Description of Work: I purchased the garage door tune up for $24 from Family Christian Door. They sent Jason, out later that day. Our garage door was no longer going up & down properly without some help & buckling in the middle. Anyway, Jason came & looked at it & told me that my garage door & torsion spring was faulty & I needed a new garage door. I would have to purchase two,so that the other garage door would match, but there was nothing wrong with it! By the way, my house is almost nine years old. So the next day, I had two other companies, Angies List Best come out & tell me that they could fix it with a torsion spring conversion & some struts to stop the buckle in the middle. I went with Independent Overhead Doors that did an amazing job!!! They saved me a lot of money, besides doing a great job!

Description of Work: I need to cancel request for refund. This company came out to look at my work. As it turned out we did need the work that was on coupon. Excellent company. I will be giving a perfect review and now I have purchased additional work to my great satisfaction. I love it when I think something is not working out and it does. Your refund request is perfect part of Angie's list. I could not be more satisfied with Angie's list.

Description of Work: Family Christian Doors performed a tune-up on our garage doors that I bought through Angie's List special. They did a great job and I would definitely use them again.

Description of Work: I bought the basic inspection deal for $24 per garage door. I needed to have the wheels replaced on one garage door, as they were 14 years old, and no longer operating properly. Installation was quick, the service was professional, and I am pleased with the results. I would definitely use Family Christian Doors again.

Description of Work: was only to service the door, but took all this time to point out and write up all the things that was wrong. |I think the company was more interested in selling me a lot other things that I did not need.

Description of Work: Bought the tune-up knowing there were some other work that needed to be done. Our single garage door got a much needed tune-up and was fine. Our double door had issues and wasn't opening or closing. I had them replace opener, put new rollers on, replaced 2 old opener remotes and got a new keyless entry pad. So far, all is working well and we are satisfied with the service. Would use this company again.

Description of Work: Check and sale items I didn't need. They started with a new door, then said I needed a new garage opener, and finally sold me a new remote which didn't work the day after they sold it to me. They would not refund my money... Come to find out the door was in lock mode so it wouldn't close with the opener. I had to call another company to help me figure it out. Out $50 dollars extra for a remote that I didn't need. The service guy was rude and try to tell me a needed a new door, new opener and remote!!! This isn't a Christian company concerned about the customer... This is a Christian company concerned about scamming money off the customer!!! Never Ever would recommend this company to do business.. Not even to my worst enemy!

The technician did try to "upsell" me, which I expected, but he was not insistent or pushy and did not overstate the need for additional products or services. I will use this company again if I need service.

Description of Work: We hired them to tune up our garage doors. The coupon was only for one door, so we paid extra for them to tune up the second door. The technician cleaned and lubricated all the mechanisms. He recommended we replace one of the doors as it was balky, even after the tuneup. We will likely do so this summer.
