The guy arrived on time and did a good job. He did not try to pressure me into buying more than I wanted.

Professional laborer reviewed garage doors, gave insight, and provided additional service/labor cost to really upgrade / tune-up garage door functionality. Professional had tools, parts, and went over each item planned for additional service / cost.

He came out to do the work, but didn't end up actually tuning up anything. He just wanted to spout off a list of things that needed to be replaced. I asked him to tighten the springs, at least, and he refused. He also gave me bad information about replacing panels. I was very unhappy with them, especially given their name.

Our garage door opener died and I saw the "special" on Angie's List so I called and set up a time for the inspection. The tech showed up exactly on time and performed the checkup/inspection. We then ordered the garage door opener that we wanted and he scheduled it for the next day. He arrived on time both days and installed the new opener and programmed our remote openers as well. He was very professional, polite and personable. I highly recommend this company. All in all a very good experience.

It was kinda of an emergency, 8:30PM and I didn't want to leave the garage door open all night. Thankfully FCD responded and confirmed one of their technicians would be able to serve our request. Mathew arrived earlier than expected and got to work right way. He was fast, efficient, courteous and overall very professional. He was honest in saying they aren't the cheapest provider out there but they aren't the most expensive either. But he did say they always do quality work and don't up-sell, and I would agree with him. The prices quoted to me included parts, labor and tax.

We called someone out using the $25 coupon. I knew ahead of time that I needed new rollers and other things as our garage was quite noisy when opening and closing. As expected, the technician recommended that we change several things. I requested that the rollers be changed. The work was done quickly and the noise levels reduced substantially. I gave a B on quality as the noise levels have crept back up since the work was done. The noise levels are almost back up to what they were before the rollers were replaced a couple of months ago. I'm not sure if its the door itself that is problematic or the rollers were not the best quality ones.

The gentleman was courteous and quick in his work. I bought an Angie's List coupon for a "tune-up" at a very favorable price. He recommended adding a strut to stiffen the door across an area where it drooped a little (and where there was an inherent weak point in the door). The strut took him only a few minutes to install. (I could certainly have done that myself, had I known what I was doing, but I would not have known that, so mainly I was hiring expertise.) It was all taken care of very promptly, with only a suggestion for the strut (and certainly no hard sell), and the door now works much more quietly, and I am happy that the strut has made it stronger.

Came the same day I called and fixed it right the first time.

Our garage door would not go down when using the remotes so we called Family Christian Doors. They were willing to help guide us through some steps to try and fix it over the phone and save us some money and time. They were able to get us in quickly and we received a call when the technician was on his way. He was very polite and made sure to introduce himself and shake my hand. As luck would have it, it was working just fine when he got there but he advised us on different simple reasons it might not have been working. Since he was already out at the house, we had him just tune things up and make sure everything was ok. I would not hesitate to call them again.

Honest, reliable and knowledgeable

The whole time the technician was here he tried to up sale me on my springs. Told me they will just pop unexpectedly...which I know does happen. He adjusted them to "take the slack out of the cables." He greased the rollers...he also pursued a sale of nylon rollers at nausim... As I told him over and over, I just want the tune up he gave me the special price since he was already here. "If the spring breakes when we're not here we'll have to add installation charges. As we closed our encounter, he SHOWED me a broken spring on his truck and told me he'd hate to leave and it break and asked me again if I was sure I didn't want to take care of it now. My purchase was on the 5th of May, 2015 My "service" was on the 11th of May, 2015 THE SPRING BROKE ON THE 4TH OF JUNE, just 24 days after service and being warned so fervently it might break... I am very disappointed in the "timing" of events, as well as the pressure of the sales tactic. I am not convinced that the spring "just broke." I would not reccomend this service again.

I called them out to fix my garage door. However, after they left, the garage door got stuck. I called them back out within 30 days of the original visit and they sent a senior technician. They wanted to charge me $150 for an hour worth of work. I told him to fix it, and it only took him 10 minutes but they still wanted to charge me the $150 -- even though the original fix failed. The supervisor said that my fix didn't qualify for a "free fix."

NATHAN - WAS VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE AND CUSTOMER SERVICE ORIENTED. HE EXPLAINED ALL THE WORK PERFROMED AND DID A COMPLETE INSPECTION. OF THE GARAGE DOOR AND OPENER WHICH NOW WORKS PERFECTLY. I WILL DEFINTELY USE THEIR SERVICES AGAIN IF NEEDED..

The instructions for the installation of the door from the manufacturer indicate that it is necessary for the opener to mount to a minimum 6x6 board which is attached to the studs. I discussed this with the installer because the manufacturer stated that they would not warranty the door if it was not installed to their specifications and that not installing it properly could be very dangerous. The installer did not install the door as was required. I contacted them multiple times requesting that they verify that it is installed properly. They told me that they would get back with me, but to date no one has.

the team called me back within 24 hours of purchase and got me in on the same day. Nathan was my technician and he was awesome! Great personality, knowledge of the product and provided estimates on future work that I may need such as the purchase of new springs. When dispatcher noticed that Nathan's previous job was not going to get completed in time for him to meet my appointment window, he called me and gave me the option to reschedule or come later that day. Team did an excellent job - they earned all of my future business.

We had just moved into a 16 year old home that had not received the love it deserved. The garage door screamed in pain each time it was raised or lowered. The lack of lubrication and misalignment no doubt placed an extra burden on the garage door opener and the tracks. As luck would have it, Angie's List had a special for a garage door tune-up and replacement of the door rollers. I jumped on it, and in short order Family Christian Doors was on-site taking care of the problems. The rattles from the chain drive garage door opener are still there, but the screams are gone!

Matt did a super job and was very polite and courteous. Arrived at my house within one hour of call. Was finished within 1 hour. Will use again. This is the 2nd time I've used them and have been happy both times.
