Description of Work: Backing up toilet - I had called another plumber - their job was awful and their work did not last. AAA Auger fixed my problem both inside and outside and explained how to take care of the toilet for future reference. I was brand new to this house and did not understand the workings of it. They came out over the weekend as I remember. I don't remember the exact date.

+ -1 moreThis was the third time that I used this plumber. I think that I may have booked with one of their other locations the first two times. The work was good and lasted less than an hour. Compared to previous times, I felt that their price was out of line, but had nothing to compare it with. After the plumber arrived, I was given a price for him to do the job, but was never given an hourly rate or an itemized cost for parts.
Description of Work: Installed fill valve and flapper in bathroom. Installed new double cup basket strainer for cast iron sink in bar.

+ -1 moreChris of AAA Augur quickly repaired that leaky shower the AHS guy refused, and replaced a second shower head too. MOST IMPORTANT OF ALL, he quickly repaired a very expensive Moen kitchen faucet that was leaking. We were afraid we would have to replace it, and it matched a second faucet at the prep sink. That's why we ditched the American Home Shield policy and went with folks we'd used before. Chris showed me the parts he used and the ones he replaced, told me I have a 3 month warranty and was altogether a personable and helpful guy. We've used this company for years in our old house and we love them! They are our go-to plumbers!
Description of Work: Chris fixed three problems for us in the bouse we bought a few months ago. We had had American Home Shield guy on a leak in our back shower, and he REFUSED to do it, saying he was afraid to disturb the wall (AHS had authorized two repairs, and he did the other, which was a repair to our icemaker line that had been crimped.

+ 0 moreIt was an excellent experience. Eugene came out on a Saturday with no additional fee. He explained their charges upfront and if any reason you do not want their services they will not charge you for the estimate. They also don't charge for any travel fees. Eugene was extremely knowledgeable. He left my home clean and left no supplies behind. He was also professional, courteous, and experienced. AAA Auger also provided me with a 30 day grantee on their services. If there is a blockage within that 30 days they will come and repair for no additional fees.
Description of Work: I had an online coupon which gave me a discount. We had a sewer pipe blockage and Eugene from AAA Auger unclogged the block.

+ -1 morediscovered water in the carpeting in the 2 front bedrooms. Thinking it was a slap leak I called AAA Auger. Without doing any preasure testing the employee guaranteed it was a slab leak. He wrote up a repair order for ~$2,100 and said he would be back the next day to start the repairs. He stated that once the work commenced I would be responsible for the charges. I did not have proper tool to turn the water valve off in the front yard. The next morning before leaving to purchase the tool I recalled I needed furnace filters. The furnace/AC unit is between the 2 BR's that had water on the carpet. I opend the door and found the drain pipe for the AC condensation was blocked and spilling water. This was the cause of the water in the BR's. I called Rand R Air Conditioning in Grand Prairie, whom I have used and HIGHLY RECOMMEND. They flushed out the drain and my problem was solved. AAA Auger did no pressure testing, did no inspection to verfy a slab leak. They were prepared to haul in their jack hammer and... HAMMER ME IN THE WALLET!!! Never do business with these people!

+ -1 moreI thought that the charge was too much for half an hour's work for cleaning out a drain and trap but I didn't argue with him since he was just a worker. I wrote out the check and called the company after the guy left. It is a big company and they called me back later to enquire about the service. I told the girl who had called that the service was great and he did a great job but I just thought that it was way overpriced and that I was overcharged. She asked me as to how much I had been charged and I told her about the charge and what work he had done. She told me that there was an extra charge for getting on the roof. He used a ladder that he had in his truck and he was in and out of here in about 45 minutes. It was very expensive and I will never call them again.
Description of Work: I used AAA Auger of Fort Worth for cleaning out the drain and trap in my kitchen. He had to get up on the roof to clean the drain.

+ -1 moreThey came out the first day to do some work and were very efficient, put down protectors and were very good about cleaning up after themselves. They installed the toilets too close to the wall so I called their manager and had them come back out the next day to fix. The second day was completely different. They didn't put down protectors and got dust all over my home, they didn't clean up anything. The toilet leaked and they placed my rug under it to soak it up. Very unprofessional. When they left they wrote an "X" on my garage for some reason? Wouldn't use that company again.
