This company did a great job with the replacement of my new garage door recently. Everyone from the sales person to the installation crew were very professional. They are a very honest and reasonable business and I would recommend them to anyone.

It was okay. It wasn't fantastic. I wouldn't call them again. They were very expensive. They did a good job on the repair but it was expensive than expected.

Trevor Peter's did an awesome job. We had an urgent matter, we could not get our car out of the garage. I sent a message to Family Christians door Sunday evening and they returned my call the same day. They worked around my scheduled and was here the next day; on time!!! I was given a fair estimated and the job was completed in about 3 hrs. I would recommend them and use them again.

great. he suggested an extra brace for the door. it is a large door and was shaking as it was lowered. that has made all the difference. now the door is very stable and is very quiet. I will have them back every 6 months.

Family Christian Door will not honor warranty We had a door installed seven months ago and it recently broke (a cable jumped off the pulley). We called and a service man arrived very quickly. After assessment he asked if we wanted an estimate. I replied it was under warranty. The service man said there was no warranty beyond springs and cable breakage. When I showed him the invoice stating there was a year labor warranty he seemed confused and called the office. Extended conversation resulted in a statement that since the door had worked for seven months the failure must have been caused by us. The on site service man said something must have jammed the door (not true). The office chose to blame the failure on the fact we have an older garage door opener (how is that relevant - it works well and the safety reverse functions). They seemed to be searching for any excuse not to honor their commitment. Apparently the Family Christian Doors written warranty is meaningless. I feel their failure to honor their commitment on what should have been a straight forward warranty repair is most unethical.

Made 3 appointments--none were kept. 1st one not kept b/c repairman in an accident; understandable. The other 2 were set at 2 hour slots [e.g., "We'll be there between noon and 2], but never showed during the 2 hour time frame. For the 2nd appointment, the man thought it was 1 hour later; the 3rd appointment, he thought is was the next 2 hour time slot--i.e. 2 hours each day were wasted because the customer waited for nothing.

Very well. The technician took time to explain everything to me as he went along. He also explained to me details of how the garage door works. I really appreciated this.

Fantastic! They were timely, profesional, and efficient. I love the new equipment. It's very quiet and the lighting is excellent. They even programmed the door opener button in my wife's car to activate the opener.

It did not go well at all. The first thing the technician told me was that the rollers needed to be replaced which was $75 each. Then he told me that to fix the problem of it going up and down he would have to reprogram it, which was fine and that was going to cost $129 plus tax. I told him to do what he had to do to repair it, but don't worry about the rollers for now. I went back into the house and about five minutes later he called me back out and said that he could not reprogram the door opener for some reason. He said that he could not get it to reprogram and that it would probably have to be replaced. I asked how much a new one would cost and he said the least expensive one that he had was $495 plus tax. I told him that I would have to reschedule for that. Then I asked him how much did I owe and he said $177. I thought for what?! He was at my house all of thirty minutes or less and the door was still not repaired. In other words, he still charged me for reprogramming the opener although he said that he could not reprogram it. Plus when he left I could not get the door to stay down at all. Whatever he did made it worse than it was before he touched it. When I called the office and told them the problem all they said was that the technician would call me and explain it to me. He did call me--two hours later. And when I told him that the door would not stay down at all, all he kept saying to me was, "I could not reprogram it". Well I knew that already, but I could not make him understand that the door was not staying down at all now. I tried to stop payment, but because I had approved it with my signature on the card, I could not stop it. That was May 1st. Needless to say, on May 4th I had to buy a garage door opener kit from Home Depot and have it installed by them for less than half of what FCD was going to charge me. Lesson learned on my part. Places with the name "Christian" attached to them are not always that in character.

They put on the incorrect spring for the size of the door

Technician was early, went right to the job had the problem resolved in mere minutes. What was great was his explanation of the issue and how he got the problem fixed

Josh was right on time. Very polite with a quick diagnosis of the problem and offered a very reasonable solution. All of the broken and aging parts were removed and replaced quickly. Josh provided a thorough review of what was replaced and tested that all was working well. The price was very fair and I couldn't ask for a better solution to our issues. I would hire them again and I highly recommend this company to others.

Micah was friendly and patient. He was there before I got home and waiting until I got home before discussing the plan with me to either fix or replace my garage door. He got me a phenomenal price and I went with the garage door and new opener. I have used FCD in the past for an outside gate and it was the same experience, 5 stars!

We hired FCD based on a referral from a friend who had used them. Our garage door broke (springs) on a Saturday, I called them Monday morning. They arrived ahead of the promised time as their schedule shifted. The service man (Micah) did a quick assessment of the issue and the condition of the door/rails. (The motor was still relatively new). He found several issues that needed to be addressed, otherwise, the life of the new springs would be much shorter. He showed me a set of packages they offer. He picked the one that covered our needs, not the least expensive, nor the most expensive, but the right one. He did the work, and it was MUCH improved in operation from several days before. FCD did great work, were transparent, and honest. I will likely use them again in the future.

Josh came out to look the job over. In discussions, I agreed with his assessment that a new door was needed (something I had been contemplating for years). The price was reasonable. Josh called to schedule and we found out a team could come out that day. The door went in beautifully, with a minor flaw (the weatherstripping folded inward). Murphy came out and had to replace it as when it folded inward it had tore. The response time and work was well done. The new door works like a dream...and doesn't should like its going to fall apart on the way down. Thank you FCD...I love your work.

Technician came out promptly and explained the issue and reason for the problem. Solution was approved by me, and even though the holidays they returned on New Year's Eve to install. Garage door is wooden and very heavy and their solution of a particular type of garage door opener worked perfectly. Will definitely use this company again.

They sent out one tech (I did not get his name) to evaluate my LiftMaster gate; he told me it was in good condition and nothing needed to be done. I asked him about programming it, and the said that since the other tech would be coming for the garage door that I could ask him to program the gate, too. There was no charge for him to come and do his evaluation of the gate. Great service! If there's ever a problem with the gate, I will call this company first for the repair job. Later, the garage door tech Matt came and programmed both the garage door and gate for me. He showed me how to connect the devices to the LiftMaster app on my phone and how to maintain the garage door on my own in the future. The door is much smoother now and makes less noise . Overall, FCD is a great company to do business with; they are honest and good at timely communication.

I called first thing in the morning for an estimated cost and Vinny answerd the phone, he was very polite and informative. The price was comparable to other places I called. They were able to schedule an appointment for installation the same day. They sent out Asa, who was very informative, polite, knowledgeable and hardworking. I will use Family Christian Door again.

They were great! Able to come out that day which was important because we were going away. Very informative, fair price and very professional.
