I scheduled a tuneup using their special offer because I had a problem with the door reversing when trying to close and I couldn't determine the problem. I received a call very promptly that a technician could be there on the same day and he arrived as promised. The garage is only two years old and the opener worked fine up until around six months ago. I had to increase the down force to maximum to prevent the door from reversing. I figured that indicated a problem but ignored it as long as the door closed. Then recently the problem started again so I had to call a professional. The technician determined that my extra-wide door needed additional bracing to prevent sagging as it closed. He also suggested replacing the standard rollers with new ones with ball bearings for noise suppression. I agreed to all of the work and it solved the problem. I was able to reduce the down force to the normal setting. My only issue, which is a minor one, is that I was charged twice for the $24 tune up (didn't noticed initially) so I will need to contact Angie's List for a refund to my credit card. This is a warning to others because I had to pay for it on Angie's list and then the technician added it to my invoice. They need to be told that a payment is made to Angie's List.

It was fine and it was great. They did everything. It was very good. We had a coupon for a $29 deal and we had some other work done when he was here. It was $80 more.

It went very well. The guy was great. We like the kid who put it in. He was really nice and really personable. He did a great job. He explained it well. I probably would recommend them. The pricing is reasonable. They did great.

I have used these guys before. Called them out when my 20 year old garage door started to not close. They were there when they said they would be. He inspected the door and found numerous issues. He recommended a new door because it would solve all the issues for less money. More importantly, the issues would not come back for years. Removed and replaced the garage door springs tracks rollers, the whole thing. They did it on time for the price quoted and guarenenteed their work.

Complete tune-up on the garage door and rollers needed replacing. Very friendly and extremely polite and responsive. Will definitely use them again.

I have had them do work for me on two different locations. I have had them out often. They were prompt and punctual to the appointment. They even came back for later adjust something as well. They did a good job with the work.

I called them at about 11am to report an emergency fix I needed. Dispatch said someone would be out in 2 hrs. About a half hour later, Phil called and said he was on the way. Phil arrived and very professionally assessed the situation and got to work. The track was bent, spring cables were off their spools, and door opener was intermittant. A real mess! I never felt once that he was "over selling" me. It took him approx. 4 hrs to complete the job, and he made sure I was satisfied with his work. He went through the operation and programming of the new system and made sure I understood it. Also, he made sure I comletely understood what was covered under the warranty and what wasn't. Overall I am completely satisfied with this company.

Excellent customer service. Chad was at our home that afternoon. Very professional and quick. He took the time to explain what he was doing as well as why. Will certainly use again.

The service was good it was fine. They arrived on time. One guy came and it took about 45 minutes and the service was adequate.

Young man who came out could not determine why the opener was only responding intermittently. He thought it was the "seeing eyes" but since all seemed to be performing properly while he was here, he said there wasn't anything he could do. He did oil the tracks and talk a lot. I called another company who came out the same week and immediately pinpointed the problem although the doors were working while they were here. They followed up with another visit to make further adjustments and all has gone well since. They also tightened the chains which I thought should have been done on the first visit.

The process went great and I was very satisfied with the result. However, the pricing on the roller replacements seemed somewhat high after I looked at what they could be bought for online. However, replacing them yourself is not for the faint of heart.

This project went great from beginning to end. The customer service rep was friendly, courteous, and professional. I called on a Saturday morning and the installer arrived the same day. The installer, Chad Ramsey, was courteous and professional. He completed the work in less than 3 hours. This was definitely not Chad's first installation. He completed the entire job by himself. I would recommend requesting Chad - he really knew what he was doing. Additionally, I like to do business with local businesses in the community whenever possible. The dollars for the project stayed here in the local community and employed local workers rather than some fly-by-night crew that you'll never see again. I may have been able to find somebody that would cost less, however, I know I've got high quality parts in my opener and as much as I use a garage door, it's one of the last things I'm going to scrimp on when it comes to my house. I highly recommend Family Christian Doors.

The experience was okay. He came and greased everything and did what he was supposed to do. He gave me an estimate for a new door that I probably am going to need. He was okay, but had no personality, whatsoever. He wrote an estimate and was hum drum about answering any of my questions, but he did what he came to do. I thought his estimate for the new garage door was outrageously priced. He was on time. The price to come out and do that was great.

there's never a good time for your garage door spring to break, but Thanksgiving weekend seems particularly bad. Our usual garage servicer was unavailable, so we tired FCD and they were fantastic. From the prompt call back to their willingness to help ASAP, we could not have been more impressed with their professionalism. We called ~4pm Saturday and they had someone at our house by 7pm. He quickly replaced our spring and advised us that our rollers were worn and in need of replacement (a little bit of an upsell, but they are 20 years old, so they were worn). He replaced everything within about 2 hours and was gone. Again, I cannot be more complementary of the professionalism of everyone we dealt with. Although we hope to not need them anytime soon, they definitely won a new customer for any future garage/gate work.

They did a good job. The total cost of the work ended up being much more than expected, though.

Phil did a great job, and the garage door doesn't creak like it used to. He showed me the area on one of the cables where there was a small tear so I'll need to keep an eye on it and contact the company to get both cables replaced when the tear becomes a problem.

The came out the day I called. The work was quickly and professional done.

The initial installation was planned for the 27th of October between the hours of one and three o'clock. They showed up around one thirty (on time). They quickly brought out their ladders and did a very good job of installing the brush seal molding. It looks and functions great! When they went to install the bottom rubber seal, they found out they had the wrong type of seal. The company that installed my doors originally has been out of business for ten years. Family Christian Doors (FCD) special ordered the correct door seals. They called me when they found the right seals for the bottom of the door and told me that they could install them on Monday the 10th of November between 12 and 2 pm. Around 10 am on Monday the 10th, I got a call letting me know that the seals were out for delivery on the UPS truck. They informed me that they normally don't get UPS delivery until after 1 pm. They wanted to know if I wanted to get the seals install later on Monday or should we just set up a time for Tuesday. I opted for Tuesday 12 to 2. The FCD team showed up 10 minutes before 12 (early) on Tuesday and did an absolutely fantastic job. All of the door seals look and function as designed. I am very pleased with the work. I thought since the majority of the job was manual labor that the cost would of been much cheaper, but I was very pleased with the teams professionalism and attention to details. I think the price was probably inline with commercial pricing even though my property is residential.

My repairman was Stephen and he couldn't have been better. Knowledgeable, courteous, fast. Stephen fixed our sticking garage door that has been a bother for two years. He determined that the wrong springs were installed previously (another company) and the springs were not adjusted properly. Stephen was able to adjust the tension on these springs without replacing them, and the door works great! This 30 year old door obviously needed new rollers as well. With new rollers and fully lubricated, the door is quieter than ever. Total cost including the $24 coupon was $182.

Went very well. Called on Sunday at 2:40, said they would be out between 4&6, got here about 5, done before 6. My door spring broke, could not open it manually so my car was stuck inside. Very glad to get this done on a Sunday! I would use them again.

The whole experience was excellent!

Went very well. I have used this company to replaced a acreage entrance gate in 2013 and they did an excellent job. So, I called them again for the garage door replacement. The two installers were very neat and clean, efficient, professional and helpful when explaining the use of the various remote openers. Office staff I very professional. If I had the occasions for another entrance gate or garage door, I would use them again.
