The service and their price were both good. I would give them an A overall. I would use them in the future.

Very responsive to my first call, scheduled for the next day, arrived on time. (The first company I called had only voicemail, so I called FCD and they answered, so they got the job). Communicated very clearly what the issue likely was and recommended replacing the unit, which we did. Threw in a garage door service at no charge and lubricated hinges, etc. as needed. Tried to sell us new rollers for $100, but we didn't purchase them as the door isn't that old. Both the service technician and the office communicated well. Very professional firm. Would use them again.

I don't remember the price but it was very good. They did a very good job. They even came afterwards to check on it. My overall experience with them was very good. I didn't have anything to complain about. The quality of their work was very good. I had to call them back one time to have it redone. They came and did not charge me anything for it. Their punctuality was very good. They told me that they could not do it one day but then they called back and had an opening for me. Their professionalism was very good. I will definitely use them again in the future. I even recommended them to one of my friends.

I don't know if I've ever had a more positive experience with a service provider! I called around noon and the customer service representative was very knowledgeable, responsive, and polite. Not only did they have what I needed in stock, but they were available to do the installation on the same day. They even accommodated my request to have the work done that evening when I was home from work. The installer (Micah) arrived on schedule and reviewed options with me. He was also very knowledgeable and he made recommendations without being pushy. He was polite, respectful and explained everything he was doing. He completely cleaned up the area upon completing the job and hauled off the old unit. Most importantly, our garage door now works splendidly ... quiet, smooth, better than I ever expected it to. I couldn't be happier with the service Family Christian Doors provided and I would highly recommend them!

My 23-year-old garage door and opener decided to self-destruct including throwing guide wheels, breaking springs, among other problems all at once. I was preparing to hear that I needed a new door but when Jason came out he took time to show me what had caused the door to break and explained my options. I decided to let him replace all the rollers with high quality nylon coated rollers with ball bearings and he replaced my old opener with a new belt drive unit along with new springs. He even installed weather striping to keep cold air from blasting around the door. The best part of Jason's service was that everything he recommended and installed works better than I could have imagined. We recently experienced low temperatures and high winds but you couldn't tell inside the garage. I’ve never seen a garage door open and close so quietly. Before he left, Jason taught me how to maintain my door so it will give long service. I highly recommend Family Christian Doors and suggest that everyone ask for Jason.

Scheduled appointment for 2-4 window on 11-21-11. Technician called saying he was running late (for some reason he originally believed the appointment was for 4- 6 window). So we changed to the 4-6 window (no problem, I left work early so my wife could leave to run errands). At 6:13 I contacted the technician who was still at the another job site. I cancelled at that time. Really nice folks on the phone but not receiving a second "heads up" call is unacceptable.

Both times my call was answered promptly and courteously. Very reasonable dates were scheduled and the appointments were kept as committed. Ryan was the technician on both calls. I was so impressed with the quality and professionalism of his work on the first call, that I was pleased when he arrived to install the insulation kit. I will use FCD again this spring when I have the gasket around the door replaced.

I place my service order and was called back by the company within 30 minutes to schedule and appointment...that day. By the way, it was late afternoon on Saturday to boot! The scheduler said to anticipate the repairman within 2 hours. 15 minutes later, he called to inform me that he was on his way.The young man arrived, arrived at a solution to our garage door problems, gave an appropriate estimate, and did the repairs. He also took the time (and charged me fairly as well) to repair our single door opener. He not only fixed the garage door spring issue, but he also serviced both the double and single door, including lubricating the chains and rollers.Overall a very good experience. Timely, efficient, friendly, relatively affordable. Would definitely use again.

AWESOME EXPERIENCE! When looking for a service provider for your garage door needs, no need to look any further - this company provided EXCELLENT customer service! Our journey began with a late night call to this company (9:30 p.m. Monday night) after we damaged our garage door and found out that we would have to replace it in its entirety. In less than 24 hours we had a beautiful & stylish garage door installed! The garage door we selected would normally be custom order with a waiting period of 2 weeks, however, Tony Green was able to locate one for us right away. Thank you Tony for your oustanding customer service with the late night call (and the calls into the next day) thank you also for taking time to discuss our situation, for your assitance in selecting the right door for us and for setting up such a quick installation appointment! Great experience! My technician called and asked if he could come a little early! How great is that! He educated me on how my door opener actually worked, the issues he saw and gave me options for repair. No high pressure or coersion. He also gave me tips on maintainence and discussed different types of openers and the pros/cons of each. Left a sticker by the switch to open the garage door so I would have a reference. Definately will call them back for a new opener. The door sounds so much better and works so smoothly!

