We had an after hours emergency. I did a quick search on Angie's List and one of the things that i was looking for was 24/7 service without additional after hours charges. They were highly rated and I gave them a call. The person that answered was extremely helpful and provided a guideline regarding how they handle service calls. She told me that someone was close by and would come to our home in approximately 2 hours. She provided me with the name of the tech and also told me that he would be in an unmarked van, so he will call often to make sure that I know that it is him. Nathan showed up, and did a wonderful job in less than an hour. He was helpful and gave us some tips for maintenance. Both my husband and I are very pleased!

The response time was phenomenal. The workmanship was even better - the tech, Zach, was really a first class professional. And, to add, he offered excellent advice on how the parts worked, which convinced me to replace the springs and rollers. I will definitely use Family Christian Doors for my next service; in particular, I will request that Zach perform the next service.

They do a very good job, they're polite, on time, explain things well. erasonablly priced and will work with your needs.

Overall it was a pleasanrexperience the guy was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions did a great job I would hire this company again.

I requested a quote on Friday Night and had an appointment set by 10 am on Saturday. I have a written quote in hand by 3pm that day. They had to order the door. It arrived faster than promised. They installed it within a day of arrival.. Everything was easy and professional. These are good people.

Our garage door would not open and my husband's car was stuck inside. The springs that allow the door to open and close had broken. I used Angie's List and called Family Christian Doors at 8:45pm and Ty was at my home by 9:30pm. Ty was very friendly and worked quickly to repair our garage. Before the repairs were made, he presented all of our options. In addition to replacing the springs, he also inspected all of the other parts to ensure that they were working correctly. I was very impressed with this company because of the quick response time and will definitely use them again in the future.

This service call began when my vehicle was trapped in the garage due to a broke spring. Jake came out and sold me on replacing the single spring with dual heavy duty springs and new cables. The cost quickly rose above what I had estimates for and I was selling the home so I really wasn't looking to upgrade. About 3 weeks later, the surveyor noticed that the garage door was sitting about an inch and a half off of the ground while closed. This is abnormal so I called and the dispatcher insisted that Jake come back out since he did the initial repair. This was a couple of days later and we were actually in the process of moving when Jake arrived. Jake insisted his work was good and adjusted the tension on the garage door opener at one point stressing the door to the point it looked vulnerable. Jake thought it wouldn't matter since I was selling the home. He then claimed that since this adjustment was not part of what his original service call was he had to charge me an additional fee of over $80.

We were pleased with them. The technician arrived on time. He was knowledgeable and explained many things to us. He thoroughly checked and oiled everything needed. We recommend them.

The spring on my garage door broke and we couldn't get the door open. I just bought a new car which I had to leave outside and my wife couldn't get her car out. I called them @ 9 PM and set an appointment for the next day. They were here ahead of time.The techs Louis and Fidel were two of the nicest young men I've had the pleasure of dealing with in a long while. They analyzed my problem replaced the spring and found the bearings in my door were bad. The door is 19 years old. They fixed the problem. My door made horrendous noise going up and down from day one now it's as quiet as a church mouse they even provided me with a coupon I knew nothing about. I will recommend these guys to all my and they have made a customer for life.

He fixed it, I went out there and worked with him, and it just started working. He and I never knew what we did to fix it. I couldn't get the door to go up and down. He went there hooked everything up and unhooked it, and rehooked it and he turned it on, and the button was working. They were fine.

Matthew was professional, courteous, appeared to be expert, arrived on time and complete the work quickly. Training was provided on safety eye alignment.

The crew showed up early after calling and stating they were ahead of schedule. They worked diligently to get the job done.

It went fine. Initially they came to look at it and maybe they could make some changes that would solve our problem. They kind of gave us that feeling. They came out and said we needed a new door. Our door is only 8 years old. It's not like it's 20 or 30. They said it wasn't put on properly in the first place. I'd probably use them. I think they're very good.

As always, I am very pleased with a company I located on Angie's List! I am very impressed with Family Christian Doors & highly recommend them!

The technician came to perform a tune-up on our garage door but determined it needed to be repaired instead. He would have to return with a new spring. He returned the following day and installed the new spring, adjusted the door so it could be opened manually without hitting (the top of the door against the wall above it) and oiled the rollers. When he was done the door could be opened with ease manually and operating the door with the opener is now very quiet.

The service was great. Christopher was our technician. He was punctual, spent several hours on the repair and installs. The doors have worked without any problems. We probably should have shopped around a little because it was a more expensive than we anticipated, but that is on us. We went with the reviews and were not disappointed.

Great decided I needed to get hold of mfg for the 1 door

I was very pleased with the service that I received from Family Christian Doors. The provider was on time and ready to go. The weather was extremely cold and windy but that did not stop him from coming and to our home and maintaining our garage door. If I need additional work on the garage door I will definitely use them again. I highly recommend this company.

We had very prompt service-the same morning they were called. The work and price was agreed upon although, I misunderstood the total price. I assumed the 'Angies List' discounted amount would come off of the total but after the job was done and when I got the invoice, the discount had already been taken in his total price which he quoted. Even though I thought I was clear about the price of the job, it was more than I expected. I wish we would have received other quotes, preferably written quotes. It's always a good idea to receive a written quote before beginning the work. It felt a little like dealing with a "used car salesman." He was nice and professional, I just felt unclear on the price and the discounts. The repair seems to have been done satisfactorily, although, the almost $500 seems a lot too high.

Provided fixed the issue I was having and I am happy with the service.

Garage door spring had broken but since I didn't realize that, I continued to use the garage until the the bracket pulled out of the door. The tech came out and quoted me how much it was to repair it and explained to me how they would do it. When I suggested that maybe it was worth buying a whole new door, he gave me a price for that as well. I opted to buy the new door. It was installed a few days later and they came on time and did it quickly.

Great. I was having problems where the garage door would not shut consistently. He tightened all the hinge mounts, adusted the down force, adjusted the rollers, lubed the rollers and the belt. Works much smoother and more consistently.

Went well for "telling me what the problem was". Did not solve the problem because they priced it too high. Had to find someone else to come over who was reasonably priced later.

This was a $24 big deal purchase. I didn't like the rep that came out here. He did do what he had to do but I just did not like his attitude. I did not like his personality or anything like that. He was a Mr. Know-it-all and he would talk over me, like I didn't know what the heck I was talking about and he knew everything on the planet -- really smart alecky, you know. He got the garage door working. It is working fine, you know. I am going to look in to see if I really needed what he said, but not with him. I did call that company back because I was thinking about having that work done, but not to send him out. What he could do differently would be his attitude. Attitude is key. I don't know if I would use the company again in the future.
