 + -1 moreThis guy/company is worthy of 0 stars! I have a new born baby and he was suppose to redo my kitchen in 6 weeks. He first tore out the existing cabinets and left me without a sink or stove. There was multiple issues that were brought up by me that he needed to fix some issues were not fixable and some days he would not even show up to work. Some of the days he did show up he would be late or leave for half of the day. One day neither him or his workers were here and my house was left unlocked and garage wide open! Not to mention he obtained his workers/helpers from the work force and was not a part of an original crew. Approx 2-3 days before the deadline of when he said he would be done, he was not even half way done! He proceeded to cut up expensive wood for cabinet doors without my approval which wasted time and money. Essentially he was paid way more then the work preferred and yes that was my fault but he was not honest enough to re inverse me for the work actually performed. He also damaged my refrigerator and tile. Needless to say I had to fire him and hire another cabinet guy. The current cabinet guy is well established and experienced and stated that he had never seen such horrible work with incorrect measurements. All of the cabinets had to be ripped out and started all over. So I might as well have taken the money I paid mark and burnt it in the back yard! So before hiring this guy, ask yourself can you be without any sort of kitchen with a new born baby for an extended period of time. I'm here to tell you that it is extremely difficult! He started the project near Halloween and we are just now having the new cabinets installed 5 MONTHS later! This guy will lie to you and does not know what he's doing or anything about carpentry. I definitely would not recommend barker construction to anyone!
Description of Work: He was paid to tear out the existing cabinets and build custom cabinets but the custom cabinets were so poorly build with too many problems that he had to be fired and we had to start all over. So to answer this question, he did a horrible job and took my money and ran!