Good. They answered my call at 6 pm and were out working on the door by 7pm. The price did seem a little high, but when you factor in that they don't charge an after hours fee, I felt like it was a fair price. The tech seemed knowledgeable and the door works much better now. He also showed me how to lubricate the door/springs/rollers to prevent future damage.

After pulling into our garage at 12:30 Saturday afternoon and hearing the garage door bang onto the ground when I pushed the button, I was certain we would have to wait until Monday to avoid an after hours emergency service call. After searching on Angie's list for a few minutes FCD was the only company near us who offered 24 hour service, 7 days a week with no additional charge! From the second Brittany answered the phone, to the moment Brent the technician left my house, the entire experience was extremely pleasant and professional. Brittany first offered to send someone immediately, but I told her that we had managed to raise the door ourself and that anytime today would work. She promised to have someone at our house between 2 and 4 pm. Brent knocked on my door at 2:18! After a few minutes, he explained the problem, what needed to be replaced and the cost. When I inquired about about new openers compared to replacing parts, he offered three different options and warranties, never with a hard sell, just simple facts and explanation. We ended up choosing a new opener (using the coupon on Angie's list). After installing, he explained the components of the new system, a few maintenance problems with our existing door and things we could do to sustain it's life and that of our opener. It wasn't until I asked did he finally start talking about replacing the door and the costs of doing so. In short, compared with prior experiences we had with two other companies who basically tried to scare us into buying a door from them at that very moment, FCD was a dream! We will definately be using FCD (and Brent) in the coming months when we finally do replace our door.

If you need a new garage door or door service look no further. We decided to replace our garage door during a major exterior remodel. We received two quotes from highly rated Angie's list companies and chose FCD, the transaction could not have been any smoother. We first spoke with Tony over the phone and he gave us detailed information on our options. The field sales person was responsive and personable but not high pressure, he provided good information on the company and more important what differentiates FCD from their competitores in a professional manner. Josh our installer was on time and did a wonderful job installing the door and left the area spotless. He then spent 20 minutes explaining and demonstrating proper door maintenance. He commentated that with a few minutes of maintenance every 6 months we would avoid costly repairs in the future. A great product at a fair price!

I got five estimates over several months. FCM blew the other guys away with their professionalism alone. From the people who answer the phone to Joey who looked at my old doors and gave me an estimate I enjoyed my experience with this company. The techs who actually did the job were professional and knew what they were doing. The job went without a hitch. I will highly recommend them to my friends.

I called Saturday afternoon at 3:30 thinking that we would be scheduled for Monday. They said they could have a technician out that day. Technician called to say he was 33 miles away, but he was on his way. When Bryon arrived he thought he could just replace a part even though we thought we needed a new garage door opener. Once he got into our existing garage door opener it didn't have the standard part (we had an older model), so he had to install a new garage door opener after all. Bryon was very knowledgeable, courteous and did the job pretty quickly. I appreciate that he offered a repair rather than installing a new opener, and when it didn't work he showed us the parts and explained why he couldn't just repair it. I will definitely use Family Christian Doors if we need anything else done to our garage door!

Great company to do business with from the persons I spoke with to the man who came out and installed my new door, on time, great work and a great price, would highly recommend them.

Our previous garage door was installed incorrectly. Over time, the lift bracket tore off the top of the door and bent the top panel. After reading the reviews of this company, I thought this company was too good to be true but I'd give them a shot. I called FCD and Johnathan came out later that morning. He gave me the most economical way to repair the garage door but gave me several other options as well. He did not try to push or sell anything. I decided on just replacing the whole garage door and opener with a coupon on Angie's List. Johnathan was very patient and gave me estimates while I picked out the custom garage door and windows. He placed the garage door order which would take ~2 weeks to get in. To my surprise, Phil at FCD called later that same night and said they actually had the door and hardware in stock and could be out the next day to install! This was a custom door design!! I was shocked! Jason came out the next morning and installed the new door and opener. He was so personable and even helped me clean the garage and take down a tacky florescent light the pervious owners had installed. Wow! Amazing! These guys really do exist! I have never had a contractor/ company be this efficient, professional, and overall pleasant to work with! A+++!!

