 + 2 moreDespite the small residence this was a big job. Sergio was our main point-of-contact from estimate through execution. He listened to our wishes and offered great suggestions when needed. Sergio and his crew faced their challenges with a small attic and existing walls that didn't provide easy access to all areas. They overcame all obstacles though and finished all of the scheduled work in about three and a half days. They were prompt and courteous. Sergio was and continues to be an excellent communicator. We still have some minor tasks to be completed but they are pending us completing kitchen cabinet installation, etc. We will without question contact Dependable Electric for any remaining electrical needs.
Description of Work: Complete house rewiring. We purchased a 1962 single-story home in Hurst. A vast majority of the homes original wall outlets were 2-prong. Dependable Electric upgraded all 2-prong outlets to grounded 3-prong outlets. They upgraded all kitchen outlets to current electrical code including grounded outlets, GFCI's, and separate appliance circuits. They installed four dimmable LED can lights with two 3-way switches in living room, installed two 3-way switches in hallway, installed four dimmable LED can lights with two 3-way switches in kitchen, installed separate can light and switch above kitchen sink, installed wiring for switch controlled under-counter LED lights in kitchen, installed LED can light in bathroom shower ceiling, relocated bathroom vanity light switch & GFCI outlet, installed two outlets in garage to power two garage door openers, and removed old wiring where needed.

 + 0 moreI called Dependable Electric around 9:30 on 10/23/2015 and left a number for him to call back. Joe called back in about an hour and I explained the situation with my cook top. He said he could get to me that same day between 12-2 pm. He arrived on time diagnosed the problem and began the repair. He finished the job, cleaned up and left. I was disappointed that he did not get back with me regarding information on landscape lighting. I had asked if he did landscape lighting, he said he would get back with me with that information. He has not as of this date 10/27/2015. Over all things went well.

 + -1 moreThe owner gave us his bid over the phone and stuck to it. We are moving and our buyer's inspector requested these electrical fixes for the buyer. Because of a project that took longer than expected, the owner called us the night before and asked if it was okay for them to come out later than planned-10:30 instead of 8:00am. (I actually liked the later time) They were here promptly at 10:30, were very professional and did excellent work. They also happen to be nice guys. We compared them with two other prices we received over the phone and Dependable's was the best. I have acquired the services of other electric companies in the past, and I would hire this company over any of them and recommend them to anyone. Alfredo and Alex (the A team) are great! :-)

 + 0 moreCalled Dependable (amongst others) for a bid for work on a commercial building. Extent of work was quite large, involving pretty much all of the lighting around the building. Ended up choosing Dependable, not only for the reasonable pricing, but the good job Luis did with the initial estimate visit. Luis also headed to two-man team for the actual work and all work was completed on time as promised. Would definitely recommend at least getting a bid from Dependable when looking to get some electrical work done. Good job!

The guys did perform a free, electrical inspection. Thank goodness, they did because there were some problem areas that we needed to fix (too many extension cords in a few areas). We were extremely satisfied with the services and would recommend them.

I don't think I was overcharged; he did not charge me a trip charge or for material. He was sick one day and had to go home so maybe that's why he did that. I will use them again in the future.
