Called to book three garage door tune-ups using the $19.99 coupon. When I booked them I was not told that the first door is $19.99 but each door after that is $89.00. Was only told that after the door tech had started working on the doors and he mentioned it to me. Told him not to do the third door as he had not yet started on that one. He said he'd "waive" the tune-up charges if I let him replace all the rollers on both doors at a cost of $248.00. Felt a bit like a bait-and-switch, but I allowed him to do the work. Worst yet is that the lubricant used smells awful even now, days later. Called the office today and let them know what happened and that I was not a satisfied customer, but was pretty much told that they didn't mean to do anything wrong. No apology or corrective actions mentioned for the future. Bottom line: be wary of using the deals they advertise...and if you do, make sure you ask for all the restrictions up front, as they are not detailed on the ads.

I purchased their Tune up online knowing there may be more detailed work needed. They were very easy to schedule and showed up on time. The representative told me work that needed to be done, work he recommended and work that could be done preventative. He was very upfront on the costs, and there were no hidden fees at the end. Overall, the experience was great and the work was done on schedule in a reasonable amount of time.

Prompt, courteous, knowledgeable and professional. Troy noticed that the current springs, not changed out when the door was installed ten years ago, were the wrong size, causing the door to not function properly. He also noticed that some of the rollers were worn out. With no hard selling, he suggested they be replaced. In addition, he fixed an issue where the top of the door did not sufficiently clear the garage opener rail. A couple of years ago, I installed a new opener, but failed to lock a fitting on the opener assembly that was loose. An easy fix, but an important one. It?s good to have a qualified expert who knows what he?s doing. Parts replaced and maintenance tune-up done took only about an hour. Now the garage door purrs like a kitten. What a difference.

The gentleman who came out was very professional and courteous. He listened well, evaluated the problems we described and then made his recommendation to resolve our issues. Upon repair our garage doors have never sounded quieter and are performing wonderfully.

I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal for this service and it was very good. They were very thorough and the guy who came out was very professional.

FCD need to reschedule due to delaying of other job running late but called to inform and apologize for the inconvenience. Must admit the professionalism. The technician changed one of the hinge for additional $20. He lubricate all other hinges as well tightened them. He did not perform though alignment check of the photocell as well pressure check (in their ad these were included).

This was our first time to use a provider through Angie's List. We were very pleased with the service we received from Family Christian Doors. I asked them to call me when they were on their way so I could meet them at the house. They gave me a time window and they arrived as promised. They explained what they were going to look for and what the problem was in terms I could understand! I would definitely use their services again.

Service was good. I got a bid from Premier Entry Systems at under 300 dollars for the same work Family Christian Doors charged 440 dollars for. You might want to get multiple bids. Shop around!

It went fine. They came when they said they would come and did what they were suppose to.

The people who did the tune up were fine, but who did the repairs were not. They were efficient. The guy that they had working was very young. He seemed relatively knowledgeable, but he came in by himself. He was relatively professional. It was good other than just the slight bit of unprofessionalism via the kid that came out to do it. It only bothered me a little bit but he was still doing a good job.

The gentleman I spoke with on the phone was very courteous, personable and knowledgeable. The technician arrived at our home prior to the estimated timeframe, which was fantastic as our garage door was hanging in a very precarious situation. The job was performed quickly and thoroughly. We haven't had a problem since.

It went great. I was so pleased with this company. they were quick and did a great job. they were sent by another contractor that was being done after extreme hail damage to the house. they were there to replace the garage door and so we paid to have them replace the opener that we had been having issues with for months. this was three years ago and we have had no trouble with it at all. it has been great!

Recently I noticed the garage door opener arm bracket was loose and tearing away from the door. I was concern about safety issue if it's left unchecked..I used FCD in the past and decided to call to take advantage of the tune up special. Ty called prior to arriving and got to my house on time. He quickly tighten up all the lose bolts, lube the hinges, and made other adjustments. I'm happy the door is much quieter and the problem was corrected. I would use FCD in the future for my garage door needs.

I had brought them in to help tune up the garage door when the person arrived he was very nice and helpful, but seemed to not know how to operate the garage door. Asked him to recode new keypad as well as opener and he was unable to complete that task. Stated I would have to research it online to find out how to fix it.

My overall experience was excellent! Great customer service. the tech did a TERRIFIC Tec! He was polite, professional, and very knowledgeable about parts & mechanics of door. He was exceptional in his ability to give a range of options, explaining relevant issues for each option. he made you feel like he was doing what he would want if someone was providing him a service.