After a power outage our garage door began opening by itself the same time everyday. I contacted Family Christian Doors, via email, after seeing their rave reviews. I received a response almost immediately and an in-house estimate was scheduled for the next day. Josh, the technician, called that morning to let me know he was on his way and his estimated time of arrival. He showed up right on time and was very professional. After looking at our garage door he explained to me the problem and provided me with an estimate for a new opener. I received a follow up email from FCD checking to see if I had any questions about the estimate. My husband and I decided that we wanted to install a different opener than the one that we received the quote for so I called FCD on Saturday morning to see if they had the specific opener we wanted. They did and were able to schedule the installation that same day, they also scheduled Josh to do the installation since he was the original technician. Josh called to let me know he was at another job and it was taking longer than anticipated and that he would be a little late. When he arrived he got right to work, unfortunately the opener that he brought was faulty and he let me know as soon as he realized it. He explained to me what was wrong with it and let me know that he would come back out to replace the faulty opener. FCD called me early Monday morning to schedule the appointment for the next day. Unfortunately the replacement opener was also faulty, Josh was very apologetic and was determined to make sure we had working opener that day. After a few hours, and a lot of work on Josh's part, we had a brand new fully functioning opener! Josh gave us a discount on the opener and also replaced our rollers and brackets on the garage door at no cost because of the problems that we had experienced. None of the issues that we encountered were the fault of Family Christian Doors, however they handled them quickly and made sure we were informed every bit of the way. I would definitely recommend them and will use them again in the future. I have not dealt with a company as customer oriented as them in a very long time.

Needed 2 parts for my malfunctioning garage door opener. The lady who answered the phone had the most pleasant voice. She gave me directions and quoted a price for the kit containing the parts I required. The lobby area was very nice, with soothing music. Their technician explained how to do the job or offered to come-out and do it for me. I chose the former, because the kit had instructions. I was in and out within 10 minutes. A really good experience.

I called the office in the afternoon. They told me they might be able to get a technician out that same afternoon. They did and he was there in less than 2 hours from my phone call! He was very helpful and explained everything he was doing. He also took the time to educate me - what type of lubricant to use and how often; what type of doors I have and contrasted them with other types of doors; cost of replacement and when that might be necessary. He provided a lot of helpful information and fixed the doors nicely. Great experience!

OUTSTANDING!! Jonathan Kelley spent half a day completing the work and did a great job. VERY impressed with this company! Prices are very reasonable when SO many in the garage door business are gouging and "ripping off" people. This company is now "my garage door company" and i am going to recommend them to both my children and our friends. Bottom line is that these people adhere to good old fashioned christian values in their business which includes fairness, honesty, integrity and love for your fellow man. TOTALLY refreshing!!!!! SENIOR CITIZENS: this company offers you a 5% discount--it saved me about $50!!

The garage door spring broke on Sunday evening. Opening the door was a real chore without one of the 2 springs working. I reviewed the best companies identified on Angie's List. It was difficult to select from the available candidates based on the glowing Angie's List reports. However, I specifically did NOT select the company that had performed the maintenance on the door in January. I had purchased the garage door maintenance deal through Angie's List. I called FAMILY CHRISTIAN DOORS after 10 pm on Sunday, and left a voice message. A couple minutes later, the company surprisingly returned my call. (These guys really need to get a social life.) I scheduled a repairman to arrive the next morning, and they arrived within the 2-hour window as discussed. The repairmen reviewed the situation, and explained the options for replacing one or both garage door springs in a clear and understandable manner. However, Bryon also stated that he could not provide info on any other recommended repairs until he saw the door working. As expected, based on the reports I read in Angie's List, Bryon recommended replacing the garage door rollers, which I agreed to. These may be the original garage doors on this 24-year-old house. It seemed like to best option. The agreed-upon price was comparable to other prices listed in the Angie's List reports. Normally, I would have paid using a credit card -- which I understand provides better protection in the event of a future dispute with the company. However, Bryon requested a check, which I did not have a problem with. If I did not have the reports from Angie's List -- or AL's leverage for handing disputes -- I might not have agreed. Bottom Line: FCD was extremely professional from start to finish. The garage door is quiet and works great! The dog can barely tell when I return home.
