They were on time, prompt. Explained work needed. Obtained new door. Installed promptly. Left a can of lube (nice touch) to keep it functioning well. They used good parts and warranty work.

The old garage door opener finally bit the dust during the very cold weather, and couldn't be repaired. FCD came out promptly, even on the weekend at no extra charge. They were very professional, friendly and we felt safe/secure with them working in our house. They did a great job and cleaned up completely. I will definitely use FCD again and highly recommend them to all!

The spring of the garage door was broken. I was having terribly cold weather coming in. So, I talked to them at 2.00 pm in the afternoon. They told me that they could come out only the next day. I explained that it was an urgent requirement. They came out at 10.00pm in the night, without any extra charges. They fixed my door and they did a great job with it. They charged $250 to replace two springs. It was a good price. I really appreciate them and I?ll use them again.

Excellent. David arrived on time, was very professional, took the time to explain what was wrong and what he would do to fix it. He had all the parts with him and it didn't take long at all. We plan to call the company when we need anything regarding our garage door.

The experience was great. Brandon is a great man of God, who uses his business to glorify him. Setting that aside, the job was a very difficult one, with the middle post failing because of the foundation issues. The trim was extremely uneven, and the garage doors themselves were so bad, they were being held together with rope. My expectations were very low. But, Brandon and his crew did an outstanding job correcting the problem, and the new door, with the corrected trim makes it look like a completely different house. They were on time, friendly, stayed until after 8pm until the job was finished, and they were very easy to reach at all times. Would HIGHLY recommend.

My husband and I live in the Chicago area and were looking to find someone to repair my Mother's garage door opener. We called Family Christian Doors because of the great testimonies and service that was on Angie's List. From the very first hello, I was amazed at the friendliness and courteous manner of Brandon. Of course, us being fellow believers in Jesus Christ made it a joy to converse with him. He set up the appointment and a wonderful assistant named David went to my Mom's house but didn't at the time have the parts needed to replace the system. They rescheduled to come back out within a few days and David returned and fixed it perfectly. They really made my Mom feel very at ease and she is very pleased with their work. We will definitely use them again and would recommend them to ANYONE who ever needs service on their garage doors.

When the garage door came off track, I immediately went to AL to find a service provider. Brandon answered the phone right away and scheduled David for the afternoon. David went to work immediately and had it fixed in no time. He went above the call of duty with resetting the remotes for me. This is a great organization.

David did an excellent job. A true professional. Will call again for future work at other properties.

First, let me say that Brandon was a pleasure to work with from start to finish. He promptly returned calls and performed the work for me in a very professional manner. Being a female, I run into many service people that talk "dumb" to me like I cannot understand the mechanics of how a gate works. Brandon explained everything about the gate and why the original construction of the gate had failed. He and his crew replaced four bolts that hold the gate with stronger bolts to account for the extra weight of the solid-front gates. I also told him that the battery in the opener was not holding a charge and I was having to manually charge it. Within a few minutes, he diagnosed the problem and replaced the trickle charger that had gone out. I could not have been happier with his prompt, smiling service...it is nice to know people like this still exist!!!

The work went well and the estimate was accurate. They arrived on time, performed the work in a timely manner and made sure that we understood how to use the opener before they left. The door has been working flawlessly since.

The spring broke on Friday 7-3. I called Family Christian Doors at 1 p.m. on Saturday 7-4 expecting just to schedule a time. They were available and the price was right. They arrived at 3 p.m., repaired the door and were gone in 30 minutes. Their service was very professional in every way.

Brandon is a joy to work with. He's an upstanding guy who seems to operate his business on honesty and integrity. I called early Monday morning and requested service. He said he had an opening between 12-2 that didn't work for me so he offered 2-4. Around 3pm I received a phone call from him letting me know that it didn't look like he was going to be able to finish what he was working on to get over to our house by 4. So even though he didn't show up between 2-4 like he had said early that morning, he recognized that early and called me to let me know. This is why he got an A for punctuality - even though he didn't end up at our home on time we were notified in what I felt like was a timely fashion. He arrived around 4:35 or so, we talked about the issues I was having - garage door only went part of the way up. He suggested some things to do both short and long term and once I okay'd the repair he got to work. Another nice thing about him is that he was careful to suggest long(er) term solutions but certainly wasn't pushy about getting you to buy them. He was probably here for about an hour. Once he was done, he let me know and we went over the things that took place. Oiling all joints, chains, coils, etc that related to both of the garage doors and replaced a spring on our larger unit. He also found that a bolt was missing from our smaller unit and replaced it just because it was the right thing to do and it needed it. He was more than happy to explain everything again to my husband who had gotten home from work in the mean time. He wrote up his invoice, accepted payment and went about his way. Of all the contractors I've dealt with lately, this was one of the most pleasant experiences yet. I wish contractors were all like Brandon - if they were, getting things repaired wouldn't be viewed as such a hassle. Other contractors should take notes.

