DORIAN'S INTERIOR DESIGN

The decorator is a nice lady, but I can't get her to come to hang the pictures. They all are sitting on the floors. It has been a couple of weeks, but they keep putting me off.

At the initial consultation, I told Steven that we only had a few weeks to figure out what we needed to prepare a full specification of our remodel plans to allow two or three contractors to bid on the remodel promptly, so that we could move into our new house as soon as possible. He offered several good ideas during the walk-through, and we decided to use him. But, at the scheduled follow-up meeting a week and a half later, he had not done any preparation since the walk-through and only wanted to talk in generalities on plans. We pressed him regarding our tight time line and explained we only needed the critical items that the contractors would need to bid on the remodel (what things to rip out and replace). Apparently, this was too difficult a concept for him because two days later he called back and said that WE had not listened to HIM about how fluid a process this needed to be, WE were not paying attention to how HE thought it should be done, and he could not work with us.
