RWJJR Construction & Consulting Services was a good company to work with. Bob came over and did a very comprehensive consultation, then offered his ideas of various ways the project could be approached, giving a couple of different cost options so I could choose what fit my budget. I appreciated that. My outdoor project was completed in November during a very rainy season, but they worked around that and got it done successfully. They communicate well, calling and returning calls promptly. If you are lucky enough to be able to hire Shannon to do any painting for you, you will be very happy. She is the best- does outstanding work. I have already hired her to do another painting project for me.
Description of Work: Replaced boards on older part of deck, cleaned and stained the newer part of the deck. Added handrails on steps.

Installation was fair. Caulking around the sink was so bad, that we requested it be redone. Washing machine (a front loader) was installed incorrectly (the clips that keep the tub from spinning during shipping were left in place). We were told to purchase end caps for the countertops that weren't required.
Description of Work: Remodeling of 2 bedroom stick-built house. Completely redo kitchen and bathroom. We did the demo, but the contractor did the installation of the old cabinets, dishwasher, built-in microwave, counter top, ceiling fan in livingroom, new interior doors, a light tube in the bathroom, new bathtub and new bathroom cabinets.

We are sorry to hear of the issues you experienced with the renovation. We did set your washing machine in place and likely left stabilizing clips and instructions inside the washer. My records indicate the design change made to box in washing machine negated the need for the 15 dollar end caps and they certainly could have been returned but we never heard about any issues until your review 3 years later. We certainly would have addressed any item if requested. We could have easily addressed anything when you hired us later to come back and install the down draft stove vent and venting in your main house next door. Again we apologize for any missed items that could have been adressed.

It went sadly. RWJJR hired Jose Funes of Grace Remodeling (469) 667-4813 to do our roof. RWJJR screwed up the measurements and we had to wait an extra day for the products to come in. Robert W. Jaskiewicz, came on site the 1st day and the 3rd day. He told me many times what "a favor he was doing me" as far as cost. Our insurance was paying due to hail damage. He did not manage the crew nor did he make sure they were doing the job up to code. The Grace Remodeling crew did NOT pick up debris (NAILS) from our yard, Robert did not go onto roof to check the work, did not even get on a ladder. He said," I'm afraid of heights"' REALLY!!! As I am clinching my hand to smack my husband for hiring him...I ask him for the itemized bill to present to our insurance company and he acted as if I was asking for flying unicorns. He spent 45 minutes in the cab of his very clean truck and figured out the itemized bill because I refused to pay him the balance until I had it. We have owned our house for 14 years and this was our 1st claim for "acts of God". I learned a lot.
Description of Work: He came on site and looked at roof. Period. He gave us a quote to replace roof. He never set foot on the roof. He then hired a different contractor to do the work. Was not on site the 2nd or 3rd day of construction. Showed up on pay day. He did not understand that we needed an itemized bill to present to our insurance company to get reimbursed. I refused to pay the balance until I had what insurance required. He sat in our driveway for 45 minutes to type up the itemized receipt. The contractor would have been done on the second day but he shorted us some materials and we had to wait until the product came in.

I am very pleased with the quality of the work performed by RWJJR construction. Bob was very professional and knowledgeable though the entire project life-cycle, from bid and proposal until final walk-through. He provided innovative solutions to the complex issues associated with resolving structural problems with my building, and all the steel work associated with building my aviary. He did a good job of coordinating the Electrical, Insulation, Plumbing, Flooring, and HVAC subcontractors. The work not performed by the subcontractors was well performed by Sergio and his team. The job included fixing the bowing walls of a 45? by 26? standalone garage that was 22? tall at its peak; insulating the walls and ceiling and adding a damper controlled HVAC system; adding a 2nd floor with a kitchenette, full bath, HVAC, hot water and storage rooms; building out a 25.5? by 15.5? bird aviary including FRP walls, welded steel frame 11? tall cages, a kitchenette with cabinets, exhaust fans and specialized lighting and electrical work including a new house panel, a sub panel and transfer switch, 5 timers and a generator backup; creating a shop; finishing out the car parking area; and adding an industrial epoxy floor for all 1st floor areas. Bob and his team are very customer oriented and will not leave until you are satisfied. I recommend RWJJR to others in the area and I will use this team again.

