Steven the technician was very professional and polite. Explained the work he had provided and if I needed to followup what I would need to do. There have been no issues with my garage door.

They were very good. They repaired our garage door and were very knowledgeable about what they were doing. The man that did the work was very friendly and showed us how to keep the door lubricated so that it would operate smoothly.

My wife was leaving for work early, and somehow the garage door came down while she was backing her car out of the garage. It knocked part of the door off the rails. I was able to find Christian Family Doors on here and was able to reach them at 7 a.m. in the morning. The operator took down our information and sent a repairman out. Eric called at 8:15 a.m. and said he'd be there in 30 minutes. And sure enough, he was at our house promptly at 8:45 a.m. He took a look at the door and explained what all had to be done. The work was completed within 20 minutes. Eric was very prompt and professional. We would use this company again and recommend them to others.

They were very good and the young man called me at least three times to let me know the traffic was extremely bad. It was very good that he kept us in touch. Then he did a very good job and explained everythign he was doing. He was pretty fast too. The door works great now.

I purchase a tune up garage door deal well aware of the consequence: it is a deal to get in your house and really hammer you to up-sell their services. Pros price perform tune up as expected cons The service person tries to up-sell you their other services, by time he was done, he wanted an extra: $120 to change rollers which would have brought total cost to close to $150, while you can find deals for door tuning with changing rollers for less than $100 on Angie's List. Re-alligment is another $90+ and motor, which he didnt quote, was according to him was about to fail soon. If you are ready to handle the forced upsell tactics, the technician making you wait while he is on the phone with supervisor about services you never asked for, then this deal is for you. It's unfortunate businesses work like this. I got what i paid for and I have no regrets, they were punctual, and performed service.

At the recommendation of the service tech (very nice young man) we replace the rollers on both doors. WOW, what a difference! The doors now make almost no noise when they open. FCD came out the same day I called. They were early but called ahead of time to make sure that would be ok. Service tech was very knowledgeable, professional, and polite. I will definitely use Family Christian Doors again if I have an issue with my garage doors.

Kudos to Family Christian Doors and Louis for such prompt excellent service. Not to mention pricing. I had purchased a new garage door opener in May from FCD and was very pleased. My electricity had been disrupted due to a storm in the prior week and I had to use the emergency opening due to an appointment. When the electricity was restored the noise started. I called and Louis came out the same day I called and explained what had happened in my opening the door manually, which really did not have anything to do with the purchase or installation of the new system. However, in lieu of him charging the actual service/labor charges, he gave me a coupon discount for a 'tune-up special' which was a substantial savings. What a great company and employee.

The technician (I can not remember his name now, so sorry!) was very professional, and did the work very quick. He also went over everything with me in detail, including how to properly maintain the garage door, when to spray the joints, and things like that. I was very happy with the service we got and would them again in the future.

The gentleman that came out was super nice and professional. The garage door was very noisy when going up and down, and he tuned it up so that it now glides very easily and quietly.

I wasn't very happy with him. I thought my keypad was malfunctioning and I changed the battery prior to calling them. It worked for a while and then it wasn't working again. I was a little disappointed in that. He wanted to sell me new rollers and I was irritated with that. He was late.

I told Family Christian Doors representative I had damage to my garage door and wanted to know if it could be repaired or if it would need to be replaced. The salesman/service man came out and inspected the door. He said it could be repaired by reinforcing the door with 3 struts, possibly 4 at a cost of about $600.00 to $700.00. Installing a new door could be $800+ to $1,200 depending on the door I chose. Of course I chose a new door since the costs were so close and I would be out even more if the spring couldn't handle the extra weight of the repair. The new door cost was set at $825.00 installed. They asked for half up front and I wasn't comfortable with that but agreed even though I had misgivings. I had been victimized some years ago by a scam that cost me over $400 for "paying half up front" on shutters. I called a friend, a retired real estate developer and 2 other garage door companies. All said it should not take more than 2 struts to fix the door and there was no way to tell if the spring could support the extra weight. The cost was estimated to be less than $300, an offer I accepted and then canceled the order with Family Christian Doors. The salesman called me back and I thought he was quite rude and argumentative. My $412 deposit was returned. Neither Family Christian Doors or any of their representatives did anything wrong. I was just uneasy about the whole deal.

It was very good. I originally got the big deal because the outside of the door looked skewed but in the end the frame ended up being skewed. They were friendly and hard working. They were on time. I can hardly hear the door open now.

I put in a request on Sunday, and I called them around 10 am today. They had someone out here by noon. The young man is named Terry, and he showed me a few issues with the door that I hadn't noticed before. He is working in 100 degree weather to get this done for me today. I was able to use two different coupons for two separate issues in the single visit.

They did really well and we had no complaints.

The company came out and looked at the garage door. We have a large BANG when it opens and said he couldn't see anything wrong with the door. He gave us a tune up but it is still banging. It's very noise.