Family Christian came on a Friday evening and replaced the garage door springs & did the tune-up after I called them around 1:00 pm the same day. I had guests in from out of town, and had dinner plans and didn't want to wait around until they finished the job they were working on. They agreed to come and do the repairs and leave me an invoice, after I had offered to leave a check. I thought this was extraordinary in todays pay me now times, but they did an excellent job. The door was quiet as a mouse when they got done with the work. I will definitely call them again when I need work done on the garage doors/openers.

I had read good reviews about Family Christian Doors. The handyman was a very religious and nice person. He was very responsive and also took care of a problem that arose shortly after he had left. He had done more than what we had asked, and his price was also reasonable. He had also explained why the garage door was having problems in the past.

Unbelievably well. Called at 2 pm and it was repaired by 8 pm that same evening. Even did extra work on a second garage door for free!

Great. The technician came out and fixed the door and did some extra things to keep the door from jamming again.

It was a very cold day when Brandon came to our house. He continued with the job as if it was 80 degrees outside. Brandon gave us quotes from new garage doors to replacing worn out parts. At this time we decided to go with parts replacement and adjustments on the door. Brandon is so nice and pleasant and a true professional.

The cables on my garage door came off the runner and the rollers were coming off. Brandon fixed the cables, rollers, advised me on what was going to wear out next, and most importantly adjusted the "force" it opens and closes with so its safe around the kids. I've used him before and had great results then too. Highly Recommended. A+++ work and value.

Mr. Bailey answered the phone himself, was very friendly and professional and said he would come right over. He called my wife at our house, scheduled a time and showed up promptly. They fixed the problems and did not attempt to sell parts or services that were not needed. Mr. Bailey was very energetic and happy to explain the repairs to my wife. He made some recommendations regarding potential future problems but did not try to force any additional sales. Overall, this was one of the most painless repair experiences we have had in a long time.

Garage door works better than it did before... Runs smoothly & much more quietly...

They were prompt, communicated well, and advised me on what was important and what was not. Communicated well and worked around my schedule. Did a A+ job. Recommended.

They were wonderful. I couldn't be more pleased. The worker had a great attitude and was very positive. I was also stunned at how cheap the price was. If I ever need my garage door fixed again, I would call them back. They were also very prompt in coming to the house.

He made suggestions of work I would need in the future but not in immediate danger of failing. He also game my door a great tune up and I cannot hear a sound out of it. It is so smooth and quiet. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND HIM. I will use again him always.

I called Brandon in the late afternoon. He said he could be here by 7:00 - 7:30. He was on time. He looked over the garage door which was pretty messed up due to my husband backing into it. He gave us an estimation of $120.00 and said it would take him about 1 hour to complete. We were surprised he said right away it could be fixed with no problem instead of trying to replace the whole thing, even though it was 17 years old. We were more surprised that he could do the repairs then, not at a later date. He did everything he said he would. He went above and beyond by resetting several garage door openers for me at no additional cost. He was very polite, friendly, helpful and made some suggestions for in the future. We paid the estimated $120.00 and felt like we got a deal. He was very reasonably priced. Will continue to use him in the future and will pass his name on.

Outstanding! Brandon was called at about 2:00 p.m. and was at my home working on the door by 2:30 p.m. He was a very pleasant, courteous young man with a great attitude and strong work ethic. He assessed the situation and got right to work, completing the job in just over two hours. He wasn't a nuisance, but shared with me all his recommended changes (like new rollers) before completing the work. The garage door was transformed from one that shook the house to one that sounded as smooth and quiet as a new door assembly. I would, without a doubt, recommend his company and work to my friends.