This is our second time working with Bob and Shanon. They have been most helpful in planning and executing the repairs and remodeling that we needed. This was actually a three part project. First, a kitchen remodel with new counter tops, sink, faucet, and back splash. One counter top required an extension to enclose a compactor. Bob was most helpful in designing that and adding a small shelf above the extension that matched existing cabinets. The second involved replacing powered roof vents, adding a solar powered vent and installing light tubes and the third was replacing a low landscape timber wall around and exterior garage with a manufactured stone wall. The entire project took about two weeks. All work was actually performed by Sergio and his partner, both very pleasant and conscientious gentlemen. As with most projects, there were a few glitches along the way but all were satisfactorily resolved. I remain very pleased with Bob and his staff and would certainly recommend them.

It went well he was very professional and got the job done quickly. It was pricey for such a small job but did not get estimates from other contractors so that was my fault. He did have to paint the gutter to match the color to the other down spouts because you cannot buy just that small amount of material the correct color. I would use him again but I would get other estimates prior to the work performed.

[Member Name Removed], We are very sorry for your disappointment. It is our goal to exceed customers expectations in every respect and it appears that is not the case here and for that I apologize. We take every aspect of our business very serious and take nothing for granted. To that end, I have reviewed the documentation on your request for service and find your rather vicious review is inaccurate and the facts are not as you would like everyone to believe. We did respond more than once thru Angie's list (documentation available) and I spoke with you on the phone regarding attempt to schedule. We also requested the oppertunity to reschedule a visit at your convenience thru Angie's list messaging service but received no responses from you days prior to your placing the review. Contacted the contractor and showed up to the appointment 30mins early. He went through the property explaining the things that I need and wanted done while also making suggestions that would make the property look nicer and not as expensive. After all that his proposal was too far outside of my budget and is why I had to decline. He was very polite and understood ablution e having to decline. Anytime that I have work needed I will consider this contractor as he is very professional I have even recommended him to a few friends.

[member name removed], We are sorry our price did not meet your expectation. During our meeting you showed us the poor level of craftsmanship you previously experienced and your expectation of moderate level quality project. We prepared a detailed proposal encompassing new electric, new plumbing, new central heat and air system as well as new interior and exterior doors, new windows, new flooring and new drywall ceilings that fell and new texture, priming and paint thru the home including full gut and replace two bathrooms including cabinets fixtures and bath tubs/showers. we prepared a very competitive price for a total rehab of less than $ 60,000.00 which by any standards is extremely low. We wish you well and sincerely sorry we could not assist you. Robert Jaskiewicz President RWJJR Inc.

I have a guest house built above a detached garage. The floor was sagging and had a spongy feel to it. Bob was able to come up with several alternative designs to both eliminate a column in the below garage space and increase the stability of the floor above. Bob?s design considered retaining and increasing the utility of the garage space while other contractors just bid on an easy, cheaper fix. Bob was able to maximize the head room below the new beam. No Bob wasn?t the cheapest, but my father taught me you get what you pay for. This part of the story emphasizes that point. After the job was completed, I discovered a section of wall outlets in the garage that no longer worked. When I tried to reset the breaker, the entire main breaker tripped out. These electrical outlets were serviced by a line that had passed through the original beam. I naturally assumed Bob?s workers crossed some wires or shorted them out with a nail or two. Bob returned with his electrician and discovered original wiring joined with wire nuts and no junction boxes and also a GFCI that when tripped, shorted out to another adjacent circuit. Bob fixed it all without any additional charge, even though it was clear to me that the cause was a result of the original wiring and not the beam install. This was most assuredly a professional, courteous, pleasant, and positive experience!

The entire project went very well. Bob responded very quickly after my call to view the damage and provide an estimate. I had already received an insurance estimate for cost of repair and Bob was able to work within that budget. A few additional repairs - not covered by insurance were desired and the company was able to fit those in at reasonable additional cost. This was a difficult project due to the fact that major interior repair was done throughout the entire house while the family was still present. The workmen were very cooperative with the family while they packed and moved items from room to room. All walls and ceilings throughout the house were refreshed with new texture and prime painted. ( the family did finish painting on the walls), The finished product looks very nice. While we would prefer not to need this type of service any time soon, we would definitly call on RWJJR again should it become necessary.

