He also offered me a really good deal to go ahead and do all of the work. Best of all, he finished in time for me to catch a noon flight out of DFW!

Micah called about 15 minutes prior to scheduled arrival and when he arrived he inspected my garage door opener and made some adjustments so it now OPENS when I push the button! (Something that has NOT worked for a couple of years!!!) He also told me of some things to watch for and suggested a couple of things that will need to be replaced sometime in the future. This whole process was way more worth what I paid and Micah was a credit to this company!

I could not be happier with the service and professionalism of Family Christian Doors. When I arrived home and hit the garage door opener nothing happened. When I went in through the front door and into the garage, I found the broken door bracket and started searching Angie's List to find a repair service. I saw the great ratings and called hoping somebody could come out. Family Christian Doors sent Phil out to our house in less then 2 hours (incredible response). Phil was very professional and did and outstanding repair. He didn't even charge me for the new bracket (which was stronger then the one that broke). He tuned up my door and checked everything after the repair and adjustments....all for an $89.00 call out charge. I recommend them and gladly put their sticker up on my door. Thanks so much for outstanding service.

We were trapped in our house when our door spring broke on a Monday morning. We called FCD and a delightful young lady named Tory assured us they would get ther within 2 hours to help us. Micah was at our house within an hour and did a fabulous job repairing our door. He was professional and very knowledgable.

They came out in September 2014. We had a vintage swing in door and they put in a mounted roll up door. We were making the property ready to rent and we knew the swing arm door wasn't going to work. The price was fair. Quality of materials was an A. The installers came out and they did not have a tape measure, they could not find the center of a flat aluminum surface. They had no way to find the center. They eyeballed it and they eyeballed it so wrong that the garage door would not lock. They had to come out a second time and replace the panel that they had drilled a hole in and drilled in the wrong spot. When they came out the next time it was a different crew with a factory drilled pattern which made it lock right. The first crew told me that they did not know how to install a door unless it had one there already installed and that they didn't know what to do.

My garage door was making 2 very loud bangs everytime it went up or down and was just noisy overall. When the work was complete it was like a had a brand new door. Much quieter and the loud bangs were gone. I will use them again for anything garage door related.

Technician (Micah) arrived on-time after providing prior-to-arrival phone-call advanced notice. Services performed on a Saturday without any additional charges. Honored both Tune-Up Coupons which I had purchased from Angie's List. Additional discount for other major services/parts due to Angie's List membership. Micah was courteous, friendly, professional, informative, and efficient. Both doors now working great! Much appreciated and I highly recommend!

The guy came out to check my door - and determined that I needed a new unit as the circuit board was blown. He noticed some other things that needed replacing as well. I decided that until I had the money to get a new unit I wouldn't fix anything, and just keep opening the door manually. He said it wasn't even worth doing a tune up, and I should ask for a refund. Of course, he did try pretty hard to sell me all the new stuff, but when you don't have the cash you can't be persuaded. I got a refund. I'll probably call them again to get a new unit later.

The tech was at the house within two hours of the first call. He was very transparent and honest about what needed to be done and what did not. I would have easily agreed to additional work if he had recommended it.....but appreciate the honesty.

I bought two Deals for Garage Door Tune-up on the morning of November 5 and got a call shortly after to set a schedule. They said they could do it that day if I was home and I agreed. The scheduled arrival window was 3:00 to 5:00 and David arrived at 4:00. He called thirty minutes prior to alert me. He got started immediately after an introduction. He checked the spring tension and all the moving parts. He checked both openers and the protective mechanisms. He tightened all the bolts. I told him I was considering replacing the old rollers with new, nylon ones to reduce noise and extend the life of the system. He said he was equipped to do that and had the time. We negotiated a price of $150 for both doors. He proceeded to do the job. After finishing that he went back around and lubricated all the moving parts. The doors work just fine and are a good bit quieter.

They inspected using my automatic garage door and replaced two rollers that were causing a noise when the door was retracted. They lubricated the rollers and told me what lubrication to buy and how often and where to use it. I was very impressed with the gentleman to did the sevice and the company.

In addition to the tune ups and service on the doors so they worked properly, the tech told me about the parts of the door that were going to need service or replacement in the future. Our doors are the very basic cheapest door the builder could use (we already knew this!). The tech left info on new doors for when the time comes to replace them since I told him we had decided not to spend a lot of money repairing them. We had already decided not to throw good money after bad and would replace them if they needed major repair.

Technician was on time and professional. Evaluated situation and gave me the news that a simple adjustment wouldn't address issues. After checking with supervisor, he quoted me what I felt was reasonable for the job. After completing the work, the garage doors worked great. He forewarned me about potential issues in the future but didn't pressure me to take care of them now. Good experience and I'd use them again.

tune up for garage door - also sold me some other repairs which I am still not sure were fairly priced. Wish I had called other vendors and got a more competitive bid. Also put more pressure on me to buy other services too.

They were quick to come out. They fixed everything and tuned up the garage door and door opener. Very nice.
