs in the long term for basic maintenance that I could do on my own. Seemed to be very honest and on time. Garage doors are much quieter and work better than ever. Very good!

Great experience with this company. The service I purchased was a garage door tune-up for $25 via Angie's List. The representative arrived on-time, and determined the issue with our door not closing smoothly almost right away. He showed us that the problem was with our worn-out rollers, and provided an estimate for the repairs. We asked him to go ahead and replace the rollers, and the results are pretty amazing. The door operates smoothly and quietly now. Like a brand new door. We would definitely use this company again. Thanks very much.

It started out as a $24 tune-up. They upsold me on replacing the rollers, etc. on the door and attempted to reduce the noise on the opener. However, the opener began to malfunction after their adjustments. It was over 20 years old and was probably on the last legs so I bought a new one from them while they were there. They stuck through the job until till it was done well after dark. The one thing I would have done differently was to have them give me an opener with a light and an extra remote both of which I had before. I felt he was trying to upsell me on those items as well. So I guess I have mixed emotions about the overall experience.

As usual with this company went very well! Ty is as polite, knowledgeable, and honest as Ryan has been when I have issues with my electric gate. Ty was here right on time..One thing I love about FCD is they always call about 20 to 30 minutes above arrival. Ty got to work right away on my doors and explained everything he was doing. Great Price also! Terrific company!

It was the very best $25 I've ever spent. The technician identified some missing bolts and "problems waiting to happen" and corrected and lubricated EVERYTHING. The garage door immediately SOUNDED BETTER! I will use this Company in the future because of this excellent experience.

The installers were very prompt, and fast. They had the old garage door off before I could say hello. Everyone I spoke to was very friendly from the front office to the installers.