They remembered everything. They did a great job. At first something wasn't finished. We called them and they came out immediately to fix it. He was very detailed in explaining why everything had to be done and how. He made it very understandable and simple. I feel like I could trust him. We felt comfortable leaving them at our house while we were away. They were coming out extra and didn't charge us. They wanted to make sure we are happy.
Description of Work: We have wood on the back of our house. The wood had to be torn out and replaced. We had to have the bushes cut back before they tore the old wood out. We had termite and ant problems and rotted out from the rain. They put it back correctly. They primed it but we asked them not to paint it and they didn't. Additionally, we had an electricity problem, plugs weren't working in back, front, and bathroom. They check it all out and realized the garage had a plug where you had to push a button to make them all work. They replaced the instep and the back door too.

Bob was very knowledgeable and easy to work with. He was actually the higher of 2 bids that I received, but his professionalism and the time he spent with me explaining his vision for my job put him over the top in my mind. He allowed me to do some of the demo and finish work myself (please make sure you understand what finish work involves) to allow me get most of the things done within my budget. Found by the end that we had different opinions of what finish work actually involves. The only issue that I had with the contractor is the finish work was not explained to me as to what I would be required to do (of course this was my own fault for now asking the questions...). This was my first remodel job that I have had done, so really didn't know what questions to ask and wish I had asked exactly what finish work would involve. The reason I chose only good on punctuality was the electrician. They took days to get someone out to perform their work, which pushed back the sheetrock work several days. The reason I chose only good (B) is because subcontractors contradicted each other and made some less than professional comments right in front of me, which I felt was very unprofessional. With that said, RWJJR Construction did a wonderful job overseeing my job and offering suggestions to make it a pleasant experience. They use only top materials (which explained the higher bid) and the work performed was all top notch.
Description of Work: Had 2 bathrooms remodeled (new plumbing throughout the house), the first was gutted and rebuilt from the ground to the ceiling with new electricity. Shower was installed and plumbed. 2nd bathroom was completely removed from the house and rebuilt from the ground to the roof and attached to the house. It is 13 x 13 and is split bathroom and closet. Finish work was all completed by myself for both.

They began with the demo of the bathroom....all the way to the studs. Next they framed the bathroom where an extra closet had existed. I wanted more space in the bathroom for me to have an area to sit to put on shoes, etc., I wanted a heated floor since it was going to be tiled. That was done after the subfloor was finished. The tiled shower was done before the flooring and that was a few days process, but such an awesome job was done. I am very proud of my new bathroom.
Description of Work: This is another job RWJJR construction did for me, a bathroom remodel. We did a nice tiled shower and tiled floor. Bob and Shannon work very hard to go above and beyond our expectations. This doesn't mean that everything goes perfectly, but every obstacle is tackled and dealt with professionally and as painless as possible. It is hard to live in a rennovation, if you let them handle all of the rennovation, it is very much worth every penny spent. I have hired subcontractors before myself, and it was a nightmare. They had some help working for them at different points of the rennovation , but every step was checked and made right if it wasn't already done so.

I told the story above from start to finish. I'm a elderly widow and was looking for someone that would not take advantage of me and I found it. Anything that needs repaired they are qualified to do. I will soon need a new roof and they will get the job if they want it. What else can I say, it went great.
Description of Work: RWJJR Construction 3380 Hwy 34 S, Greenville, Texas 75402 First repair was a leak in the roof, they promptly repaired this by replaceing an old vent an sealing around the new vent. Second repair was replacing wax ring, reseating commode & replacing caulking. Next the livingroom, hall, part of the kitchen & one wall in the dinning was painted. Also, some ceiling cracks were repaired in the kitchen. Base boards were touched up as needed. They do general house cleaning for me every other Friday. I have a small home so they charge approximately $100.00 a month They vaccuum, mop, dust, clean bathrooms, & kitchen counter tops.
