Called Family Christian Doors on Saturday and the phone was immediately answered by Ryan. He quickly set up an appointment for Sunday morning. Brandon Blackmon, the Garage Door Technician, finished the repair in approximately an hour and provided a through explanation of what was repaired. Brandon was very professional, polite and patience - rare qualities in today's "lick and a promise" repair world. The cost was lower than expected especially when you take into consideration the work was done on a Sunday morning. My wife and I are very pleased and we would definitely hire this firm again.

I ask for recommendations on Nextdoor site and was told this company was "the best", so I called on Friday afternoon and was given an appt on Monday morning, which I thought was great, but a little later they called me back saying they had a tech who had finished his previous job early and could come Friday if I'd like. Chris S. came over and fixed the problem very quickly and professionally. He was very nice and obviously knows what he's doing. The whole experience was GREAT! They truly are the best! And I highly reccomeommend them.

The young man that came out arrived on time and was very polite and professional. We did not feel like he was trying to upsell us on other products. He did mention that our door was in need of lubrication and showed my husband how to perform this maintenance as well as pointing out some wheels that may need to be replaced at some point in the future.

Micah was professional, punctual and incredibly knowledgeable. He explained the service I had purchased, and did a full analysis of the door, its opener and the hardware. He repaired a problem we've had for two years (it was, of course, a simple fix...we should've called them sooner!). And identified a spring that was on the verge of failing. He made sure I understood the problem, showed me how he came to that diagnosis, and I agreed that it needed to be taken care of. He gave me the option of not repairing it, no hard sell, but did inform me what the possibilities were if I did not do the repair. He did also (at my questioning) educate me on the doors, how the openers work, the most common problems associated and how to combat/prevent them. I feel like he gave me so much more knowledge than I paid for! I basically got a class in garage door openers and doors. It was awesome!! All said and done, he was profoundly courteous, professional and worked hard. And our garage door works better (and soooo much quieter) than it has in years! Thank you, Micah!

Chad came to my house on time. He repaired the broken spring and advised me that due to the additional weight of door insulation material I need another spring to support the door. He installed two springs in no time and replaced all my worn hinges to reduce the noise. He was very professional and made sure my garage door working properly. The company also gave me the $50 discount(coupon) as advertised in Angie's List.

Called on a Sunday and they came out same afternoon. Replaced a garage door spring for $323 ($174 for a single spring and $129 for labor plus other parts). Unfortunately, I didn't have time to shop around ( my fault) but realized after the fact that others in the area are quoting $150-$250 for similar service. So, if you need someone in a hurry, You definetly should consider FCD. However, if you have time and are price conscious, you might want to get a quote from a few others first. Rated quality as a C as replacing the spring is a typical activity and their service was on par with what I would have expected.

The customer service was fantastic. The spring broke on a Sunday, and I had work in the morning so I wanted to get it fixed quickly to make sure I could get my car out. I called and within 90 minutes, Steven was out to my house to look at my door, explain what needed to be done and got to work in my hot garage. All work was completed in about 45 minutes, and the quality of work looks great. I didn't have the opportunity to get competitive prices, which is why I gave a B on price. Overall, it was a great experience and I would definitely recommend them to others.

Door now works great and is significantly quieter. Technician arrived on time and was very knowledgeable about my door and its operating mechanism. He quickly diagnosed the problems with the door and made a suggestion on how to improve the operation of the door and reduce maintenance in the future. He also pointed out where I can expect to see problems in the future and what to look for. I used his suggestion on roller replacement and I'm impressed at how smooth the door operation is. I have already told my kids to use Family Christian Doors if they have any problems in the future. Absolutely no problems recommending this company to others. The fact that they are a christian run business is icing on the cake for me. Thank you very much for the help.

It went fine if what I was told is accurate; I relied on trust. The garage door and existing spring is 6 years old. According to technician, I had the wrong size spring this whole time. Door works fine since service, hopefully I did need the new spring.

I am rating responsiveness as B, because they didn't call me to schedule appointment, I had to approach them. Everything else went very well. Did a great job. Gave a lot of useful information & tips for maintenance. The guy was very knowledgeable!

Installer installed a 1.75" x .207 x 27" LH spring as a replacement because that's the closest he had on the truck at the time. Spring does appear to work properly but I am concerned that it will not last as long as the original spring (26 years). The cost was a little more than I had expected but I didn't have time to shop around so I agreed. I have ordered the correct spring and will replace it myself the next time it breaks.

The guy was there for 45 MINUTES, OR LESS and the bill to replace 2 springs, and labor was $450. This came out to $170 FOR 45 min of LABOR. Do not for a second believe the nonsense that there is no "service call" fee- they just roll that into the cost. Do you, the reader, make $170 in 45 minutes? Do you make EVEN CLOSE to that amount in your job? You probably don't unless you're a surgeon. This was a big rip-off. Call a local place, get SEVERAL ESTIMATES before hiring anyone. For this repair, they give a whopping 30 DAY WARRANTY ON LABOR. So if it comes of track again in 31 days? Tough luck....after shelling out $450. After this experience, I called another co to see what they would've charged. It was CONSIDERABLY less.

They were very good. The guy worked very hard to get my door to work. In fact, I just bought a new garage door opener recently based on that experience with them.
