Initially I was impressed with the seemingly professional installation service; other than the delay in getting the install started. However, after closer inspection I realized the job was less than acceptable. There were gaps where the vinyl was improperly cut, nail heads and staples left in the quarter-round molding,obvious signs of pieces of debris causing bumps in the vinyl, improperly cut molding (gaps/uneven cuts/etc), sections of flooring "ballooning" up due to the concrete not being floated as promised and corners not adhering properly. After calling for the workers to return they agreed but again there was a delay. Following that call there were still problems so they had to return again and again. (I lost track of the exact number of calls) There were yet issues not resolved and when I requested they come back again I was told they might "have to charge me for the excess mileage to my home" - this, after they agreed to do the job and warranty the installation labor for a period of one year (without having ever mentioned charging a 'service call'). I told them I would not pay extra charges but that I expected prompt service. I was then told they would get to me 'as soon as they had another job in the area'. I let this go on for several months then advised them I expected a call to resolve the issues before the end of the year. The initial installation was in June, 2011. The owner attempted to intimidate me and say they would take care of the matter when they could. Following that I sent a certified, return receipt letter stating that I would have to take further steps; asking if the owner had an attorney he wanted my attorney to contact. It was after that I received a call that they would be back within a short period of time. They returned and did more work (this was the fifth or sixth trip) to resolve their screw-ups. All in all, I was quite upset and ready to take legal measures; not something I really wanted to do, but felt that I might be forced to just to get something I paid an excessive price for considering the job, the delays and the reactions received. I strongly advise that anyone considering this company be very aware of the possible problems and get every minute detail in writing. They come across as "good ol' boys" you can trust implicitly - but don't believe it.
