Their Angieslist deal is nothing more than a paid sales call. You won't get much for your $25 other than their technician pointing all the possible future failure points in your garage door and off course suggestions that you replace perfectly good parts now so they don't fail in the future. Very nice and knowledgeable, but call it what it is, a sales pitch.

I asked them to quote repair of my door. They said nobody did doors with extension springs and chain driven doors anymore and that charges for repairs necessary would make the repair non economical. They quoted a replacement at $949 plus any custom features such as windows, insulation, or hardware. The door was a non-standard size so a delivery time of six weeks was quoted. Another garage door company came out, repaired, cleaned and performed preventative maintenance on the door in about 3 hours at a cost of $189. I think they just wanted to sell doors not maintain them.

Called to have someone look at our two garage doors that are 23 years old because one of them was shaking badly when opening and closing and the springs were stretched out on both doors. Wanted to know what was needed to repair them or if replacement was the better solution. The employee explained the options and what the new technology was and gave us the price for both options. He did not pressure us on either option, he left the door open for either decision. In the end we decided to go with door replacement due to the hazards of the old technology and probable need for future repairs. The employee was on time for the first visit and very informative, the installation was scheduled and the installers arrived on time and were very professional and did the work in a timely fashion and explained how the new doors work before they left. We did not need to buy a new garage door opener and they hooked up the old opener on the new doors. I cannot comment on the price because we did not get other estimates. I am very satisfied with this company and would use them in the future if needed.

Mika did an excellent job. He was very knowledgable, professional and gave hints for keeping up with the garage door. It works great now.

He showed up on time and was very courteous. Tuned up the garage door and adjusted the sensors and door opener. It works great and was very happy with the price!

I alerted them that a repair was needed and all was taken care of professionally. They even were able to come out earlier than planned.

They came out and repaired the door after inspecting the door. They were very professional and I have used them at two different rental locations.

Excellent overall experience. From the inital conversation with Tony to set up a Sunday appointment (how is it garage door openers always malfunction at the worst time possible?) through the installation performed by Louis, I was extremely impressed with their customer service, kindness, speed and value. I wasn't expecting to have to replace the unit but when replacing the transmitter didn't work, Louis made quick work of the full installation of a Liftmaster 1/2hp belt drive unit complete with two remotes and an outdoor remote keypad . I would recommend these guys to anyone, and already have done so with my neighbors - they inquired about my experience and were impressed with the value as well.

I was planning on doing a tune up since the time we moved into this house and Angies' list made that possible with $24 deal for the tune up. I was in comm with FCD via email and they were very helpful to work around my schedule. I had to reschedule it twice. Tai from FCD came over and as promised called me before 20-25 mins. He came and tightened the screws, sprayed the same with silicone gel and also the main spring. He was explaining me all along on what he was doing and highlighted that there was too much grease applied. He corrected my understanding that adding more grease (which the previous owner did) is not the right solution. He also suggested that it's better to do a tune up before winter and summer i.e. at least 2 times a year. He suggested that he can clean up grease but that's a separate cost. I was planning to do it myself anyways. Now the door is much smoother and is making minimal noise compared to earlier. Very fine job by FCD. Certainly would recommend them and use their services in future.

It went okay. There wasn’t anything huge that they did. It was just the basic tune-up. I was expecting more than that. It was just the Big Deal price and nothing more. They just did what they said on the deal. They did not do everything what was on the deal. They did not lubricate every part on the garage motor because mine was like almost new as I just bought my home. I thought that getting it done was a better idea than not doing it.

Garage door now operates much more quietly and will have less wear and tear on the gears and motor.

I ended up needing an entire new garage door opener installed. They still did the tune-up on the door, plus the installation. It went well. He was nice and cleaned up well. He was patient with me. I felt like they gave me a good price on the garage door opener installation. He was really honest about the type of opener I needed, which I appreciated because I felt like he wasn’t just trying to upsell me but was able to meet my individual needs.

I may or may not use them again. I felt he gave me a price for the work and when it was done he tried to sell me on more work but I declined since he did not tell me about all of the work he suggested at one time. I don't like that approach from a company.

Everything went great. They were on time. They even called when they were delayed by a few minutes at a train crossing. There was no pressure. They gave expert device which led to us deciding to upgrade our garage door springs and rollers. The work was done in a timely and professional manner.

They came out right on time and they explained what they were going to do. They made some recommendations on other things that we may need to do in the future and informed us about what it would cost for us to make those repairs.

Called on Wed afternoon and they scheduled my service for the next day. Steven called approximately 20 - 30 minutes before he arrived to let me know he was on the way. His arrival was within the estimated time I was given. He told me the cost up front so I could determine if I wanted him to complete the work. He was very professional and fixed both issues with no problems. The bracket is now secure in the ceiling and the door is so much quieter when opening and closing. Would highly recommend them and would definitely use again.

I had run into my door with my car. Randy came out and was very good. quick and thorough job of repair and tuneup. Would use them again definately.

They were excellent. It went really well. They even serviced us on the same day we purchased the Big Deal. It was very good.

I have used the services of this company in the past and was very happy. This time, I purchased their special door tune-up for a brand new home. Simple adjustment required and lubrication. When the specialist arrived he informed me that the cost would be $129/door vs the $24 advertised on Angie's List because I had cedar overlay garage doors - to be fair, the fine print of the deal stated the fact that the $24 applies only to metal doors. I asked the technician how long the service would take considering he's asking me almost $360 for 2 doors - he replied "Not long at all". We agreed on a lower price and he was done in less than 30 minutes with both doors. I find this to be a ridiculous attempt to overcharge based on having more expensive garage doors. And, besides spraying lubricant and a very minor adjustment, nothing else was done. How can you honestly justify $360 for 2 garage doors and the service taking less than 30 minutes??? Even the $100 that I paid was a ridiculous amount for what was done.

It was a Big Deal purchase. It went very well. They did honor the price of the deal. They were very professional. My husband was with them more than I was but as far as I know, they were very professional. There was one man that came out. We've used them before.
