+ -1 moreIn 2009, he helped us replace the floater that regulated auto fill mechanism. Did a field test for us and did not want to charge even for adding some chemicals for us because he was a few minutes late. Had to insist he take our check. He does more major work like installation, etc. Was honest in telling us what was good about our pool and what was not, told us what we can do ourselves without having to spend a whole bunch of money on things that will not work. Wish all pool companies like him, again, too bad he is not into pool maintenance, but sound and straight forward advise every time we needed to trouble shoot. Never tried to sell us something we did not need.
Description of Work: Date not exact, was helped in 2008 and 2009 on at least 3 occasions. We moved into a new home in 2008, did not know nuts about pool. He was listed as a provider on the filter/pump system (Jandy) and contacted him. He was busy, but called us back later on and scheduled a pool school. Very thorough in checking things out for us, tell us in clear, unvarnished terms what he found, in effect, we had a great looking pool that he has little to offer in services. He does not do pool maintenance, but showed us what needed to be done, how the flow went, etc. Very straight forward, down to earth and honest person.

+ -1 moreBetter than expected, showed us how to do things on our own in future, not trying to get repeat business like telling us too difficult, etc. How to check to see when maintenance is needed, how to perform cleaning of our salt cell. Told us our machine is actually in good shape.
Description of Work: Provided Pool school service, but took the time to show how our specific machine works. Took effort to test parts as well as testing water for us. Showed each part, not in a hurry and not condescending towards novice like myself. Even added shock for us without charging on top of the teaching.
